00:00I heard the splash. I realized that Laura wasn't there. I couldn't save her. It's the
00:15worst day of my life. A New Zealander living in Canada has been charged with
00:19murdering his wife. This isn't your typical whodunit. This is two people on a
00:25boat. Only one of them's alive. He was not going to have a fair trial. He was
00:31showing signs of mental illness. I received a letter in the mail. The author
00:36of the letter was incarcerated with Peter Beckett. The letter articulated
00:41some shocking developments in the case. He wanted to kill these witnesses
