00:38And these people, the so-called anti-corruption forces, those involved in some of these

00:44so-called liberal views, have then

00:47Completely muted when it comes to huge corruption to ex-leaders who have amassed billions of Ringgit

00:55Najib had apologised unreservedly for the 1MDB scandal in a statement read by his son last month

01:01Saying it pained him that it occurred when he was the Prime Minister and Finance Minister

01:07In response, Anwar said he welcomed the apology which drew criticisms from several quarters

01:14including former Deputy Law Minister Hanipa Maiden

01:18Meanwhile, Anwar also reiterated his commitment to fighting corruption

01:21Adding that his administration is empowering enforcement agencies to take tough action
