00:03Derbyshire Police are appealing for the public's help to try and identify a man after reports
00:08of a girl being sexually assaulted at the Why Not music festival earlier this year.
00:12The incident occurred on Friday, August 2nd, in front of a red double-decker bus and near
00:17the main stage during the Kooks set between 8.30pm and 10pm.
00:22The incident saw a teenage girl sexually assaulted by a man who is described as having a Liverpudlian
00:27accent and was more than six feet tall.
00:29He had dark hair which was short on the sides, a short beard and tattoos all over his body,
00:34hands, arms and neck, including a distinctive angel tattoo on his shoulder area.
00:40Officers remain keen to speak to a woman who spoke with the victim at the time of the incident
00:44and helped to lead her away from the area but then left without leaving her details.
00:48Police urgently need to speak to her as a potential witness to the incident.
00:53This woman is described as being in her 40s with a Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire accent,
00:57she had shoulder-length dark hair with a fringe and was wearing circular sunglasses
01:01and a dark dress or blouse that reached down to her lower thighs.
01:05Anyone with information about the incident or who knows the woman is asked to contact
01:09Derbyshire Police.
01:13Details have been released about this year's festive light switch-on in Chesterfield.
01:16The event will be held on Sunday, November 17th with street entertainment starting from
01:21noon and the stage show starting at 3pm before the lights are switched on at 4.45pm.
01:26The free family friendly event will include the chance to sing along with some festive
01:30carols, be entertained by the National Health Service, snap a selfie with Santa or simply
01:35see the festive lights being turned on across the town.
01:39This year's special guest is Bluey who will be appearing in New Square at intervals between
01:43noon and 3pm.
01:45A wide range of market traders will be standing at the event and Chesterfield Market Hall
01:48will be open for visitors to shop with local independent businesses.
01:52There will also be amusement rides across the town centre during the event.
