00:00Hello it's Martin Dempster the Scotsman Golf Correspondent here coming to you from Club
00:10de Golf Alcanada in the north of Mallorca where the green keepers are out cutting the
00:21greens at the end of the third round in the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final supported
00:31by the R&A. We were due to have some rain this morning after spectacular lightning last
00:42night however it really has been an idyllic day here in the Balearics. Ideal for scoring
00:52and the man who led the way in that respect was Dane Rasmus Njergjard Pettersson. He's
01:01already secured his step up to the DP World Tour next season on the back of three wins
01:10he secured automatic promotion however he's come here this week to try and be crowned
01:17as the Challenge Tour number one and he's in top spot in the projected standings heading
01:26into the final round. He shot a 10 under par 62 today which equaled the course record set
01:35earlier in the week by Spaniard Angel Ayora. Preferred lies were in operation today nonetheless
01:43that was a spectacular effort and he sits on 22 under par one shot ahead of Ayora. The
01:54two Scots Ewan Walker, Ewan shot a 2 under par 70 today for a 5 under par total while
02:02Daniel Young had a 74. He had a bogey and a double bogey in his last three holes for
02:08a 74 to set a shot behind his compatriot. 20 cards will be handed out here on Sunday
02:19evening to earn players promotion to the DP World Tour. At the moment Ewan Walker he started
02:29the week in 24th he's down to 25th. The top 22 is the key number on this occasion so Ewan
02:40having failed narrowly in the last two years needs a strong final day to finally make that
02:48step up. Daniel Young meanwhile was 27th at the start of the week he's down to 31st. This
02:55is Daniel's debut here and though he knew it was going to take a really big performance to get
03:02into a card position he's going to take a lot of great experience away from this week no matter
03:09how it all unfolds tomorrow. To keep up to date with the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final log
