00:00We stick in the SEC to start this third hour. Many an
00:07intriguing matchup on this opening Saturday of this month.
00:11The final of the regular season in college football. Tennessee,
00:15an intriguing team. Off of a buy, off of a huge win on
00:19Rocky Top in the third Saturday in October against Alabama. But
00:24what does this Tennessee team look like in SEC play? Is it
00:29the offense we saw the opening three weeks? Absolutely not. Is
00:32it one of the more sound and stellar defenses in the
00:35country? Yes, so. And they are taking on a Kentucky team who
00:39is the worst scoring offense in the Southeastern Conference.
00:43Lacey Guy, the Vols, laying three scores today at home in
00:47Knoxville against the Cats. How do you break down this SEC
00:50affair? Well, they've won three straight. They won last year in
00:53Lexington, thirty-three to twenty-seven. They did cover as
00:56basically a four-point road dog in that matchup. What do we see
01:00against Alabama? Two hundred and eleven rushing yards on the
01:03ground. Nico playing off a play action, made some plays but the
01:07defense totally contained Jalen Miller. On the flip side,
01:10there's no identity for Kentucky heading into this matchup. They
01:13used to be a dominant front seven. Very good secondary.
01:17They're still only giving up a hundred and seventy-eight
01:19passing yards per game but I have no confidence in Brock
01:22Vandegriff in that offense. They can't run the football like
01:26they could years ago with Chris Rodriguez, sustained drives.
01:29They're only averaging a buck thirty-two on the ground.
01:31They're both coming out of a bye week. The fact that this
01:35line is seventeen and a half, I'm inclined to take the points.
01:39I'm not gonna be betting this game most likely but if I had
01:42to, I would take the Cats because I think that's too big
01:45of a number. Tennessee wins. Uh you're not betting it? Great.
01:48I'm I'm betting it. I'm betting Kentucky stay away from this
01:51game. Stay away from any game involving me. Especially
01:53tomorrow's Eagles, Jaguars. Whoa. Whoa. Just let's just
01:58let's you rattled me, right? Why did I rattle you with the
02:01Eagle game? Yeah, you did. Uh that was a break. You did. Yeah
02:05but it's still bothering. Lingering. It's lingering. It's
02:07really is. It is. It's it's like you attacked my family. I
02:10didn't lie. Take a look to the right. Brock Vandegriff. Yeah,
02:13Brock Vandegriff covers this number today. Seventeen and a
02:15half. This is this is a spot that Stoops has been in a few
02:19times this season and he's been fantastic against Georgia,
02:23Oh my goodness. Up against it. Oh, they almost win the game.
02:26Oh, miss. Alright, listen. That was one thing but uh no, they
02:29win the game out right here. Look, Stoops is having a
02:31terrible season. Yeah. He's actually found himself on the
02:34hot seat. Terrible timing. They just let him back inside Rupp
02:37Arena. There's so many good things happening in Lexington.
02:39That couch seems gonna rip and roar this season. Really? But
02:42uh yeah. I'll tell you this guy. He's not making it through
02:45the segment. I'll be honest with you, alright? Um I'm gonna
02:48hogtie this guy. Uh I I I really really do think that
02:52Kentucky covers this. I don't trust that Tennessee's going to
02:56have figured out their offense. Oh. Uh over the bye week here.
02:59They'll trust Dylan Sampson which means it'll be even more
03:02difficult to pull away on this total. And they should trust
03:05Dylan Sampson. Kentucky an elite defense in the opening
03:08few games of this season. Last two, they've allowed at least
03:11twenty-four points. Florida put up forty-eight. Jaden Ball had
03:14five rushing scores. Auburn scored twenty-four. Jarquez
03:18Hunter. The back for the Tigers. Two hundred and seventy-eight
03:22yards in multiple touchdowns. Dylan Sampson's prop. One ten
03:26and a hook. But this Tennessee offense is very peculiar to
03:31figure out. A hundred and ninety-one points. First three
03:33games of the year in non-conference play. Only 86 in
03:37their last four. Never more than twenty-five. Their point
03:41differential in the first three games plus 178 in their last
03:46four. It is just plus eighteen. You ready for this? I know
03:49you're going to hate it. Nikki Treats, Nico Ayame Leava on
03:53Halloween weekend extended. More like Nikki Tricks the way
03:56he's been playing in SEC action. A buck ninety-five or
04:00less in all four conference games. His passing yards prop
04:03two oh four and you're getting from both sides. Yeah.
