Police have appealed for witnesses to a fatal shooting in Melbourne overnight, with the perpetrator still on the loose. Emergency services were called to Langford Street in Melbourne’s inner north at a quarter past three and found a man on the footpath with a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.

00:13When they arrived, they found a man who had already died at the scene.
