00:22Dak says he's fired up about the offensive game plan that they have put together up there
00:28going into this game. How you feeling about this opportunity against the Falcons?
00:32Yeah, I think obviously, you know, we've had a difficult run here the past couple of games
00:39and, you know, I think everybody's drilled in and ready to get back in the win column
00:46and I think we had a really nice week of practice and I feel like, you know, that we'll go up
00:51there and we'll play well.
00:53You know, how do you look at just the overwhelming amount of injuries you guys have had on the
00:59defensive side of the football and how possible it is to ask some of these guys to step up
01:04and do just as good of a job?
01:06Well, it's just, you know, it's part of our business and, you know, things can happen
01:12like this, you know, any given season where you have a tough patch. The good news with
01:17our injuries is, you know, they're not for the season and, you know, we're expecting
01:23a lot of, you know, to get a lot of guys back over the next couple of weeks. But in the
01:28meantime, we do have to have guys step up and play well. And, you know, we're not totally
01:35ruled out some of the guys yet. We'll see how things go tomorrow in terms of, you know,
01:40where we think they are, but certainly a challenge. But I think it's something that, you know,
01:45improves them and the defensive group will step up and I think we can get the job done.
01:51Yeah, we saw Micah ruled out along with De'Ron Bland. Any timeline to get them back and then
01:57anything you can add on Trayvon Diggs with him being questionable and what he's dealing
02:00with?
02:01Yeah, I think everything's just week to week, you know, at this point with guys like Bland,
02:07guys like Micah, you know, you just have to take it week to week. Diggs will take another
02:12long look at tomorrow and then make a decision.
02:16Dak and Lam, we're talking about kind of maybe finding something late in that San Francisco
02:21game getting back onto the same page. Do you have reason to believe that as well here moving
02:27forward?
02:28Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of reasons to believe it because they played so well together
02:33in the past and certainly, you know, it did feel like things were coming together for
02:38them. Obviously a big game for CD and, you know, the guys kept competing out there and
02:45making plays. Certainly they wanted to continue that into the last drive, but that's a, you
02:51know, a work in progress and we just, it's a long season. We got 10 football games left.
02:57Certainly you know, as Bill Parcells used to say, you are what you are. Right now we're
03:01three and four and you know, not playing above average football, but I do think that's something
03:08we've got the right group of guys, the right group of coaches that'll you know, that have
03:12been in situations like this before. And I think we'll respond.
