01:15This is a huge boost for us. We are able to gauge our opponents. We are able to observe and study who we will be able to hit and who we will be able to equalize in the next hits.

01:31Actually, all of our opponents are hard to beat. There are a lot of opponents, especially our small boats that are mixed because that is the World Games Qualifying for next year.

01:45There are a lot of opponents, especially from the Southeast and also the European countries.

01:52Aside from the two gold medals, the country also won a silver medal for the open category, while the bronze for our women's team.

02:01According to the two Filipino paddlers, Layalyn Baligasa and Ivory Bison, they are proud to once again give glory to the country.

02:11I am very happy. This is my first gold medal of the Philippine Dragon Boat Team in the 2024 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships.

02:18I am very happy because we will be able to hit the Philippines flag.

02:27We are very overwhelmed that we cannot explain how we feel right now.

02:31We are very happy because it is very hard to win a medal in the World Championships. We did our best. Teamwork is the key. We are all willing to win.

02:43The competition is expected to be even more intense on Saturday because the two next race event tickets of the Philippines will continue to enter the World Games.
