00:09According to DTWH-1 Assistant Regional Director Matias Malenab,

00:14more than 1,000 personnel in the Ilocos region are already prepositioned.

00:22including motor vehicles in case of emergency in the cities.

00:26For now, only San Fernando-Magulin Road is affected by the typhoon,

00:32where only one lane is passable.

00:34Meanwhile, DPWH-2 is doing a clearing operation in Cagayan Valley.

00:40According to Assistant Regional Director Editha Babaran,

00:44it is impossible to cross the bridge in Cagayan Province due to river overflow.

00:49There will also be a new clearing operation

00:52and damage assessment in Norten Batanes if the weather gets better.

01:01almost P124 million were left behind by the Typhoon Christine in Calabarzon.

01:07According to the National Irrigation Administration of Region 4A,

01:11the damage caused by the typhoon in the irrigation infrastructure in the region is at Level 2.

01:17Some dams, main and lateral canals, and service roads

01:23were severely affected by the irrigation system of the area.

01:26The initial crop loss in rice fields affected by the typhoon is estimated at almost P100 million.

01:34Meanwhile, the desilting and clearing operation of the GIA field team in the irrigation canals

01:41to regulate the water flow in the region continues.
