00:00The Commission on Elections, or COMELEC, reported the South Korean firm Miro Systems Inc.
00:06has completed the manufacture and production of over 100,000 automated counting machines,
00:12or ACMs, to be used in 2025 midterm polls. The poll body said the completion came
00:19two months earlier than the deadline, which is December this year.
00:24According to COMELEC data, more than 78,000 ACMs are currently stored in its warehouse
00:31in Binyan Laguna. Aside from the ACMs, Miro has already delivered external batteries,
00:37power cords, SD cards, thermal paper,
00:41smart cards for the electoral board, and other election paraphernalia.
