00:16The Super Typhoon Leon is the strongest typhoon in Santa Ana, Cagayan this year.

00:22That's why the LGU is working hard to protect the residents, especially those who live in the coastal areas.

00:32The Super Typhoon Leon hit Santa Ana, Cagayan in the afternoon.

00:35The strong winds and rains have built up the town, especially in the coastal areas.

00:39So this is the situation of the coastal areas of Barangay Palawik.

00:45The sea waves are very strong, as you can see.

00:48The strong rains and strong winds are hitting the town at the same time.

00:54It hurts the skin.

00:55On my right, these are the residents of the coastal areas.

01:00They all went to the evacuation center.

01:04The problem is that the river there is the river of the Palawik River.

02:37The evacuees in the barangays are almost full just like in Palawig.

02:40The barangay center in Santa Ana was not safe from the storm surge.

02:44The water from the sea entered the community to save the residents.

02:48In Aparey, Cagayan, a fisherman's wharf was swept away by the sea.

02:51It couldn't withstand the strong waves so it fell into the sea.

02:55In Gonzaga, Cagayan, pre-emptive evacuations were conducted in some barangays there.

02:59The rescuers helped to bring them to the evacuation centers.

03:03Among them are the evacuees of Santa Ana.

03:05There was no electricity and internet supply in the operation center of Santa Ana.

03:09But they still maintained the situation for more than 24 hours.

03:13Just yesterday, the LGU prepared relief goods for those affected by the flood.

03:18The augmentation supply from the DSWD Region 2 for the family food box has also arrived.

03:23The children were buried under signal number 5.

03:26The residents prepared early.

03:28They tied the roof of their house so that the wind won't blow.

03:32Ace, Cagayan is now under signal number 2.

03:36And for now, the weather is calm.

03:38The rain has stopped and the wind is blowing.
