00:00This has happened nine school days in the past three years, which from our perspective is unreasonable.
00:06It shouldn't be happening. We should have access to a mains water supply.
00:10It's very difficult if you are a young person with autism or a young person with learning difficulties
00:15who's unable to communicate. You work on routine, you get up in the morning, you put your uniform on
00:21and then suddenly you're told that there's no school. It's going to be very upsetting for you.
00:27Obviously our staff don't arrive on site, even our site team, until just before eight o'clock
00:31and then it's pushing all the buttons to cancel transport, to contact parents,
00:35to let local authority know and the really difficult thing is that some pupils may
00:40already be in transit to the school. We really want a commitment from South East Water to ensure
00:46that the reliability and the resilience of our water supply is 100 percent.
