00:00Steve, forgive me.
00:04No, no, go ahead.
00:05I want to say banana.
00:07Welcome to Nia's Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the unforgettable
00:13and gut-busting times our favorite celebrities competed on game shows.
00:18Gilbert, what significance does 1908 have if you were a Chicago Cubs fan?
00:24Ah, that's the year you were in Chicago!
00:28Number 10, Betty White and Alan Ludden, Tattletales.
00:33Password host Alan Ludden and sitcom star Betty White made several appearances together
00:38on various game shows over the years, but audiences really got to see inside their marriage
00:44on Tattletales.
00:45Couples who appeared on this show were asked questions that would test just how well they
00:50knew each other.
00:51When Bert Convy asks Ludden where White's vaccination scar is, he gives his answer and
00:56says if he's wrong, he will leave the studio.
00:59On her left arm, is that what you said?
01:02And if I'm wrong, I'm leaving the whole thing.
01:04I'm leaving the studio.
01:06Well, when White is asked, she provides a pretty cheeky response.
01:10Well, I have a heart-shaped mole on my left hip.
01:14Ask anybody, but I...
01:16But then insists she doesn't have one.
01:19Yes, you do.
01:20It's on your left arm.
01:23A man of his word, Ludden storms off stage as she cackles.
01:27Epic.
01:28Number 9, Kelly Pickler, Celebrity Family Feud
01:32This bubbly country star has been making us laugh since her days on American Idol.
01:37Now you look like a college professor.
01:38Do I?
01:39Do I look smart?
01:40Yeah, completely.
01:41Maybe people will take me seriously.
01:43During a 2016 appearance on the celebrity edition of Family Feud, she and hers faced
01:48off against NSYNC member Lance Massey's clan.
01:51Pickler gets so hilariously excited during her first question that she completely misses
01:56her buzzer.
01:57We asked 100 women, name something specific that only your man is allowed to do to your behind.
02:09She slaps the podium so hard she startles herself.
02:13Host Steve Harvey nearly ducks for cover.
02:16We need a bigger buzzer.
02:19Surprisingly, her team makes it all the way to the end.
02:22No matter how many times the host looks at her sideways, Pickler always has a bright
02:27smile and carefree attitude, which just makes some of her answers funnier.
02:32Was that five questions?
02:34No, it wasn't five questions.
02:36It was four questions.
02:37We didn't get to the fifth one.
02:39Why not?
02:40Because you kept talking.
02:41Number 8, Patricia Heaton, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire
02:45It's a credit to her acting that this Everybody Loves Raymond co-star so convincingly portrays
02:51the know-it-all on TV.
02:53Okay, so you cry because I'm stupid.
02:56I eat ice cream because you're stupid.
02:58When Patricia Heaton was playing for a charity on a 2009 episode of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,
03:04she got stumped on what turned out to be a fairly simple question.
03:09Heaton immediately comes in with a disclaimer that she isn't that smart.
03:14You know I went to Ohio State, right? I don't know that much.
03:17It's not a great start, but the honesty is admirable.
03:20When she gets a math question, she nearly doubles over in pain.
03:24My kids, once they got past second grade, I could not help them at all with their math, at all.
03:29She blows right through her lifeline and eventually has to have host Regis Philbin help her through it.
03:35Alright, 70 nickels.
03:38This is the worst question you could have asked me.
03:41It's hard not to be entertained watching it unfold.
03:44Number 7, Sherri Shepherd, Celebrity Family Feud.
03:48This comedian and former co-host of The View was never afraid to speak her mind.
03:53That trend continued when she competed on Celebrity Family Feud back in 2018.
03:59Steve Harvey asks the contestants what a female cop might do in the bedroom.
04:04Shepherd immediately goes for the nuclear option.
04:07We can't share it here.
04:09It is simultaneously hilarious, scary, and completely out of pocket.
04:14Harvey doesn't even know what to say.
04:17This is a game show.
04:19This isn't therapy.
04:21He seems pretty taken aback after that, though, which is funny in its own right.
04:26Shepherd's answers don't get much better throughout the night.
04:29Which state has the best beaches in America?
04:38And you said...
04:40Miami.
04:42By some miracle, she manages to pull out a win.
04:46Though the real victory is the hilarity along the way.
04:50Name the busiest day of the week for banks.
04:52You said...
04:54Friday.
04:56Survey said...
05:01Number 6, Lynn Redgrave, Jeopardy.
05:04A classic Celebrity Jeopardy matchup between best-selling author Stephen King
05:09and The X-Files star David Duchovny does not go well for actress Lynn Redgrave.
05:14She seemingly has a hard time grasping the fundamentals of the game.
05:19Her overuse of her signaling device even gets her logged out of several questions
05:24and she can be heard grunting and groaning at her competitor's answer.
05:28I think that must be it. It's driving me nuts.
05:31As a result, Redgrave spends considerable time in the red.
05:35She even amusingly bemoans the fact that her fellow contestants aren't being gentleman
05:40and letting her answer first.
05:42I've been answering, I've been beeping.
05:44These beastly people next to me are not helping me in any way.
05:48As she pleads to Alex Trebek for an explanation,
05:51he gives a hysterical smackdown like only he can.
05:55With still chuckling.
05:57Does the word stupid mean anything?
06:07Goodbye.
06:08See you later, my car.
06:09Number 5, Jason Alexander and Carol Burnett, Jeopardy.
06:13Superstar actors can get so famous they forget the basics.
06:19Why should they be expected to know things like math or the alphabet?
06:23One common shape of the stomach is like this tenth letter of the alphabet.
06:28TV legend Carol Burnett and Seinfeld star Jason Alexander
06:32both hit a snag in a celebrity Jeopardy tournament.
06:35Jason, what is K?
06:37No!
06:38They may be television titans,
06:40but no amount of Emmys can prepare them for the ultimate challenge.
06:44Alex Trebek asks a question that requires them to figure out
06:47what the tenth letter of the alphabet is.
06:50It's actually hilarious watching them try to count it on their fingers
06:53and realise how far their grasp on the essentials has slipped.
06:58Carol!
06:59Jason!
07:00What is J?
07:01You got it!
07:02Yes!
07:03Number 4, RuPaul, Weakest Link.
07:06If you want an outlandish answer to a trivia question,
07:09get RuPaul to come on your game show.
07:12Even if the renowned drag queen and host doesn't know the answer,
07:15he'll be sure to make one up on the spot.
07:18Hey, he might even rewrite the question for you.
07:21Oh, I did it so fast, didn't I?
07:25Name a way a woman can flirt with a man
07:28without him thinking that she's a whore.
07:32That's what I'm thinking you're going to say.
07:36On an episode of The Weakest Link from the early 2000s,
07:39acerbic British host Anne Robinson asks a question about the horoscope.
07:44What H is the diagram based on planetary positions at the time of one's birth?
07:49What is RuPaul's guess?
07:51Well, iconic soul and funk diva Chaka Khan, of course.
07:55Chaka Khan.
07:56Horoscope.
07:58The fact that Robinson doesn't even break character
08:01is a testament to her skill as a host.
08:04Number 3, Lucille Ball and Carol Channing, Super Password.
08:08When these two leading ladies of the stage and screen got together,
08:12it was bound to be a laugh riot.
08:14Laughing.
08:17Happy.
08:19The secret password was fickle.
08:21Well, after a judge contested that Carol Channing's clue for her partner
08:24was not in the dictionary...
08:26Unmonogamous.
08:28...she decided to challenge.
08:30Monogamous is in the dictionary, but unmonogamous is not in the dictionary.
08:33Then how do you say not monogamous?
08:35If there's one thing we never thought we'd hear,
08:37it's Channing's distinctive voice trying to argue
08:40that unmonogamous is a real word.
08:43All those years on the stage made her a seasoned pro
08:46when it comes to milking the audience for laughs.
08:49She even has her celebrity partner, the brilliant comedian Lucille Ball,
08:53in stitches by the end.
08:55Can't you be... Well, let's not argue about it.
08:58Yes.
08:59Number 2, Gilbert Gottfried, Hollywood Squares.
09:03This revival of the classic game show
09:05saw some of the era's biggest celebrities helping,
09:08or in some cases hurting, contestants' chances of earning money.
09:12Look at me! I'm a liar! Look at me!
09:16Both players on this unhinged episode
09:18need Gilbert Gottfried's square to win the board.
09:21Gottfried decides to have a little fun with it.
09:24Gilbert, Playgirl Magazine's clinical sexologist, says,
09:28I think we should be able to talk about sex the way we talk about what?
09:34Soft-boiled eggs, because they don't take under three minutes.
09:38He keeps steering them wrong with his answers,
09:41tricking them with his confidence, and grandly declares them fools.
09:45As it continues, the gravel-voiced comedian works the crowd
09:49into rapturous laughter with each new,
09:52You fool! You fool!
09:54Host Tom Bergeron worries at one point that they're going to go overtime
09:59if a contestant doesn't see through his bit soon.
10:02After several more questions, a victor is finally declared.
10:06But let's be real, the true winner is Gilbert Gottfried.

10:32Number 1, Snoop Dogg, Celebrity Family Feud.
10:35You know it's going to be a hilarious episode
10:39when Snoop Dogg and his family are there.
10:42Name something Grandma might do if she caught Grandpa smoking marijuana.
10:46Um, they, the family says, sell it.
10:52Few people in the show business are as cool and confident
10:55as the rapper and TV host.
10:57Well, the fast money round of Family Feud almost got the best of him.
11:01Asked to fill in the blank for pie in the blank,
11:04Snoop inexplicably says, horse.
11:07When they finally get to his answer,
11:09he tries to keep a straight face and almost manages it fairly.
11:14Pie in the, what the hell did you say?
11:21Hey, we crack immediately.
11:24Of course, host Steve Harvey can only keep it together so long.
11:28He walks around and monologues about damaged brain cells.
11:37Everything about the segment is priceless.
