00:00It's round three of the Ballarat Cricket Association. I'm Greg Glidden from the Ballarat Courier bringing you the preview for this weekend's matches.
00:06And we're out here at Marty Bush Reserve, which we'll see the first ever first eleven turf grade match between
00:12Napsabass and Wendaree. Should be a terrific game between the two sides. Gonna be hard for the home side
00:18I think. Wendaree's a pretty strong side, but we'll see what happens. Obviously the home ground is going to make a huge difference for Napsabass.
00:23There's a couple of other really big games.
00:25It's only round three, but it's almost last chance to lose for Golden Point and Mount Clear.
00:29Both of the teams lost the first game of the season and we'll be really keen to actually make sure they get their chance.
00:34You don't want to be go zero and three basically after three games. If you do that, it's a long way back.
00:39So we'll see what happens in that game.
00:40We've also got the game between them. Last year's minor premier is Ballarat Rodin and they're up against the champions East Ballarat.
00:47Ballarat Rodin need a win as well. I think East Ballarat will probably get the point.
00:50So they've been pretty good form to start the season. Other big matches for the weekend.
00:54Bunning Yonge and Bacchus Marsh. Who would have thought those two sides would be undefeated at this stage of the season?
00:59But here we go for one of those.
01:01There'll be a big chance to get through it in October undefeated. Final games at Daly between Daly and Brown Hill.
01:06I expect the Lions to get the job done,
01:08but Brown Hill were pretty good against East Ballarat in the first game and they won't be a pushover.
01:12Enjoy the cricket over the weekend and enjoy the sunshine on Saturday. Take care.
