00:00Ron Alley, best known for playing Tarzan in the 1960s TV show, has sadly passed away at
00:06the age of 86. His daughter, Kristen Cassel Alley, shared the news on social media, saying,
00:12''The world has lost one of the greatest men it has ever known, and I have lost my dad.''
00:19Ron Alley's role as Tarzan aired on NBC from 1966 to 1968, making him a household name
00:26who stunned the audience by performing his own stunts. But he had faced many injuries
00:31during filming, including broken bones and animal bites. His height and athletic build
00:37helped him bring the character to life in a way that fans loved. After Tarzan, Alley
00:42appeared in popular shows like The Love Boat, Wonder Woman, and many more, showing his rage
00:48as an actor.
00:50Kristen did not reveal the exact causes of Ron Alley's death, but it is known that his
00:55health had worsened a few years, and more due to the tragic scene where his wife was
00:59murdered by his own son, as he and the family faced the situation throughout this time.
01:05As in the early 1980s, Ron Alley hosted the Miss America pageant where he met his second
01:11wife, Valerie. They had three children and enjoyed many family moments together. Unfortunately,
01:17their lives changed dramatically when Valerie was killed in 2019 by their son Cameron, who
01:23was then shot by police.
01:26After retiring from acting in 2001, Alley focused on writing, publishing two mystery
01:31novels. He made a short return to acting in 2014 with the film Expecting Amish.
01:38Despite the tough times he faced, Alley is remembered fondly by fans and family. His
01:43daughter honoured him by saying,

01:50world will be cherished forever.
