00:00The DSWD-VCOL will continue to coordinate with various local governments to address the needs of residents affected by the Christine earthquake.

00:16Princess, the DSWD-VCOL will continue to provide assistance to the affected areas, which is one of the most affected areas by the Christine earthquake.

00:26In Lapo, Camarines Norte, almost P700,000 or P700,000 were affected in 10 barangays.

00:32According to the DSWD Region 5, almost P500,000 of food packs were distributed here.

00:37In Parangay Paulog, Ligao City, Albay, food packs of P230,000 were affected in the area of the earthquake.

00:44This is equivalent to P45,000 of the first distributed family food packs.

00:49In the town of Kasiguran in Sorsogon, the DSWD Region 5 was also able to provide assistance.

00:54The family food packs reached P263,000 in the barangays of Santa Cruz, Boton, San Pascual, Burgos and Tonong.

01:03In Vincent, Camarines Norte, almost P600,000 of the families were also given the food packs needed following the impact of the earthquake.

01:10The affected families were evacuated from the barangays of Sabang, Sula, Tagpalogo, Mangkayo and Poplacion.

01:17Other barangays in Puyo Duran, Albay were also able to provide assistance.

01:21This includes Barangay Banawan, Barangay 5 and Barangay 1.

01:25As of October 23, yesterday, P430,000 of the family food packs were distributed,

01:30along with hot meals for more than 2,800 stranded in the areas of Masbate, Sorsogon, Albay and Camarinesur.

01:37The DSWD continues to provide assistance to the local government to meet the needs.

01:44At present, the field office here has more than P243 million of stockpile relief supplies and standby fans.
