00:00We are looking at primetime golf tee time 745 p.m. It's in the primetime, baby.
00:07So how about some early leans on the early lines that we can look forward to here for
00:11the Zozo?
00:12So as I was alluding to there, Donny, there's a couple of guys that we've seen over the
00:15last few weeks of this fall FedExCup series.
00:18The first guy, Kurt Kitayama.
00:20Yeah, I know he's not a household name, but guess what?
00:23Out on the PGA Tour, this guy has won a signature event.
00:26He won the API at Bay Hill a couple of years ago, and he is an impeccable ball striker.
00:31I mean, he's probably second to Zander in this field as far as the statistics goes.
00:35He's got two starts in the fall, and each of them he gained over 12 strokes on the field
00:40tee to green.
00:42Now the putter, it's a little bit of an issue, but guess what?
00:44The guys that win here, they tend not to be, I mean, it's almost team no putt.
00:48So I think that Kurt can get the job done.
00:50He started the week at plus 3,500.
00:52He's already dropped down to plus 2,500.
00:55So I'm not the only one thinking this.
00:56In two trips to the Zozo, he's got two top 30 finishes.
01:00The second guy, the golf gods love a great narrative.
01:03And Gary Woodland is officially cementing his comeback from his brain surgery last year.
01:09He had a top 10 at the Shriners.
01:11It was his first top 10 since he went away.
01:14And I tell you what, Gary is another guy that has played well before on this golf course.
01:19He's got a top five.
01:20But what's really interesting about Gary is that the ball striking is now in a position
01:26where with a little bit of putting help, which he had at the Shriners last week, he gained
01:30almost four strokes with his putter.
01:32And in talking to people in his camp, he's changed his practice methods and he's put
01:36a different practice putter in play.
01:39And that's really helped him see the line better and putt better.
01:42And it showed up at the Shriners.
01:43If Gary putts like that, the way he's been ball striking it over his last five events,
01:47he will absolutely be in contention.
01:49And at plus 8,000, it's a huge number and a wonderful long shot in a short field of
01:5478 players over 72 holes.
