00:00Hello, good afternoon. Quite a foggy start across the south and south-east this morning.
00:05That's cleared away, bringing plenty of dry and fine weather across the country. Different
00:09story in north-western parts of Scotland though, we've just got a weather front moving into
00:13the far north of Scotland, bringing an influx of cloud, some light outbreaks of rain at
00:17times though, this is generally going to be easing away. Across the country then, plenty
00:22of hazy sunshine. It's going to be fairly weak at times, just with a build-up of cloud,
00:27staying largely dry, though the odd shower here and there, but you'll be fairly unlucky
00:30if you do catch any of those. And fairly blustery across north-western parts of Scotland too,
00:36we are generally going to see those winds start to increase later into this afternoon
00:40and through into the evening. Temperatures, roundabout average, highs of 17 in the south,
00:45so still feeling rather pleasant for the time of year. As we head into the evening then,
00:50we will start to see a change across western parts of Scotland, those winds strengthening
00:54more and more, a risk of gales overnight in exposed north-western spots, and perhaps
00:58just seeing some light outbreaks of rain across the outer Hebrides by the time we reach the
01:03morning. So quite a blustery start here, and perhaps quite a wet start in far western parts.
01:08Otherwise, largely dry, a mix of cloud and some clear spells, a little bit chilly under
01:13those clearer skies, but generally not turning quite as cold as it did last night. Perhaps
01:17some pockets of mist and fog, but once again not seeing quite as much as we did this morning.
01:21And mostly a largely dry and fine day once again across the country. Still, though, those
01:26blustery winds continuing in the far north-west, that cloud spilling in too, and slowly we'll
01:31start to see those outbreaks of rain edge into western parts of Northern Ireland and
01:35north-western parts of Scotland too. Once again, a risk of coastal gales in those exposed
01:41spots. Otherwise, though, largely dry. Once again, fairly similar temperatures, highs
01:45of 17, 18 degrees across the far south-east, so once again feeling pleasant for the time
01:50of year. A change is on its way as we finish off the week and head into the weekend. We'll
01:56gradually see this rain slowly move its way towards the rest of the country overnight
02:00Thursday and into Friday. Some quite heavy downpours at times across Northern Ireland,
02:05western parts of Scotland overnight. And this is going to move its way erratically across
02:09the country as we head into Friday, leading to a fairly unsettled weekend, though there
02:13will be some brighter spells at times. For more information on that, though, you can
02:17stay updated on our YouTube channel. Otherwise, that's it from me. Bye bye for now.
