00:00Well, it feels like a dream come true for both of us and like every girl who came for
00:10this beauty pageant, who has manifested and worked supremely hard for this because it's
00:15a dream of so many and now to be able to reach on this platform and be able to make our dream
00:20come true and turn it into reality, not just for ourselves but for all those girls and
00:25all those individuals who have looked up to us and are giving their dreams to our eyes,
00:31I think it's a feeling of gratitude that happens.
00:38Well, I come from a traditional Gujarati family but I'm blessed with two dynamic parents who
00:44have always supported and encouraged me to follow my dreams but being a Gujarati, I think
00:50not many people see this career path as a financial career path which can give you
00:56stability and security. So, I'm the first in my family to get into this field so definitely
01:02a societal eye comes on you and you have to live up to that expectation that could be a challenge
01:07but I have always loved creating history and I love being the first because I think first
01:12are very special and I've always taken it as a motivation to live my dreams and
01:19prove it to myself that I can do it and if I can do it, others can do it too.
01:28Right, I see all the girls who have, who come up even all those girls who have come to the
01:33auditions, everybody is prepared and everybody is taking this very seriously because now times
01:38have changed and people are taking Miss Femina, Miss India as a very serious that comes and
01:42even from that just one day they found that Miss India is coming, everybody come to the preparation
01:48but I wouldn't say it's difficult, it's exciting because when you're doing something that you
01:52enjoy truly from the deepest corner of your heart, every day of waking up, putting on that makeup and
01:58showing up for yourself, I think it's not difficult but rather it's exciting and it's something that
02:03you're doing it for your dream, for your goal and yeah I think that's something that makes it more
02:08even bigger.
02:14I've always been a camera person, I love to interact with people, connect with them and
02:19get to know their stories. Having done Dishjati films already, I of course would love to transition
02:25and try out my hands on the Bollywood cinema but I feel that my heart lies in the mic, my heart lies
02:32in talking and speaking to people so presentation and cross passing is something which I would like
02:36to open the doors for and I'm sure that and we all can see that beauty pageant has been such an
02:43encouraging platform that has given wings to people, given stars like Aishwarya Rai,
02:48Sushmita Sen, Priyanka Chopra and I'm sure all the other girls will also be able to do so but
02:54my heart particularly lies in the mic, being in front of this camera.
02:58If I do get the opportunity, I would love to work with Sanjay Leela for Bally Sir. I'm a huge fan of his
03:04larger-than-life production and most importantly I really love the way he portrayed women characters.
03:09There's so much depth in them and the beauty that he attaches to them, not only in terms of
03:15their costumes and their dances but also in terms of their portrayal and the way they talk
03:22their dances but also in terms of their portrayal and the way they talk, the way they
03:28have the relationship with other characters so it would be a dream come true to be a part of
03:32a Sanjay Leela Vinay Pradhan production.
03:39It's my dad's dream to see his daughter work with Shalekh Khan, if that happens that would be amazing.
03:46I want to see all the pretty girls who came, everybody came to the dream and everybody comes to the
03:57dream to win and when you come to the dream to win the first with the camera I think they're worth it.
04:02I wouldn't say there are any regrets of course I believe in me on the first fomus you'll be like
04:08okay this has happened for me but I truly believe in God's plan.
04:12Whatever happens, it happens for a good cause.
04:14If he has given you this, he has also given you something else.
04:16And I feel the organisation and the audience does not treat us like first, second or third
04:21rather they treat us as a trio of the 60th Feminist India, somebody that people look up to,
04:28somebody who puts in that confidence in us that you know we can be the representation
04:33of an entire country. I think that matters the most.
04:42Well, I wouldn't say it's an added responsibility, I've always seen it as
04:45a responsibility of every single feminine, every individual to in any shape or form,
04:50small or big way to contribute to open society in whatever possible way that they can and I've
04:57been very closely working for women empowerment, children education and environment conservation
05:03and I started my NGO at the age of 15 and since then I've been working on numerous causes.
05:08One such cause apart from the children education that I hold very close to my heart is about
05:14women's health. I was born of a premature baby and I had a very thin chance of survival
05:20so I knew extensive care was given to my mom when I was born. So I realised the importance
05:26of receiving medical care first hand and I also acknowledge the fact that it's a privilege for
05:33somebody you know, everybody can access this. So our project is about providing medicinal kits
05:39to expecting and early or newly-born mothers so that they understand that how much important it
05:45is to feed yourself and to keep yourself healthy not just for the future of the children but also
05:50for the future of their spouse.
05:57Well, to the people of India, firstly I bow my head and I say that thank you so much for all
06:01the love and support that you have showered upon us on your own responsibility to be able to
06:06represent you and to everybody who's watching it, I will just say my only message is to always
06:12have an attitude for that day because our eyes might reach for the sky but our feet will always
06:17be on the ground because that's something that teaches you your values, your culture and till
06:21the time you know your culture only then you can represent it.
