00:29This is the Asus ZenBook 13 OLED.
00:32And like I said earlier, we're going to be putting this thing to the test.
00:35But first, let's take a closer look at the actual laptop.
00:38The ZenBook comes in this box.
00:40Pretty indicative of how sleek this laptop is because I feel like it's such a small box for a 13-inch laptop.
00:47The laptop comes with a carry sleeve.
00:49This actually looks pretty good, and I love how Asus includes this with their laptops.
00:53It also comes with a charging brick, this dongle, and an audio dongle.
00:59So, this is the Asus ZenBook 13 OLED.
01:02It features that classic Asus look, that spun metal design, and what I have here is the pine gray version.
01:09Now, I was surprised when I first saw this thing because I know that this is definitely a 13-inch laptop,
01:14but it felt like it was smaller.
01:16Maybe it's because it's thin, as thin as my moleskin.
01:19Maybe it's because it's light, like, it's really light.
01:23But yeah, it's definitely a sleek little thing,
01:25perfect for people like me who need machines who can handle what I do,
01:28but likes tinier things that I can carry and fit in my tinier bags.
01:32In true Asus fashion, it has an ErgoLift hinge, which is this thing,
01:36designed to give you a better typing position and improve audio and airflow.
01:40This is a 13.3-inch OLED HDR display,
01:44and those are some tiny bezels on the side with an IR camera up top for face unlock.
01:49And yes, that face unlock works quite well.
01:52Asus claims amazing color in this.
01:54True-to-life OLED colors, to be precise.
01:57And it does look good, and we're just looking at the wallpaper.
02:01Now, I know this is a betta fish because bettas are known to have vibrant colors.
02:06And guess what? I have a betta fish.
02:09So let's compare if it's true to life.
02:10This is my betta, and this is the laptop.
02:14I mean, no offense to my betta, it's pretty and all,
02:17but the laptop screen is actually looking even more vibrant than the actual fish.
02:23Technically, even better than true to life.
02:27Like I said, this laptop feels very sleek for a 13-inch laptop.
02:31The keyboard extends to the edges,
02:33but it still very much feels like a normal-sized keyboard that's comfortable for typing.
02:37I love how this is designed to be compact and yet without sacrificing comfort.
02:42Also, there are easy shortcuts for webcam, screen grab, or my Asus app.

02:49Another fun feature on this is the number pad,
02:52which is basically the trackpad turned into a calculator.
02:55Perfect for people who don't really do math well,
02:58who always needs a golden calculator to divide,
03:02or people who have to do math a lot.
03:05At the touch of a button, this trackpad turns into a number pad, and it's also lit up.
03:10You can also swipe around to get to calculator quick.
03:13It's pretty cool.
03:15Now, for people who love moving around,
03:17may it be traveling when we're finally allowed to,
03:20or just moving around in your house while you're working,
03:23also me,
03:24there are ports on this thing so you won't be living a dongle life.
03:27There's an HDMI port, two USB-C ports, a USB port, and a card reader.
03:33The Asus ZenBook 13 OLED, however, is best paired with wireless buds
03:37because there isn't an audio jack.
03:40So real quickly, these are the laptop specs.
03:43Translated to layman's terms for all of us mere mortals
03:46who don't really enjoy trying to decipher spec sheets,
03:51that just means that this is good for everyday use,
03:53word processing, internet browsing or research,
03:56conference calls, Excel work, light photo editing,
04:00this thing can do it.
04:01If you're a heavier user, though, and you have more intensive needs than this,
04:06I'd suggest looking at another laptop.
04:09And for the multitaskers out there,
04:11I also checked how well this will handle multitasking
04:14and did the combos that all of us usually do,
04:17Chrome plus Excel plus PowerPoint plus Word.
04:20You know, if we be working and vibing to a YouTube video.
04:25This is how it fared.
04:27And by the way, this comes with a Microsoft Home and Student License,
04:30so you good with the programs I just mentioned.
04:34And yes, those are Harman Kardon speakers.
04:37And finally, yes, most definitely,
04:39this is so good for watching videos with that OLED screen and those speakers.

04:49because I feel like we need it at this point, you guys.
05:04Since we all are working from home these days,
05:06let's check just how well this thing can do work from home stuff.

05:18and this is being shot by the laptop cameras.
05:22And you are hearing the audio from the laptop recorded via the mics
05:29from this laptop.
05:30So this is how you're going to sound and look to other people
05:34if you're on a call with them using this laptop.
05:38I also tried it on Skype.
05:39And though I couldn't find a way to record the call,
05:43this is how it looks like.

06:15then you have configured Skype correctly.
06:18One of the things that I love about this ZenBook
06:20is that it's so easy to use.

06:24is the MyASIS app.
06:25It just does so much.
06:27First off, it has AI noise cancellation for your calls,
06:32for your audio.
06:34So for example,
06:35so here we are using normal audio.
06:37I am in an air-conditioned room,
06:38so that's the humming you might be hearing.
06:40Meanwhile,
06:41and now we have the MyASIS AI noise cancellation on,
06:45so listen to that.
06:47No AC humming right now.
06:50What you just heard was a single presenter conference call.
06:52Now there are other things you can do here,
06:54like basic reception optimization,
06:56so that's sound from all directions,
06:59or multi-presenter conference call,
07:01which filters ambient noise,
07:03but lets other people talk,
07:05perfect for a multi-presenter conference call.
07:08Aside from that,
07:09you can also do AI noise cancelling on speaker,
07:11and it should filter out all sounds
07:14except human voices via the speakers.
07:17A bunch of other cool things are here,
07:19so ASUS OLED Care is here,
07:21which helps you not burn in your screen,
07:23and all other, well,
07:26things you can change around.
07:29You can also link your phone,
07:30whether it be an iPhone or an Android,
07:32to your laptop with the LinkMyASUS app.
07:35AirDrop, who you?
07:36This will allow you to transfer files
07:39across laptop and phone seamlessly.
07:42Wonders don't cease there, however,
07:44this also allows you to mirror
07:46what's on your phone to your laptop,
07:49so imagine going on apps like,
07:52I mean, TikTok,
07:53and you'll see everything on your laptop.
07:56Not that you'll use that for work,
07:58but I'm trying to prove a point here.

08:01you can also mirror your laptop to your phone,
08:03so for example, look at my cursor,
08:06and now it's on the phone.
