00:00Previously, on The Celebrity Apprentice.
00:03You'll be traveling to QVC in Pennsylvania.
00:07The task was to produce a live 10-minute segment.
00:10If I saw that ladder cart, I'd pull immediately.
00:12On Hydra, Mary Lou Henner took charge.
00:14That, to me, was the must-have item.
00:16While Lennox Lewis had trouble staying awake.
00:18Lennox had no sleep, and he has worked out the best way to avoid getting fired is to be unaccountable for anything.
00:25Meanwhile...
00:26Can I break the payments up over several months?
00:28Empresario's leader, Stephen Baldwin, made a crucial discovery.
00:32We have something called EasyPay.
00:33Really?
00:34And when Team Empresario went live...
00:36Do your thing!
00:37Host Trace Atkins was unflappable.
00:39I think the lack of energy is almost confidence.
00:41On Hydra...
00:42This was such a must-have for me. I said, I have to go on there and sell it.
00:45Mary Lou showed incredible passion for her product.
00:48She's got great enthusiasm, but she's talking a lot.
00:50And in the boardroom...
00:51You were very enthusiastic, but you sold less units and for less money.
00:55It was a victory for Team Empresario.
00:57I congratulate all of you.
00:58And as you know, Stephen, you're going to get $20,000 additional for your charity.
01:03You're doing very well, Stephen.
01:04Leaving Hydra to face Mr. Trump.
01:06Who would you fire, Pierce?
01:07Sleepy Boy.
01:08And Pierce went after Lennox.
01:10Lennox, when he's had sleep, is great. And when he hasn't, he doesn't contribute very much.
01:15But it was Mary Lou's overzealousness that got the best of her.
01:18Let's put it this way.
01:19Who would you fire, Mary?
01:20Stop talking so much. I think that's why you lost. You talk too much.
01:24And it hurts me to say this, but Mary Lou, you're fired.
01:28LENNOX
01:40Hang on. Did everybody see Pierce sweating in there?
01:42Oh, no!
01:43Oh, Sleepy Boy is back!
01:44Sleepy Boy is back.
01:49Can you believe that? I did nothing.
01:51It was silly. I don't even know. I didn't understand what they were talking about.
01:55I was sleeping.
01:56Lennox may not like being called Sleepy Boy, but that's exactly what I would rename him if he was fighting tomorrow.
02:01Sleepy Boy Lewis.
02:03I can't believe you threw Lennox under the bus like that, dude.
02:05Nah, don't worry about it.
02:06He was throwing you under the bus.
02:08I think he got some tire marks on you.
02:12Lennox spent the entire day trying to position himself in a way that he wouldn't get blamed.
02:16And he does that well, but I'm on his case.
02:19I'm not apologizing, if that's what you think.
02:21No, when I say I apologize, I just can't believe you did that.
02:23Why?
02:24Leave it in the boardroom. This is our team here.
02:26It's the boardroom. It's done. It's over.
02:29Where are you going?
02:32Piers wants to win at all costs. It doesn't matter what he does.
02:35This is war for him. He doesn't care.
02:38The main thing for him to do is win.
02:54Money, money, money, money.
02:58Money.
02:59Some people got to have it.
03:04Some people really need it.
03:08Listen to me, y'all.
03:09Do things, do things, do things, bad things with it.
03:16Dollar bills, y'all.
03:17Come on.
03:18Money, money, money, money.
03:25All my desire.
03:27I don't know that money.
03:31Give me a nickel, brother. Can you spell that?
03:36Money can drive some people out of their mind.
03:43No good, no good.
03:45Money, money, money, money.
04:05Hello?
04:06Is this Carol Baldwin?
04:08This is Carol. Luca Martino Baldwin.
04:12Yeah. Do you know who this is?
04:14Who is it? The Flea.
04:17The Flea, right. That's my nickname.
04:20Well, guess what, honey?
04:22I'm here for my mom and her organization,
04:24the Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.
04:27My mom's a crusader for breast cancer.
04:29She's a survivor of about 12 years,
04:31and for me, this is personal,
04:33and that's why I'm taking it so seriously.
04:35Remember when you came to New York
04:37and I gave you a little something from the Donald?
04:41Oh, yeah, I didn't send the Donald a thank you note,
04:45but I will.
04:46Okay, well, you might have to send him another one.
04:49How come?
04:50Because I have a check in my hand again.
04:54Oh, that's wonderful.
04:56We won another $20,000.
05:00That is awesome, awesome.
05:02You helping and the Donald helping,
05:05we will find something to stop breast cancer.
05:08We will.
05:09That's right, that's right, Ma.
05:11Having the title as two-time victor as a project manager,
05:15yes, it's cool, and if push comes to shove in the future
05:18and I gotta wield that title here and there
05:21just to kind of psych some people out,
05:23oh, yeah, I'll throw that sucker if I have to.
05:27Tell the Donald I love him
05:30and thank him so much for helping me.
05:33I will, honey. Love ya.
05:35Love you.
05:36God bless.
05:38Pretty good, brother.
05:59Good morning.
06:00Morning.
06:01We're standing in the lobby of Hearst Tower,
06:04a wonderful, beautiful, brand-new building,
06:07and it's going to be a landmark in New York City.
06:10You are going to be doing something
06:12that is very, very interesting.
06:15Dial Soap, a soap I happen to use,
06:18is doing an ad campaign.
06:20The ad campaign is going to run in the pages of Redbook magazine.
06:25We have our executive from Redbook.
06:28Stacy Morrison, editor of Redbook.
06:30And we have our executives from Dial.
06:32Scott Moffitt, vice president, general manager.
06:34And my name is Doug Weeks.
06:35I'm the vice president of marketing for the company.
06:37And the task.
06:38Your objective for today
06:40is to create a 4-page photo essay or photo layout.
06:43It's going to promote our newest product,
06:46Dial Nourishing Yogurt Body Wash.
06:48It will be judged by the three of us
06:50based on three criteria,
06:52creativity, integration of the brand,
06:54and overall message and content.
06:56Each of you will be given a photographer
06:59and a full photo studio to complete your task.
07:02The winning project manager will get $20,000
07:05for his or her favorite charity.
07:08Let's pick your project managers right now.
07:11I only caution you,
07:12project managers have a pretty good chance of being fired.
07:15Although, in this particular series,
07:18that hasn't happened very much.
07:19But project managers, you really are on the line.
07:22So I especially caution women,
07:24because the women, as you probably have noticed,
07:27have been decimated.
07:28They started off even at Omarosa.
07:31So, Empresario,
07:33who is going to be your project manager?
07:36I was just PM like a week ago.
07:38Hold on, Trace, you cool with Tito?
07:40Are you?
07:41If you want it.
07:42That's fine.
07:43Yeah, I'll support you.
07:45I will, sir.
07:46Tito?
07:47Yes, sir.
07:48Wow, for Dial Soap.
07:49Yes.
07:50Okay, Hydra, who's your project manager?
07:53Carol.
07:54Carol, despite what I just said...
07:55I feel it's best for me to step forward
07:57because I've been in this world a long time.
07:59Everything about my career
08:00makes this handcrafted for me as a PM manager.
08:03I've been on the cover of Red Book five times.
08:07If I don't take this job,
08:08I would expect someone to fire me for being a chicken.
08:11Well, I don't want to be ridiculed
08:13because there are no women left, okay?
08:15Mr. Trump, the one thing you know as well as anybody,
08:17you don't get fired if you win.
08:19Well, you think you're gonna win?
08:20Absolutely.
08:21Okay.
08:22George and Ivanka, they'll be my eyes and ears.
08:25Good luck.
08:26It's going to be very interesting.
08:28In the end, someone from the losing team will be fired.
08:33Thank you, sir.
08:38Hi, good to see you.
08:39Carol's the boss.
08:40Oh, you're the team leader?
08:42Yes, I am.
08:43All right.
08:44I have found in all of these tasks,
08:46you can make a mistake right off the bat
08:49and go off in a way different direction,
08:51so the meeting with the executive
08:54is the most important meeting.
08:56You're creating a photo essay advertorial
08:59that supports both of our core brand values.
09:02What I'll be looking at is,
09:04are you capturing who our Redbook reader is?
09:07Are you speaking to her?
09:09Have you changed demographics at all?
09:11It used to be an older demographic.
09:12The average age of our reader is 37.
09:1437.
09:15How racy could we be before we cross a line with Dial?
09:18I don't think we have a list of things that we won't do,
09:22but I think taste and good judgment are always important.
09:26Thank you very much.
09:27It was quite obvious what they wanted.
09:29We're talking about, you know, women in their 30s
09:31who've had lots of sex.
09:33You know about all this stuff, don't you?
09:35Mm-hmm.
09:36This could have been scripted for you.
09:37That's why I had to step forward.
09:39I think we keep it very simple,
09:42very sexy, very beautiful.
09:44We need to tell a story with a woman.
09:46We need to tell a whole story with a woman,
09:47and I think we should do well-rounded things in her life.
09:50So we have to think about family.
09:51Exactly what I'm thinking.
09:53So there's one page.
09:54Maybe it's a baby's hand holding her hand.
09:57Then the next page can be her in her bathtub,
10:00and then it's in the evening, her and her man.
10:02She's buying homes, having babies, getting married,
10:05and having great sex with her husband.
10:07Every aspect of her life.
10:08I think it's four great moments in a woman's life.
10:11I think the last one has to be pure sex.
10:14Things are looking good.
10:16Piers is letting people talk and interject and ask questions,
10:19and he's not rabbiting on.
10:20He doesn't have diarrhea of the mouth anymore.
10:23I think we're onto something here.
10:24We are, man, we are.
10:25I like it.
10:26Okay, let's boogie.
10:31Hello.
10:32How are you?
10:33Hi, Stacy Morrison.
10:34I'm Tito Ortiz.
10:35Pleasure.
10:36Great to meet you, Tito.
10:37Rosa.
10:38Pleasure to meet you.
10:39This task was very difficult
10:40because we weren't just catering to the execs from Dial.
10:42We had to also appeal to the executives at Redbook,
10:45think about their demographic,
10:47and incorporate that into our ad.
10:49So, for starters, the Dial brand.
10:51Dial is known for healthy skin.
10:54It's trusted.
10:56It's an all-family brand.
10:58It is straightforward and honest.
11:01Redbook is actually 104 years old,
11:03and the thing that's very special and unique about Redbook,
11:06we have a very deep connection to the middle of the country,
11:10and they love you.
11:12Country Weekly may be the only magazine
11:14that uses more country artists on the cover than you do.
11:17Do you love us for that?
11:19I do.
11:20Except for the fact that you haven't called me.
11:23Not yet.
11:24You called that an ugly Tim McGraw, you idiot.
11:27He's just kidding.
11:29He's just kidding.
11:30The gal from Redbook really was articulate in our meeting
11:33about how the audience of women that are Redbook
11:36love Trace Atkins.
11:40I think we're using you in the ad again, bro.
11:42No way.
11:43Come on, honky-tonk-a-donk-a-donk, bro.
11:46I could just photos of you in a bathtub with your cowboy hat on
11:49and chicks just squirting Dial yogurt all over you, bro.
11:52Wow!
11:54That's good.
11:56You with your guitar with your boots sticking out, bro.
11:59Look at him, he's turning red!
12:01He's turning red!
12:05Trace is gonna be like a commercial star and a TV star
12:08and a supermodel by the time this is all over.
12:11God bless him.
12:13Is it gonna be a bubble bath?
12:17Honky-tonk-a-donk-a-donk.
12:21Coming up...
12:22It is absolutely obvious to me that we should use Carol for our images.
12:27That puts many hats on my head.
12:29I know.
12:30The project manager most likely will be fired.
12:32I was totally against it.
12:33And later...
12:34Trace, you're gonna be an awesome model right now.
12:36You're gonna take your shirt off.
12:38You want me in this with these two dudes?
12:40Get the f*** out of here, man.
12:42Come on!
12:55Hi, how you doing?
12:56Bob, hey, it's Carol Holt. Nice to see you.
12:59This is our photographer.
13:01The task was to do a four-page advertorial
13:05that would incorporate dial, yogurt, natural body wash and Redbook.
13:10The target range is 20 to 50 with an emphasis on 37.
13:14Do you know how young the models are?
13:16Young 20s.
13:17Yeah, you see, this is what I thought. They're too young, I think.
13:19To me, it is absolutely obvious to me that we should use Carol as the frontwoman for our images.
13:26When Pierce mentioned that he thought I should be the model,
13:29I was totally against it because Donald said,
13:31well, the project manager most likely will be fired.
13:34I didn't want modeling to interfere with my PM shift.
13:38What do you think?
13:39That puts many hats on my head.
13:41I know.
13:53How you doing?
13:54Nice to meet you.
13:55What's your name?
13:56Alex DeSubra.
13:57Hi, Alex, how are you? Tito Ortiz.
13:58You're a photographer.
13:59I'm a photographer, yeah, hey.
14:00The project manager is supposed to be Tito Ortiz,
14:03but Tito needs lots of help, lots of guidance.
14:07So the concept that we need to come with is...
14:12The concept is that we're going with a product that's good for you and healthy and natural,
14:17and we're going to set that in an environment of country and cowboy and cowgirl.
14:24Work for you, Trace Atkins?
14:25Yep, that works for me.
14:27Thumbs up for Lady O.
14:29Stephen is really driving this ship,
14:32but the guys have won with all of these off-the-wall, bizarre, strange concepts.
14:38So I'm going to let them continue to do what they usually do, which is win.
14:43All right, here we go, guys.
14:44Everybody look to the camera.
14:47Rotate yourself this way.
14:49I have an innate understanding of how the camera sees things.
14:53That's gorgeous, man.
14:55That's gorgeous, man.
14:56See that last one, look at that.
14:58Wow.
14:59And I've always been told I've got a great mindset for advertising.
15:03Beautiful.
15:04And I've had people say to me I could run a studio in Hollywood, just because of the way I think.
15:10Trace, your thoughts?
15:11Daddy likey.
15:13This is not fair being on a team of all men.
15:16Sing her a song, Hoss.
15:17Tito was letting me roll and do my thing, because in the end it was all an effort that was for the team.
15:22Beautiful, I'm loving this.
15:25I freaking love it, dude.
15:27That's the shot.
15:33We could put one of the girls into the tub and just shoot it from the back and see her reading papers in the tub.
15:38It should be you.
15:39You sure?
15:40Yes.
15:41Carol was hesitant about being the model, but the idea we'd use a very young model of 20 to appeal to the core audience of Red Book, ridiculous.
15:49Do you want to be in a position where we lose this?
15:53Because we didn't use a supermodel.
15:55I just needed you to convince me.
15:57Because when I get in the boardroom tomorrow and they say, why did you step up for PM when I told you that there's only two women left and you're going to make me look bad?
16:03I'm going to say, I rose to the challenge.
16:06Exactly.
16:07You need to get made up.
16:08Right, we need all our people in here.
16:10Okay, crew's coming.
16:11All right.
16:16It's a little softness around the face, but pretty much pulled back.
16:22All the pressure in the world is on me as project manager in this because this is my world and this is what I've done.
16:35So if any mistakes are made, it's me.
16:37It's absolutely me and I can't pass the buck.
16:52Tito, I think she might have an idea.
16:54I don't know if it's a good one.
16:56This is catering to 99.9% women.
17:00So here's my idea.
17:02What you have is Trace with his shirt off, models as well, just to have it and just play a bit.
17:09Guys, can I see you all for just a moment?
17:12This is the best job ever.
17:15I have tried really hard to keep the team focused on the fact that this is appealing to women.
17:23Women want to see hot men.
17:25They want to have this fantasy.
17:28Trace, we need you.
17:30You're going to be an awesome model right now.
17:32You're going to take your shirt off.
17:33You want me in this with these two dudes?
17:37Get the **** out of here, man.
17:40I've got the tan of a vampire at this point.
17:43I pretty much look like a cadaver right now.
17:46And it's not going to look good naked.
17:48Oh, Lord.
17:50Shut up.
17:53This is for all you sophisticated ladies out there.
17:56Right on.
17:58You got it.
18:03Right there.
18:04Perfect.
18:05Hallelujah.
18:09Perfect, bro.
18:13Cool.
18:18Cheers.
18:19I love it.
18:20This is making all the girls smile, so we're doing something right.
18:22Getting all giddy for no reason.
18:25This is all for charity there, Trace.
18:27Hallelujah.
18:29It's phenomenal.
18:30That's hot.
18:31So that was my creative contribution.
18:33There it is.
18:34Look at that, guys.
18:35I think we got it.
18:36Yeah, I think we got it.
18:37Way to go, boys.
18:38Trace, you little stud muffin.
18:40Whoa.
18:42Hi, Ivanka.
18:43Hi.
18:44How's it going?
18:45So what are you all doing here?
18:46We went country.
18:47I can see that.
18:48I can see that.
18:49Ooh.
18:50That I'm shocked by.
18:51That was just messing around.
18:53Empress Ariel was doing the country theme.
18:57The visuals do look good.
18:59Trace is in the shot.
19:01But let's see how that plays with the dial executives.
19:04Well, good luck, guys.
19:05I look forward to seeing the rest of it come together.
19:07All right, thank you.
19:08Thanks for coming by.
19:09Good to see you today.
19:10Enjoy.
19:11Good to see you.
19:12I believe we are done with the models.
19:14Yes, we are.
19:15Good job, everybody.
19:16We couldn't have done it without you.
19:18Awesome.
19:19Yes, thank you.
19:20Thank you so much.
19:21Beautiful shots.
19:29Does that baby look real life to you?
19:31Yeah.
19:32Yeah, the back of the head looks great.
19:34Oh, perfect.
19:35Yeah.
19:36Well, Lennox had the job of art director,
19:38as he likes to call it.
19:40Lennox has had a good night's sleep,
19:41so he's definitely a bit perkier.
19:47Slowly turn your lips around to the baby.
19:49Oh, that's perfect.
19:50Yeah, I like that.
19:51Beautiful.
19:53Yeah, that's it.
19:54That's it.
19:55That's the one I like.
19:56He's changed dramatically, and he's quite transparent.
19:58He now believes that he's got within sniffing distance
20:01of victory, and so it's time to get into fight mode.
20:05And that's fine.
20:06That's enough.
20:07That's enough.
20:09Oh, look at that.
20:10Yeah.
20:11That's it.
20:12That's beautiful.
20:13Yes, we did it.
20:14This is the kind of image, okay?
20:15Hop in the bed, please.
20:18The guy's going to be coming from this angle.
20:22We pressed the executives on how sexy we should get with this,
20:25and they were like, well, don't overdo it.
20:27A little bit of suggestion that Red Book girls
20:30like to have sex, not a problem at all.
20:33Okay, it's working.
20:37Nice.
20:38Someone is getting into it.
20:40Yeah, baby.
20:41You sure I shouldn't be in this, Carol?
20:46Look at that picture.
20:47Oh, go back one.
20:49That's the money shot, baby.
20:50We got the money shot already.
20:53There's only one word for that photo shoot.
20:55Wow.
20:56They've got Omarosa, and we've got Carol Ort.
21:00Not a fair fight, really, is it?
21:02Don, get in here.
21:03You're just coming behind like you want to get some, too.
21:06No.
21:07No.
21:09No.
21:10I don't know what you're used to, man.
21:14Woo!
21:18I think the first image has to really be a wow.
21:22Let me just tell you something.
21:24That's wow.
21:25That's wow for you.
21:26It doesn't do jack for me,
21:28and I'm the demographic that's reading this magazine.
21:31You don't think that's a beautiful woman?
21:33She all right,
21:34I'm not tuning into the magazine to look at her.
21:36I want to see Trace with his shirt off.
21:38The shot of Trace with the two male models
21:40is the type of shot that the Redbook reader wants to see.
21:44Every woman in that room swooned
21:46as soon as he took his shirt off and stepped up there to pose.
21:51I think Trace being shirtless is awesome.
21:53I really do.
21:54How often does Redbook like that type of an image
21:58in their magazine?
21:59I'm just saying, I think it's a risk,
22:01and I'd rather play it safe.
22:04Trying to lead Omarosa and Steven is really hard.
22:07She's kind of like a diva, controlling, bossy,
22:10and it's her way,
22:11and Steven is a verbal bully who is very overbearing.
22:15But then I end up having the last say no matter what
22:17because I am project manager.
22:19The last call is mine.
22:20Here's the four words that came out of the mouth
22:23of the Dial executive.
22:24Clean, healthy, trusted family.
22:29Tito, if the other team goes wholesome and family,
22:32and they win, we were wrong.
22:58Good morning.
22:59Morning.
23:00Hello.
23:01We met you guys,
23:02and we listened hard to your readership demographic
23:05of Redbook magazine.
23:07We thought long and hard about who we could get to front this.
23:12You asked us to delight and surprise.
23:14We believe you will be most delighted by our choice
23:17of front woman for Dial.
23:22There she is, Mr. Trump.
23:24Miss Carol Ault.
23:26And I would argue that the celebrities,
23:28when they fit the brand perfectly,
23:30sell like a dream.
23:32This is the first page of our four-page advertorial.
23:36We've come up with a slogan for you.
23:38Good for me, great for my skin,
23:40because it implies health,
23:42which you're getting from the yogurt,
23:43which obviously is the main point of this thing.
23:46Why yogurt?
23:47The question you're going to ask.
23:49You turn the page, and you find out.
23:52The yogurt facts here.
23:54You've got to tell the reader what they're getting here.
23:56That's the detail.
23:58There's Carol at the end of this busy day,
24:00lying in her luxurious bath,
24:02making her feel radiant and relaxed.
24:06All this is great.
24:07It's touched every moment of her life,
24:09but there's one she really wants it to touch.
24:13Her man.
24:14Because, you know, ultimately, it's great.
24:16Is he biting her?
24:17It looks like he's biting her.
24:19He's just, you know, he's so entranced
24:21by the aroma and the feel of her skin
24:24that he could literally eat her.
24:26In conclusion, we think if you put that in Red Book,
24:29you would have a fantastic response
24:31from Red Book readers to this.
24:33Okay.
24:35Thanks very much.
24:37Good job.
24:38Okay, next, empresario.
24:48Don't fight him.
24:49Do not fight him.
24:50Morning.
24:51Okay, go ahead.
24:53Women's lives are hectic.
24:55They have to find time to balance work and home.
24:59How do you incorporate a beauty product
25:01that can help combat dehydration, dry skin, itchy skin?
25:06Women have to find ways to do this,
25:09and we found a product that can help.
25:12So we're going to go over our pitch
25:14of Dial Yogurt-based...
25:18Body wash.
25:19Body wash with aloe vera,
25:21and of course, we'll continue on.
25:23One of the things we always try to get across, actually,
25:27was kind of a country, desert,
25:30kind of a country-desert feeling to it.
25:33Reason why is that's when the skin's the driest.
25:36And then you can see, as our model
25:38has beautiful, glowing skin,
25:40naturally, beautiful skin has no boundaries,
25:42and the boundaries, as you can see from the horizon,
25:45it keeps going and going and going.
25:49I got a really hot shot of Trace,
25:52but it didn't make the cut.
25:54If we lose, the responsibility will fall on Tito.
25:57The project manager just completely did not deliver.
26:01Of course, we used Trace.
26:03The reason why we used Trace,
26:04because the demographics that we did have
26:06were from ladies ranging from the age of 20,
26:09or excuse me, 30 to 59,
26:11which most country folk ladies that would love Trace
26:16to kind of push the product exactly.
26:19We also wanted to be conscious that it was uniform
26:22to the Red Book magazine,
26:24not do something that was way too outside the box
26:27that wouldn't conform with Red Book.
26:29So finally, the body wash that you've been dreaming of,
26:34Dial.
26:35It's the natural choice.
26:37It is the natural choice.
26:39Very good job.
26:40Thank you all. We enjoyed ourselves.
26:42Until next time when we see it in the magazine.
26:44Thank you very much.
26:46Thanks.
26:47Thank you very much.
26:48How'd you like Hydra?
26:50I felt that they had a message that was very warm
26:54and was about a woman's whole life,
26:57and those are certainly things
26:59that are very important to Red Book readers.
27:01Doug?
27:02I thought they also did a very, very nice job
27:04of answering the question,
27:05why buy a body wash with yogurt?
27:06I thought they did that,
27:07and they integrated it in a manner that felt sensual,
27:10but not over-the-top sensual.
27:11I liked that.
27:12What didn't you like about Hydra?
27:14I wasn't sure I loved the last image,
27:17the image in bed.
27:19The biting?
27:20Yeah, it was a little provocative,
27:22attention-getting, but I thought unnecessary.
27:25So what did you think in terms of Impresario?
27:28Better job, not such a good job?
27:30Tell me, what did you think?
27:31I thought the photographs for Impresario were beautiful.
27:34I mean, it definitely was
27:35a very highly produced environment,
27:37and it took me somewhere else.
27:38It's similar, I think, that they did a nice job
27:40of showing the contrast of why you have dry skin
27:43and why this product can help address that.
27:45Yeah, they used an outdoor dry setting
27:48as a metaphor for dry skin.
27:50I didn't think that worked all that effectively.
27:52And I felt there wasn't really a consistent message.
27:55I didn't think the text really worked together.
27:57It didn't have a consistent thread.
27:59All right, but you liked both.
28:01Tell me, who did you like more?
28:14♪
28:33Tito, how do you think you did?
28:35I think we did very well.
28:37I think we got our point across,
28:39and we sold Dow the way that the United States
28:42wants to see Dow of the new yogurt product they're selling.
28:48You know the thing that surprised me?
28:49Yes, sir.
28:50I've watched you fight many times,
28:52and you don't look nervous.
28:53You get in the ring, and you just rip somebody apart.
28:55You don't look nervous.
28:56Yes, sir.
28:57But you looked very nervous at that presentation.
28:59Well, I just want to make sure that I, you know,
29:01represent Team Impresario the right way,
29:03and, of course, you make me a little nervous
29:05because I want to be perfect on everything I do in front of you.
29:08Okay, Carol, how do you think you did?
29:10I'm very confident we did very well.
29:12Why do you think?
29:13Well, because I think we hit the demographics
29:15that Red Book has,
29:16and that is obviously the demographics that Dial is looking for
29:19because they're in that magazine.
29:21And I believe that we delivered
29:23a clean, fresh, and sensational presentation.
29:27I warned you not to be project manager.
29:29Yes, Mr. Trump, but I would rather be fired
29:31by standing up to a challenge than running away from one.
29:33That's a good line of crap.
29:35Yeah, I like it.
29:36If it was crap, I wouldn't have stood up, but I did.
29:40I was a little bit curious.
29:42The photo of the guy on your back biting you,
29:47or it looked like biting.
29:48I don't know. Was that supposed to be a biting?
29:50A playful bite.
29:51No, no, but was that supposed to be a biting picture?
29:53It was a playful bite.
29:54You're spun over, and he's standing on top.
29:56Tito's going crazy. He's listening to this
29:57because he gets bitten all the time in the ring,
29:59and he doesn't ever...
30:00Never.
30:01But can I ask you a question?
30:03It was... I was really surprised.
30:05Do you think that was good?
30:07I think we pushed the envelope a bit,
30:09but it was interesting,
30:10and it definitely surprised them and delighted them.
30:13Now, have you seen each other's campaign?
30:15No.
30:16I'd like to show it.
30:17Ivanka, would you give to Carol and to Tito
30:19the opposite campaigns, please?
30:21George, thank you.
30:23These are the campaigns that your competing team did.
30:27Study them. Take your time.
30:29I'd like to know what you think.
30:31And Tito, you see what I'm talking about
30:33with that one picture?
30:34Well, we had actually a kind of similar thing.
30:36We had Trace actually with his T-shirt off
30:38and him holding bottles,
30:39and we didn't want to take that step of going forward.
30:41We thought it was getting a little too risky.
30:43Now, for the women,
30:44does Trace look good with his T-shirt off?
30:46He actually looks for his age.
30:47Not only for the women.
30:48Hey!
30:49Yes!
30:50For a man to say that, and I train all the time,
30:52and, you know, for...
30:53But why didn't you do it?
30:54Because I think we're really going a little risqué
30:57for that type of magazine.
30:58You think so, though?
30:59No.
31:00If Trace...
31:01You say he looks good without the T-shirt.
31:03The women will like that,
31:04and some men will like that, Trace, okay?
31:06There are some men out there
31:07that will like that, too, Trace.
31:09Okay, Piers.
31:10What do you think of the ad?
31:12I think it's boring, amateurish,
31:15and does not hit the right demographic.
31:17Other than that, you liked it.
31:19Other than that, well, I love Trace,
31:20but I just don't think I'd use him as the...
31:22I mean, compared to our guy, who's...
31:23Why would you not use Trace?
31:25I could see using Trace.
31:26He's, hey, 23 hit singles.
31:28I would say Trace is very good.
31:30Well, I don't...
31:31Or you could have used Omarosa.
31:32What about using Omarosa?
31:33I don't...
31:34Do you think Omarosa
31:35would have been better than Trace?
31:36Only in a graveyard scene.
31:39Mr. Trump,
31:40the executive from Redbook
31:41even said the words in our meeting,
31:43Trace, you are perfect to our demographic.
31:46A lot of our people will like that.
31:48Is that why you did it?
31:49Well, it was a big part of it, sure.
31:52Omarosa, what do you think of their ad?
31:55The biting is a bit edgy for men.
31:57It's not biting, anyway.
31:58It's nibbling.
32:01What do you think?
32:02I think it's great,
32:03but we wanted to do something creatively
32:05that was more original, Mr. Trump.
32:06We wanted to create something
32:07that was a little more interesting,
32:09more edgy,
32:10but you're probably not more edgy
32:12because they do the biting picture,
32:13and that's pretty edgy.
32:14Actually, the biggest thing
32:15was telling the story
32:16that we were trying to tell.
32:17Right, the photo essay part of it.
32:18Photo essay.
32:19But the thing is...
32:20Am I missing something?
32:21What is the story here
32:22other than a woman lies in a bath
32:23and Trace sings a song to her?
32:24You can read English, can't you?
32:25What's the story?
32:26You can read English, can't you?
32:27It's too small to read.
32:28I can't read anything.
32:29It's tiny.
32:30I mean, it's from
32:31a pure professional point of view.
32:32Do you have your specs?
32:33I was a newspaper editor for 10 years.
32:34Do you have your specs?
32:35This would not pass first base.
32:36Do you have your specs?
32:37This is journalistic amateur art,
32:38so...
32:39Where's your specs?
32:40I merely observe you professionally
32:41as amateurish.
32:42Pierce, where's your specs, mate?
32:43I don't get the story
32:44because I can't read it.
32:45Put on your specs.
32:46I mean, this bit here,
32:47country something something.
32:48Put on your specs, mate.
32:49Unreadable, mate.
32:52Okay, Trace,
32:53what do you think of their ad?
32:55Ah, well, Carol's a stunning woman.
32:58No, it's a great-looking shot, right?
32:59Yeah, that is a great-looking shot.
33:00I mean, I love the first shot.
33:01I'm not sure I like the rest of it too much,
33:03but I like the first shot.
33:04Yeah.
33:05You see, what I like doesn't matter.
33:07Yes, that's right.
33:08Because it doesn't matter.
33:09I knew this was coming.
33:10I sort of like theirs,
33:11I like yours,
33:12and she said, here it comes.
33:13But what I like didn't matter.
33:15But I can tell you
33:17that the executives thought
33:20that the ad done by Pierce
33:23and Carol and Lennox was fantastic,
33:26and therefore the winner is Hydra.
33:32So, Carol, you're the project manager.
33:34Yes, sir.
33:35Your charity is going to get another $20,000.
33:38You're doing very well.
33:39Again, the charity?
33:40The Tony Ault Memorial Foundation, Inc.
33:42is the exact title.
33:43And this time you didn't cry.
33:44I didn't cry.
33:45Okay, great job.
33:46Taffy.com.
33:47You really did a good job.
33:48Get the hell out of here.
33:49Thank you, sir.
33:50Thank you very much.
33:52Thank you, George.
33:53They really thought it was fantastic.
33:55One, two, three.
33:56Hydra!
33:59I'm sure that makes you feel good.
34:01This is the dream team.
34:03I know, I can feel it.
34:04I've never had any doubt we win today.
34:06This is the best performance we've had so far,
34:08and there's three of us.
34:09Three!
34:10Here we go, it's on.
34:11Do you think a woman should have been
34:13project manager of this task?
34:14I mean, this is a tough one.
34:15You're a fighter.
34:16You make a lot of money fighting,
34:17physically fighting.
34:18We all fight.
34:19My life is a big fight.
34:20I really think you're 100% correct.
34:22Actually, when we first found out
34:23we were going to have a task,
34:24Omarosa was like,
34:25I'll do it, I'll do it, I'll do it.
34:26I wanted it.
34:28And then when it came down to the decision,
34:29then they pushed it on me.
34:30Who pushed it on you?
34:32You said, Tito, you should be.
34:33You did not say that?
34:34Tito, you looked at me.
34:35Don't lie, come on.
34:36I looked at you.
34:37Come on, this is television,
34:38it's cool, don't lie.
34:39And you said, Tito,
34:40I stepped up immediately
34:41and said I wanted this.
34:43You did not say you should do it.
34:44Go ahead and roll your eyes.
34:45I don't ever pass off
34:46my responsibility.
34:48You said, I'll take it.
34:49Why do you keep looking down for her?
34:51Tito, don't try to intimidate me.
34:53I'm not trying to intimidate you.
34:54I'm not one of your opponents.
34:56I stepped up and said I wanted this.
34:58Because my charity has yet to win money.
35:01Excuse me, but in the end,
35:02which is the only time that counts,
35:04did you also sort of push it on Tito?
35:06You know, we went back and forth.
35:07No, no, but did you push it on Tito?
35:09I did surrender to his decision.
35:11But don't you have the marketing background?
35:13I heard you say that a number of times.
35:14Absolutely, and I said that
35:15it's happened to production.
35:16This is as much a marketing task
35:18as you could possibly have.
35:19Why didn't you step up and do it?
35:20And what we've learned in the past
35:21is sometimes the project manager
35:23gets bogged down with all the other
35:25responsibilities that they have managing this,
35:27and they don't get to focus on the actual project.
35:30But on a personal note,
35:32you can't really win money for your charity
35:34unless you're the project manager,
35:35other than the end result, which is the big money.
35:38She's toast.
35:39I don't know how I'm going to cope with this.
35:42How did you do previously as project manager?
35:45I'm zero and two, and I want to win.
35:48I want to be PM.
35:49I may have to leave the room.
35:50It may get too emotional.
35:53Kick her out.
36:01The first thing I did with Tito
36:03is to sit him down and help him understand
36:05the background positioning for Redbook.
36:08They have a mature audience.
36:10These are women who've made it.
36:11They have families.
36:12They want to learn about fashion.
36:13They want to travel.
36:14They want to learn about health issues.
36:16It seems to me, though,
36:17that you're concentrating so much on Redbook
36:19when it's a dial product.
36:21There was no concept.
36:22There was no concept.
36:23Well, why wasn't there a concept?
36:27Whose fault is it that there was no concept?
36:29That's a big statement, there's no concept.
36:30Well, there's two people that I would focus on.
36:32Who?
36:33Tito and Stephen.
36:34Stephen was picking up the slack for Tito.
36:36He was technically the project manager.
36:38Is that good or bad?
36:39That's not correct.
36:40It's a bad thing.
36:41Well, Stephen, what do you think of that?
36:42Mr. Trump, I thought the team
36:43did its very best to work together.
36:45But after looking at that ad, their ad was better.
36:47Do you agree with that?
36:48But it was different.
36:50But don't you think it was better?
36:52We made a call conceptually.
36:53We were wrong.
36:54Okay, it doesn't matter.
36:55We were wrong.
36:56You called it wrong.
36:57Trace, you've been a quiet star.
37:00And you've done really well.
37:02If you were me, who would you fire?
37:06I would have to say that
37:08I will stick up a little bit for Omarosa.
37:11She made suggestions, too, that nobody listened.
37:14And I think for that very reason,
37:17and I love the man to death,
37:19but I would have to say Tito was responsible
37:21because he did let Stephen take charge of this.
37:24And did Stephen not do a good job?
37:26No, Stephen did.
37:27Stephen did.
37:28You know what's beautiful about Stephen
37:30is when he has a target, he focuses in on that.
37:33And you almost have to just break his concentration
37:36physically to get him to listen
37:38to what you're trying to say to him.
37:40And he's always been very overbearing.
37:42But I'm not a person here to be...
37:44Is he overbearing?
37:45Of course, without a doubt.
37:46He's a much different guy than I thought.
37:48He's a strong guy.
37:49If he believes that Stephen Baldwin was overbearing,
37:52he's gone, he's dead.
37:54He's toast.
37:55Omarosa, what were the ideas you had that weren't used?
37:58One of my ideas was the male models
38:00that we used as a backdrop.
38:02And with Trace with his shirt off and a guitar.
38:04I thought it was edgy.
38:05I thought it was creative.
38:06I thought it would have been more edgy.
38:08Why wasn't that done, Tito?
38:10That could have been very good.
38:11Well, Stephen pretty much shut that down
38:14But you're the project manager.
38:18Omarosa, who should be fired?
38:21In your opinion?
38:23I'd have to say Tito.
38:26But it was Stephen's idea
38:28to have Trace be, like, boring.
38:31And I say that in all due respect, Trace,
38:32because you would have been more exciting.
38:34From what I hear,
38:35I mean, you wouldn't have excited me too much,
38:37but you would have excited some women, maybe.
38:39Omarosa wasn't excited about that picture.
38:42Without the shirt.
38:43Yes, sir.
38:44How would you have felt doing it without the shirt?
38:46I was a little uncomfortable.
38:48I've been in this cave now for several weeks.
38:51I wanted that picture also.
38:52And I kept saying, let's do it, let's do it.
38:53And I'm also pleased in my defense.
38:54Did I say, let's do it, let's do it?
38:55You did, and you actually put it in the layout.
38:57So why wasn't it done?
38:58Stephen was adamant against it.
39:00Over and over, he said, I do not want it.
39:02We should play it safe.
39:03Let's be conservative.
39:04Once again, I'm not gonna fight with Stephen over it.
39:06Would the shirt off really made any difference at all?
39:08It would have made a difference.
39:09This is a woman's magazine, Stephen.
39:10You know, Stephen, it might have made a difference.
39:11Honestly, it might have made a difference.
39:13They had edge, and they had beauty.
39:15You didn't have either.
39:17And at least this way, you would have had some edge.
39:20Tito, I'm not gonna ask you to do this, but if I did,
39:22who would you exonerate?
39:26I won't ask you to because you have four people,
39:28so I'm not gonna send one person out,
39:29because it doesn't matter.
39:31Who would you send out, though, if I told you to do that?
39:36Well, since the very beginning of this whole show I started,
39:38I've always gone about people who work the hardest
39:41and going on the line.
39:42Who worked the hardest?
39:43Omarosa.
39:44She worked the hardest?
39:45Yes.
39:46Okay.
39:47You know, I think it's so amazing that you said
39:49that Omarosa shouldn't be fired,
39:51and probably she shouldn't be,
39:53and actually, Trace came through for you, like, unbelievably,
39:56and I was really surprised,
39:57but he said they wouldn't use your ideas, et cetera, et cetera.
40:00That leaves you, Tito, and Stephen.
40:04And, Tito, as much as it pains me,
40:07I told you the project manager's neck was on the line.
40:11So, Tito, you're fired,
40:13but I will tell you, you are really special.
40:16Sir, it's been an honor to work for you.
40:18I think you're so incredible
40:19that, personally, out of my own account,
40:21I'm gonna give you $50,000 for St. Jude's, okay?
40:24First, it's a terrific, it's a terrific group.
40:26They do a great job.
40:27But I want to watch you, Tito,
40:29It's a terrific, it's a terrific group.
40:31They do a great job.
40:32But I want to watch you do things beyond the fighting,
40:34because, boy, you have talent.
40:36Yeah, thank you very much.
40:37Get out of here.
40:48That Tito is a special person.
40:50He really is, and what you did was terrific.
40:52Well, you know, you hear so much about fighters,
40:54and this is like a whole different thing,
40:56and yet he's the best there is.
40:57It's really an amazing thing.
40:59It's really an amazing thing.
41:30This is all my charity time to give back,
41:32and for St. Jude Children Research Hospital
41:35is what this was all about.
41:36You know, I had fun, and I really wouldn't
41:38take back anything at all,
41:39and I think the long run, the only regret
41:41is maybe I should have worked a little harder.
41:43I met some great people on this show,
41:45and nice to work with Mr. Trump.
41:47So, in the long run, watch me in the octagon,
41:50kick some ass.
41:53Lipstick Jungle is next on NBC.
41:57Next Thursday, the biggest blood feud on TV...
42:00She's a piece of low-life trash.
42:02...will have America saying...
42:03I think he's in the closet.
42:05Oh, no, she didn't.
42:06And you called him a homosexual.
42:07And you won't believe how Piers fights back.
42:11This is the biggest slaughter
42:13in the history of The Apprentice.
42:14Somebody's getting a pink slip.
42:16It's my neck on the line.
42:17You're a complete dunderhead.
42:18Could Piers be ousted, or could Oma go homa?
42:22Watch what's going to happen.
