00:00إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

00:05If you understand that statement and you say it correctly,

00:09Allah will grant you the ability to go through

00:13what He has chosen for you.

00:15And you always need to be happy at the decree of Allah.

00:19When a person converts to Islam

00:23or reverts to Islam,

00:26we make them utter the shahada,

00:28we make them say,

00:30أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ

00:32وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهُ

00:34I bear witness there is none worthy of worship besides Allah.

00:38I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is the messenger of Allah.

00:42They say it by tongue.

00:44They should be believing it by their heart.

00:47When they believe it by the heart,

00:49they are called a mu'min, iman.

00:51Notice when you say the pillars of Islam,

00:54people mention the five pillars.

00:56These five pillars, they are easy to see

00:58because there are more actions.

01:01So you have your utterance of the shahada,

01:04you have your five daily prayers,

01:06you have your zakah,

01:08you have your sawm or fasting.

01:10People can see you're giving charity.

01:12People can see you're abstaining from food.

01:14And people can see that you've gone for hajj.

01:16These are things that people can see.

01:18That's Islam.

01:19Islam to submit to Allah.

01:21You submitted physically, but has your heart submitted to Allah?
