00:00Let's talk tight ends here.
00:04You believe that this is going to be the week for tight ends to really break out.
00:07Let's talk Isaiah Likely, who does have Mark Andrews ahead of him, similar to the Algier
00:10and Robinson conversation we had at the top.
00:13But likely we'll have Washington.
00:14You expect a lot of points in that one.
00:16Or do you like Dalton Schultz, who has New England, a softer matchup, and considering
00:20some of the injuries in Houston, maybe Dalton Schultz is the play.
00:25People are getting mad at me about this.
00:27I know, because Isaiah Likely had two touchdowns.
00:30Well, here's the thing.
00:31Isaiah Likely had three receptions for 13 yards, but he had two touchdowns, right?
00:36So clearly that was them finding a weakness in that defense of the Cincinnati Bengals
00:42last week.
00:43And there's weakness in the secondary and the linebacking core of the Washington Commanders
00:47too.
00:48They've tightened things up recently, but again, the Baltimore Ravens offense is a little
00:51bit different.
00:52So the frustration with Likely is you probably had him on your bench last week, and now you
00:56want to start him this week.
00:57But I think Dalton Schultz might be the better start, because I think if you're just looking
01:01for sheer volume in PPR leagues, I think Dalton Schultz might see an uptick in that value.
01:06You know, the vacated targets of Nico Collins are great.
01:10And I'm looking at Dalton Schultz, who's actually in Fantasy Pro's rankings a few spots ahead
01:15of Likely.
01:16So the experts, quote unquote, agree with me here.
01:18I saw six targets last week in that game.
01:21I think he could see more like eight to nine in this contest against the Patriots today.
01:25I think he has touchdown equity, despite the fact he doesn't have one on the year.
01:29So in a half PPR or standard league, I understand starting Likely.
01:34He's had some touchdown equity, if you're just looking for the touchdown.
01:37But in a full PPR, I think Schultz is the more appealing play today in the matchup,
01:41in the circumstance of being down Nico Collins and Stephon Diggs, again, having to lock up
01:46with Christian Gonzalez.
01:47That's a tough day at the office, which means more Tank Dell, more Dalton Schultz.
01:51So that's the way I would go in this one for PPR.
01:54All right, let's move the conversations to quarterback.
01:57I'll take the L here on this one for the first half of the season, I'm sorry, first few weeks
02:02of the season.
02:03I was big on the Daniel Jones anytime interception, and I was the first one to go out and tell
02:07everyone.
02:08But the last three weeks, Daniel Jones is a much different quarterback.
02:11He has Cincinnati today.
02:12Or there's Baker Mayfield.
02:13And Joe, you've been touting the wares of Baker Mayfield for quite some time.
02:17He has New Orleans.
02:18They have their own situations with which to deal.
02:20So how do you lean?
02:21Jones or Mayfield and why?
02:23This one's really close, actually, for me anyway.
02:25I just look at this and I say, you know, Baker Mayfield is certainly the safer name brand
02:31value that you're getting out there.
02:33But these guys are really separated by one spot here on the expert consensus rankings.
02:38And Daniel Jones, believe it or not, has actually played like a QB one quite a bit lately.
02:43So that I think is what's very intriguing.
02:46He's had a few QB one finishes.
02:49I'm looking at the Cincinnati defense.
02:50It's so bad.
02:52And I think that I just want to go that route.
02:55Mike Evans is going to be tough to start this week.
02:57You're going to start him anyway against Marshawn Lattimore.
02:59It's going to be disappointing.
03:00So it's really got to use Godwin.
03:02He's got to use some of these other weapons like Kate Aughton.
03:04He's down a running back.
03:05I think this one might be kind of a slog in division match up here.
03:09Huge game for Tampa and New Orleans kind of fighting for their life.
03:13I think the defense rallies a little bit.
03:14But Daniel Jones, I think, against Cincinnati Bengals is just easier points.
03:18Now, I'd like it more if Malik neighbors was there.
03:21Slayton stepped up.
03:22Wandale has been really solid.
03:24I think I lean towards Daniel Jones' upside and the rushing equity he brings,
03:28which is something Baker doesn't bring enough of.
03:31All right, with the time that we have remaining,
03:32let's have a deep conversation.
03:35Bo Nix or Drake May?
03:38I'm going to go slam my head against this wall while you give the answer.
03:43Go.
03:44Yeah, it's a tough one here.
03:45If you're in super flex leagues and bye weeks have hit you hard,
03:48this is a scenario that might be as Matt continues to bang his head against the wall.
03:53This is a situation that is not ideal.
03:57I think I would just lean towards Bo Nix, who's been starting for a few weeks.
04:00Drake May is a player that we're all excited as Patriot fans to see.
04:04I just wish he was seeing a better offensive line in front of him.
