00:50Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

01:03We had neighbors, we had friends, we got through it.

01:20But the point is we had neighbors.
01:21If you're in North Carolina, Tennessee, areas of Florida,
01:25some of these people are gonna lose everything.
01:27Their house, their church, their community center,
01:30their basketball court, their softball field,
01:32their baseball field, the drug store, the grocery store.
01:36I don't know how you feel.
01:37And I'm not gonna sit here like some jerkwad on the radio,
01:39go, oh man, I have no idea how you feel.
01:45But you're damn right that I'm gonna try.
01:47I'm gonna try my best to understand
01:50and use my voice to make sure
01:51that you get the proper attention you deserve.

02:30in some small act of journalism here like,

02:34has not been great here.

02:38Kamala Harris puts out a tweet this past week
02:41after these storms killed over 200 people
02:43and they're getting ready to sadly kill probably many more
02:47in the Gulf Coast of Florida with Hurricane Milton.
02:50She puts out a tweet about $385 million
02:53going to the people of Lebanon.
02:55As Jim pointed out, you know the country?
02:59385 million to Lebanon.
03:02The reason Lebanon's in trouble is because the country,
03:05the political leaders are housing a terror group.
03:07We're sending nearly half a billion dollars
03:10over to Lebanon right now while our country
03:13is being shredded and torn apart by hurricanes,
03:18which by the way, happen every year in this season.
03:22You know what this season's called?
03:24It's called hurricane season because there's a reason.
03:28Matter of fact, we've gotten so many hurricanes
03:31in this area of Florida, both in the Gulf
03:33and I live on the Atlantic side,
03:35that the football team for the University of Miami
03:38is called the, Jim says the hurricanes, yes.
03:45The hockey team is called the lightning.
03:47That's how predictable this is.
03:49So I would rather disaster coordination happen
03:53at the state and local level
03:54because the federal government sucks.

04:38He does this crazy thing, like he says
04:39to his emergency staff, his state police folks and others,
04:43he's like, hey guys, I think it's a good idea
04:45you guys get prepared because it's hurricane season,
04:48where it may be like a hurricane and stuff.
04:51So read what's happening with DeSantis.
04:53There's this landfill dump down on the West Coast of Florida
04:57and they want to get all the debris off the streets
05:00from Hurricane Helene.
05:01Did you hear this, Jim?
05:02Because it's going to blow around in Hurricane Milton
05:05and they'll become projectiles.
05:07If a broken refrigerator's on the street,
05:09that's a projectile in the next hurricane.
05:11So the gate apparently is locked

05:17So DeSantis' people are like, get a bulldozer in there
