00:30be able to actually you know do justice to the mark of LSR because come on yeah this time it

00:36was 100% cut off list. So I was like I don't know if I'll be able to do that well in studies or not

00:43or even if I'll be able to survive in the college or not. So initially it was my coach Jispal sir

00:48who also he's like a mentor to me not just in my sport but also in this field. So he was the one

00:55he was like LSR is a very good college for you and you must do your bachelors from there and

01:02higher studies from there. Although I was very hesitant I was like I don't know if I'll be able

01:07to match up with everyone in the college. So initially of course I had my doubts but

01:15again he was very confident and then I was also like I read about LSR and then I met Meenakshi

01:24ma'am as she mentioned in the at the Karni Singh shooting range in some event was going on

01:32and Delhi University Sharks and all. So I met up with her and sir introduced me to her and I was

01:39like ma'am I think I want to come to LSR although I'm not sure if I'll be able to manage my studies

01:46that well but it'll be a dream come true and I'll be really honored to be a part of this college.

01:53So within a few months this was made and I was into the college and I was like

02:00although I was not a very regular student but I was trying my best. I was trying my best

02:06between the camps between the competitions whenever I had off day even half day after

02:12half day also all the way through after my training sessions in Karni Singh I would come here.

02:18This one time this one teacher did not allow me in the class because apparently I was I was

02:24late for the class so I came from the training session half day training and she did not allow

02:31me in the class and I was so adamant I was like please let me sit let me at least sit in the class

02:37but that day taught me no matter what you're doing in your career if you're a very a brilliant sports

02:44person if you are doing great in your other careers other you know other activities whatever

02:49you're doing but you have to give your best in the moment. So if I'm studying for say in this college

02:58then I must do my best. I shouldn't take this for granted as well.

03:03I have to at least try my best so I kept trying and of course my brother was there to help me with

03:14assignments and all and my parents were always there. I'm really tired I don't know I need a

03:24driver or somebody to drive me to the college so they were used to come with me and the visitor's

03:30room of course they used to be there till all my classes were over and college me honestly

03:36class may I never felt like I was a loner or I was I did not know anybody so everyone was like a

03:44friend to me and I'm so so grateful for all of them to all of them especially there was this

03:50girl who's gone who actually kept me afloat throughout my classes my assignments everything

03:56so I mean like being a part of this college not only taught me to be brilliant in my field

04:03studies and sports but also that you have to be kind you have to be helpful helpful I mean you

04:10know teamwork is something that you must always carry with you yourself you have to be kind to

04:16everyone you have to be helping to everyone so these are the values that LSR bring so much for

04:22giving us so much love and affection it makes everything we do so much more worth it far more

04:28than the medals or anything else we can achieve all your love and adulation is unmatched and

04:34coming to LSR it's literally been home it's somewhere with fondest memories some of my

04:40closest friends and some of my best professors who've also been my friends I owe so much to

04:47this place the electricity and the vibrancy of this place stays on and I think I mean in sports

04:57yes Olympics is the highest form but I hope whatever your Olympics may be in any field

05:03I wish you all the very best it's not very hard to come to a place like this and easily be inspired

05:10and keep the values on there I mean the women from LSR have sort of changed the fabric of this nation

05:17they've led women movements they've been in every field at the top of their game so it was easy to

05:23look up to them and try to do the same thing and I'm sure there'll be many more and it's absolute
