00:00Whether it's making Brock Lesnar burst into uncontrollable laughter, playfully mixing
00:08up Ric Flair with Akira Tozawa, these are times where R-Truth hilariously managed to
00:15break others' characters.
00:22Number 1
00:23Taking Stan for his favorite fried fish
00:25Firstly we need to talk about how R-Truth made Shayna Baszler crack a smile, even though
00:28she's tough as nails.
00:29Back in 2020, WWE superstar Shayna was a guest on one of the episodes of Raw Talk.
00:35Unfortunately for her, R-Truth was also part of the panel and we all know that it's hard
00:39to stay in your character when he's around you.
00:41Shayna was actually complaining about the backstage food services.
00:44She was furious and took out her rage in catering instead of beating people in the ring.
00:50For R-Truth couldn't hear such things about his favorite fried fish, he jumped into the
00:54argument and accused Shayna of not using tartar sauce.
00:59Naturally this caught Shayna off guard and we can see her struggling to keep her face
01:03straight.
01:04So the lesson we got from this incident is that never mess with R-Truth's fried fish
01:07or else you'll fall victim to his hilarious sense of humor.
01:11Number 2
01:12Making Brock Lesnar laugh uncontrollably
01:14While the next incident will make you believe that R-Truth is one of the funniest and most
01:18entertaining wrestlers in recent history, can you believe that he made Brock Lesnar
01:21laugh uncontrollably?
01:23We all know that Brock Lesnar isn't a fun-loving guy, that's why Paul Heyman challenged Truth
01:27to break Brock's character without any script.
01:36Truth accepted the challenge and interrupted Brock in Paul's in-ring promo segment claiming
01:40he'd school Paul at the Royal Rumble.
01:41Heyman was like, dude, it's Brock Lesnar in the Rumble, not me.
01:45Truth withdrew from the match faster than a bullet and Brock was just cracking up.
01:49R-Truth move
01:55It was later revealed in one of the interviews that Brock loved his natural sense of humor
01:58so much that he invited Truth backstage and said he'd love to work more with the 24-7
02:03champion.
02:04Number 3
02:15Not being part of the match
02:16We can understand why Vince totally relies on Truth.
02:18He's the laughter maestro, cracking jokes without crossing lines.
02:22That's why he gets more creative freedom than other wrestlers.
02:24For example, almost 8 years ago, Truth interrupted a Raw segment involving Roman Reigns, Kane
02:30and Dolph Ziggler.
02:31He began talking about conquering his fear of heights and said he was really excited
02:34about winning the Money in the Bank briefcase.
02:36But there was a small problem, he wasn't even part of the match.
02:39Kane, the bearer of bad news, came forward to inform Truth that he wasn't even in the
02:44match.
02:47The confused Truth started apologizing to everyone.
02:50The whole arena was cracking up.
02:51While Kane tried to maintain his serious face, Roman and Ziggler couldn't contain their
02:55amusement and burst into fits of laughter.
02:58Number 4
02:59Knocking himself out before Big Show does
03:01No one is safe from Truth's humor, not even the mighty Big Show.
03:04In the world of WWE, people make sure to keep their distance from the Big Show.
03:12After all, he's not just a giant in stature, but also a master at ensuring everyone stays
03:16in line.
03:17And as you guessed it, Truth still dared to mess with him.
03:19In one unforgettable segment, Big Show went on a rampage, throwing knockout punches left
03:23and right.
03:24Scared of getting a real punch from the Big Show, Truth opted for a different strategy.
03:28He pretended to get knocked out, sprawling on the ground.
03:30The camera then swiftly shifted away from Big Show, capturing his amused grin as he
03:35chuckled at Truth's playful antics.
03:38Number 5
03:40Dressing up as a confederate soldier
03:42Even when he's the bad guy, Truth is a comedy genius.
03:45Back in 2011, he ended up challenging John Cena for the WWE Championship.
03:49As part of this program, Truth messes up with a fan and his son in the audience.
03:53To cap it off, he chucked a whole soda at the fan.
03:56Then the Raw boss said Truth could fight John Cena, but he had to apologize first.
04:00So in Richmond, where history says it used to be the confederate capital, Truth does
04:04something wild.
04:05He walks out during a segment with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon dressed as
04:09a confederate soldier.
04:10He says sorry to everyone, including the soda, and explains he's breaking free from the
04:14WWE universe.
04:20Just imagine R-Truth, a black wrestler, wearing the uniform of the racist army of the confederacy.
04:25Vince keeps a straight face, but Austin loses it.
04:27The camera has to look away as Austin starts cracking up.
04:30Number 6
04:31Trying to catch the imaginary briefcase from the air
04:34If there's one thing you can trademark about R-Truth's WWE vibe, it's this constant
04:38cloud of comedy confusion that hangs around him like a friend.
04:41Let us take you guys back to the 2016 Royal Rumble where Truth storms in at number 12
04:46and whips out a letter.
04:47Everyone's looking around like, what in the world is happening?
04:51He sets up the letter and climbs it like he's on a mission, ready to grab that imaginary
04:55briefcase.
04:56But the plot twist here is there wasn't a briefcase.
04:59Truth thought the Royal Rumble was a ladder match, and oh boy did he pay for that mixup.
05:03Kane shows up and eliminates him from the match.
05:08Later on the Not Sam Wrestling podcast, Truth spills the beans.
05:12He pitched the letter idea to Vince, making the Rumble look like a Money in the Bank match.
05:15And guess what?
05:16Vince finds it hilarious and bursts into laughter.
05:19Number 7
05:20Dancing spontaneously in front of Daniel Bryan
05:22Every WWE fan knows Carmella and Truth were like the coolest tag team ever in 2018.
05:27Carmella had Truth's back, helping him keep that 24-7 championship whenever she could.
05:31They clicked so well that their partnership kept going from Miz TV to Truth TV.
05:36Yeah, so their first guest was none other than Daniel Bryan.
05:39Even a wrestling legend like him couldn't help but be surprised and amused by their
05:42funny moves.
05:43Especially when Truth and Carmella busted out a spontaneous dance.
05:46Number 8
05:47Thinking AJ constructs Smackdown house by himself
05:50I bet this next one will make you know why R-Truth is everyone's favorite.
05:54In a chat with AJ Styles on Raw, Truth pulled off a hilarious move trying to crack AJ's
05:58serious wrestler vibe.
05:59Turning to AJ, Truth asks if Smackdown was his house.
06:02Does he also do condos, duplexes or little three-story homes?
06:06Truth thought that AJ was the constructor.
06:08AJ looks kind of shocked trying to keep it together and then he blames the host Charlie
06:16Caruso for encouraging Truth's crazy talk.
06:22Trying to save things, AJ explains why Truth shouldn't take the house AJ builds stuff
06:26too seriously.
06:27He says,
06:28I built it not with my bare hands.
06:30And Truth was disappointed.
06:31Number 9
06:32Damien Priest couldn't resist Truth's humor
06:35Every entertainer needs to take notes from R-Truth on how to make serious and intense
06:38characters like Damien Priest laugh.
06:40A few months ago, Raw kicked off with a Judgment Day like it usually does.
06:44But then R-Truth showed up, wondering about his initiation last week, where Judgment Day
06:48basically beat him up.
06:49But here's where it gets even funnier.
06:51Truth suggests a loser leaves Judgment Day match with JD McDonough.
06:55And guess what?
06:56Damien Priest agrees.
06:57In the middle of all this, Truth manages to make Damien break character on live TV.
07:01I saw it in your eyes.

07:07Truth got stuck in an elevator with other competitors
07:09While every WWE fan knows that it's hard to keep the 24-7 championship belt away from
07:13Truth.
07:14Back in 2019, Truth and Carmelo were running away with the belt, and things got weird when
07:18they got stuck in an elevator with Drave Maverick, EC3, Cedric Alexander, and Heath Slater.
07:23The refs who usually count the pinfall were outside, so the chase turned into a random
07:27talk session.
07:28Marriage is scary for anyone.
07:29Everybody's scared.
07:31But true love is real, man.
07:32Just imagine a bunch of wrestlers in an elevator, having a heart-to-heart conversation.
07:36And I've been married, like, five times now, it's...
07:41Drake's freaking out about his upcoming wedding, and Truth started acting like a therapist.
07:46Number 11
07:47Calling Alexa Bliss a creep
07:48Well, the next wrestler on our list also couldn't resist Truth's hilarious sense of humor.
07:53And it's none other than Alexa Bliss.
07:54In 2021, Alexa Bliss showed up on Raw Talk with hosts R-Truth and Kevin.
07:59Alexa mentioned she wanted to give Reggie a time-out, just like her doll Lily.
08:02She even says Lily likes R-Truth and wants him to join their playground.
08:06Truth being his funny self, calls Alexa Creepy Lexie and asks if she's a whack job like he's
08:10been hearing.
08:11You was a whack job, and I'm saying you not one.
08:14Alexa then laughs it off and says she doesn't have any mental issues.
08:17Number 12
08:18Truth's childhood idol is younger than himself
08:20Now many fans may remember this, but there's a bit of history between John Cena and R-Truth.
08:24Truth used to call John Cena his childhood idol, but here's the plot twist.
08:28John Cena is six years younger than Truth.
08:30Flashback to 2011, R-Truth and John Cena got into it with a feud.
08:34Truth went a bit off the rails, convinced there was a conspiracy against him.
08:37He even teased fans wearing John Cena shirts, calling them Little Jimmy.
08:41Big Jimmy got on a John Cena t-shirt too!
08:45John Cena, who's usually all serious, couldn't hold it together after a few arguments and
08:49ended up bursting into laughter.
08:51Number 13
08:52Mixing up Ric Flair and Akira Tozawa
08:53We all have that one friend who's forever lost in confusion.
08:56Well, R-Truth is just like that, but he turns his puzzled moments into a comedy show.
09:00Take 2020 for instance, when Truth and his 24-7 title were being chased by Akira Tozawa
09:05and his motorcycle ninjas.
09:07During the chaos, Truth accidentally crashes into Ric Flair and Randy Orton.
09:10I gotta get away!
09:12No!
09:13Whoa!
09:14Now here's where it gets funny.
09:15Truth gets all mixed up between Ric and Tozawa.
09:17He starts threatening Ric, telling him to back off from his belt.
09:20Ric and Orton are left stretching their hands, clueless about what's going on.
09:24Truth then points at Ric and calls him Tozawa.
09:26Tozawa?
09:27Flair and Orton couldn't keep a straight face.
09:30Number 14
09:31Gets confused about his phobias
09:33While not only about the wrestlers, Truth is also confused about his phobias.
09:37Yeah, you heard it right.
09:38R-Truth enters the ring, rambling about his acrophobia and how there better not be any
09:42spiders in the Money in the Bank match or the briefcase.
09:44I got acrophobia, y'all!
09:47Well, the plot twist here is that he mixes up his phobias.
09:51Acrophobia is a fear of heights, not spiders.
09:53There's not one spider on this ladder!
09:56Ha ha!
09:57I told you!
09:58The commentary team and audience totally lose it on air, cracking up at Truth's mix-up.
10:02And there you have it.
10:03Times R-Truth made others break character.
