01:06were ordered by a customer via Facebook chat in a restaurant in Marikina City.

01:11According to the owner of the restaurant, the customer was in a hurry to deliver it to a memorial chapel in Makati City.

01:18When the proof of payment was sent, we did not receive anything from our bank account.

01:22When we zoomed, we found out that the proof of payment is edited.

01:26But the proof of payment is gone.

01:29They told the customer that they did not receive any payment, but he did not reply.

01:34According to the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group of PNPACG,

01:38this scam is called a fake receipt scam.

01:41Those behind this scam could file a case of swindling estafa

01:47in relation to Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

01:50According to PNPACG, those who were victims of this scam

01:54should document or get a copy of the online transactions,

01:58the account of the suspect and his contact number.

02:02For the account, they should look for the URL, the link of the Facebook account

02:08because our investigators need to trace the account.

02:13They should go to the nearest PNPACG office

02:17so that the investigator can assess what we can do.

02:22PNPACG reminded the sellers that it's better to have a mobile banking

02:27so that they can see the real-time payment of the account

02:30before delivering the customer's order.

02:32The food ordered by the scammer was not wasted.

02:36They just gave it to their staff and street dwellers.

02:40Instead of us having a problem because we were scammed,

02:44of course, that's P2,000.
