00:00We worked very closely with David Heyman and Studio Canal, turning what was a beautiful
00:16illustration into a three-dimensional character, and we're so excited to be working on the
00:21Paddingtons, helping him launch and promote the new Paddington Empire film.
00:38The colour and the shape and the expression are all really important, but it comes out
00:42from the sculpt, so we just try to bring it all out, really.
01:08So he's great, and the stories are great, and they're for everyone who doesn't like
01:13Paddington.
01:14I feel attached, very attached.
02:08Michael Bond first wrote Paddington for his daughter, Karen, who, funnily enough, is the
02:30same age as I am, so I too grew up with Paddington as a child, and he's such an enigmatic little
02:37bear.
02:49We've created a bronze statue for Leicester Square, and we are absolutely delighted to
02:54be taking this beautiful bear around the country now.
02:58So he's going to be seated on benches around the country, giving people the opportunity
03:02to sit and have their lunch with him whilst he has his marmalade sandwich.
