00:00Hi there, my name's John Blow. I'm from the Yorkshire Post Features team. I'm going to
00:04take you through some of the things coming up in the week ahead. So first of
00:07all, members return to the House of Commons today after a recess was held
00:11for party conferences. Labour MP John Peake will lead a debate on what is the
00:16one-year anniversary of the Hamas attacks on Israel and there will be Tory
00:21leadership parliamentary hoostings from Tuesday before the Four Hopefuls which
00:25are Tom Tugendhat, James Cleverley, Robert Jenrick and Kemi Badenoch will be
00:30whittled down to the final two by Thursday. And if books and reading
00:34anything then there's no better place to be this week in Yorkshire because
00:38there's a number of literary festivals taking place. The Literature Festival,
00:42Off-the-Shelf Festival of Words in Sheffield, East Riding Festival of Words
00:46and ROWEF's Harrogate Literature Festival will all be continuing or
00:50starting and artists in Beverley including more than 40 painters, printers,
00:56potters, framers, jewellers and photographers will open their homes and
01:00creative spaces up to the general public. The second weekend of Beverley Open
01:04Studios which is free takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
