00:00No, not for ages.
00:02Oh, mine's okay now.
00:03Mine's on.
00:05What, when it gets really cold?
00:07No, I'm on me own.
00:08I'm on me own and all!
00:11Do what you like.
00:13I only have my heating on, mainly in my sitting room and so on.
00:17I don't heat off the whole house.
00:19No, if you're cold, you've got to put it on, haven't you?
00:21You know what I mean?
00:22I'd rather be warm, actually, without the meal,
00:25than be freezing cold.
00:27I have lost my winter fuel allowance.
00:29Well, half and half.
00:31I live on my own, but I host foreign students
00:35who come to Cambridge to learn English.
00:38So I have some people, usually teachers,
00:41to stay for a week or two weeks.
00:43Then I put the heating on for them.
00:45No, I have gas central heating and I have it on a timer,
00:50so it's on in the morning when people are getting up for breakfast,
00:54then it goes off during the day
00:56and then it's on around dinner time in the early evening.
