00:00How have you seen Ryan Ricko grow up since he got here?

00:04He punts it far and high, and that's what I see.

00:08So Darren could probably give you a more profound answer

00:13there.

00:13He's come in and been a great fit.

00:15Confident since the day he walked in the door.

00:17Carries himself the right way with that confidence.

00:20And it's one of those things, you

00:24didn't sign him at the draft or after the draft.

00:26So in a lot of ways, you're not looking at him as a rookie,

00:29because a lot of times you're adding guys

00:30in their second or third year at the stage we added him.

00:33So that's kind of how I look at him sometimes.

00:35I forget that he's a rookie, because he

00:37doesn't carry himself that way.

00:38And so it's just, again, the timing of when we acquired him

00:41and how he presents himself make it

00:44feel like he's much farther along in his career.

00:46And obviously, he's played very calmly

00:47and done an excellent job for us.

00:50You've had some good punters, but he

00:52has a unique ability, if you're backed up, to really crush one.

00:57How significant is that to the team?

01:00It's a big deal.

01:01You can think of playing Tennessee over the years,

01:05and the guy down there can flip the field on you,

01:07and you just feel that.

01:09Man, we're just backed up the whole game.

01:11And so to be able to have that and have that as a weapon,

01:15and then your coverage team believes in it.

01:18OK, now we got to do our job.

01:19We got to get down there, and we have to make this play,

01:22because he's going to do his part.

01:24And again, there's still a lot of experience

01:27to be had there.

01:28There's some things he's going to learn and has to experience,

01:30and he hasn't seen all the situations yet.

01:32And so there's obviously a greenness that will come there,

01:35but I think he's so far so good, done an excellent job,

01:38and done all the things we need him to do.
