00:00Here on a Wednesday, and yes, it is the baseball playoff, but we're going to slide in a little
00:09golf Wednesday here on C2C as we have the PGA swing season gets back going down in Jackson,
00:16Mississippi, the Sanderson Farms, where they're playing for the chicken trophy.
00:21There's actually also a very big tournament on the DP World Tour, which is the Alfred
00:26Dunhill, which plays at a couple of different courses, including Carnoustie, St. Andrews,
00:30etc.
00:31So two very good tournaments, well, one very good tournament.
00:35And then we have some names, I guess you could say, Cam, playing for the chicken trophy down
00:40there in Jackson.
00:41Of course, the Prime Minister Cam Stewart is with me every golf week, every golf Wednesday
00:45to get us ready.
00:46Cam, good to see you, as always, my man.
00:49And let's get right into it.
00:52Sanderson Farms, of course, we know the deal now here.
00:55Once you get past the President's Cup, Ryder Cup, the names on the odds board, you know,
01:01it's a little bones for the buzzards if you're looking for star power.
01:04There's no question about that.
01:06But we have guys here who are playing for stuff, Cam.
01:09Let's remember, top 125 for the cards, guys getting into those first couple of spots for
01:15the elevated events in February.
01:17So there are some things here that we're looking at in terms of the chalk.
01:21Nicky Dunlap is here this week, and he's got his spot locked up, but this guy loves
01:25winning golf tournaments, so why not?
01:27Keith Mitchell, Seamus Power, Maverick McNeely, Mac Hughes, Patrick Rogers, Johnny Vegas.
01:32I mean, what a, that is, and by the way, that is the chalk, that is the top of the board,
01:37guys.
01:38Those guys are normally on the ninth page of the board, Cam.
01:43Let's get rolling because I want to get to the DP.
01:45Here's who I'm going with, Cam, and then we'll get your picks.
01:47I'm going right to the chalk.
01:49The top of the chalk for us is like somebody at 8-1 or 10-1 or 12-1.
01:53In terms of pure talent, he's probably the best golfer in the entire field.
01:57He's won two tournaments this year.
01:59Nick Dunlap, 20-1, I'll go right for it.
02:02Ben Griffin finished second here last year, 35-1 for me.
02:07Mark put the Hubbard in the cupboard.
02:08Feels like he's going to win one of these Jabroni events at some point, Cam, 60-1 there.
02:13Who else has played here well in the past?
02:15How about Higo?
02:16Hello.
02:17Maverick Higo, 110-1.
02:19Also, Joel Damon has great history at the Sanderson Farms, 150-1 for Joel who needs
02:26to get himself.
02:27He got to stay in the top 125, Cam.
02:28He wants to make sure they keep putting him on Netflix.
02:32Great call there, Carver.
02:33I'll tell you, Dunlap, I got him out of 28 on one of my bets, but I'll let you have him
02:36too.
02:37Just want to know I'm also on him at a crazy price, but I'm going to go with Maverick McNeely
02:40at 25-1.
02:41I think this course, 28-1, actually, this course really suits his eye.
02:44I think if he can get that putter rolling and, you know, fairways and greens, Chan Kim,
02:48one of these hot young players you talk about, making a name for himself, Carver.
02:51This is what I like about Eric Cole.
02:53I'm on him again.
02:54He's a guilty pleasure.
02:55I know.
02:56He's probably cost us more.
02:57I'm going to have to bet him every tournament for the rest of my life, but this time, he
02:59faded when we were all on him last week.
03:01This is the time to take him in the silly season, 40-1.
03:04Nova Kane, as Carver likes to call him, Andrew Novak at 60-1, likes the conditions here.
03:09Michael Fjord Bjornsson, very talented young player.
03:12You know me, Carver.
03:14Dukes of Hazzard, Pearson Coote, 110-1, yeehaw, part of the Coote brothers.
03:19I got the Cootes.
03:20Well, I couldn't go the whole way with Eric Cole this week, and yes, he does play well
03:25in the swing season, but I was willing to go top five with him, Cam, at a big price
03:29deal, 8-1, 8.5, actually, plus 8.50 for Eric Cole for a T5 here.
03:34I'm going to go there.
03:35Mac Hughes has won here in the past.
03:37He's a winner at the Sanderson Farms, top 10 at plus 300.
03:40J.J. Spuds, J.J. Spawn, top 10 at plus 350, and these two, Cam, look at this.
03:47Ricky Fowler's got to slum it at the Sanderson Farms this week because of how far he finished
03:52out in the FedExCup points this past year.
03:55He needs to start playing some good golf.
03:57Top 20 for him at plus 300, and listen, Troy, take me to the Merritt Parkway.
04:01He loves tournaments like this, finished in the top 10 here last year.
04:04I just need a top 20 at 7-1, Cam.
04:07Carver, it's going to be interesting with Fowler.
04:09Quick note, new equipment, new irons could be huge for him this week.
04:12He says he's feeling a lot better, and know what?
04:14He can only get better.
04:15We're going to go with Dunlap, top 10 for a 250.
04:18That's a great price for Carver's outright to win.
04:20Ben Griffin loves these type of tournaments.
04:22You want fairways and greens at the Sanderson, nothing too fancy.
04:25Jagger Bomb, top 20, plus 160.
04:27Johnny Vegas, he's one of the best this week, plus 160.
04:30Mr. Fishburne, we're at the fish cookout right now, plus 165.
04:34And our Marc Messier, Mac Meisner, top 20, plus 190.
04:39Carver, our friends all over the board.
04:41Vegas, Fishburne.
04:42You love Mac.
04:43I do.
04:44You love Mac.
04:45I used to have a big Lashley problem.
04:46I got a big Mac problem now.
04:49Next, first round leader bombs for me over at the chicken tournament.
04:54Svensson at 55, Charlie Hoffman at 60, CT Potts and Pans at 65, Adam Shank, 75, Ben
05:01Coles at 90 to 1, Matthew Naismith at 100, and your boy, Nico Echevarria at 110 to 1.
05:09Let's go.
05:10Sounds like a single denial party.
05:12We got everybody, Carver.
05:13I'm going to tell you, for my first round leaders, watch out, hard Carver.
05:17You've got to put five or 10 bucks on Bo Hossler.
05:20Always out of the gate hot, and I love Hoffman and Svensson, so we got two of the same guys.
05:24Let's rock.
05:25Okay.
05:26Good.
05:27A little first round.
05:28All right.
05:29The other tournament, DP World Tour, across the pond is a good one.
05:30The Alfred Dunhill Lynx, and this is like, they play at three separate tracks here, Cam.
05:36You have St. Andrews, you have Carnoustie, the third one slips my mind off the top of
05:40my head because I'm trying to rush at this point, but this is one of the biggest event
05:45on the DP World Tour all year, and you talk about heavy hitters, Cam.
05:48Rory's here, John Rom's here, Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrell Hatton, big names.
05:54Matthew Fitzpatrick won last year.
05:56He's in the field, so lots of big golfers.
05:58I'm going with Hatton.
05:59He's won this a couple times in the past, Cam, 11 to 1 for Tyrell Hatton.
06:03Brooks Koepka, 20 to 1, big name player.
06:05Thomas Dietry at 60 to 1 to get involved this week, and how about a deep bomb with Matthew
06:11Jordan, 170 to 1 this week over there for the trifecta.
06:16Carver, I found a John Rom bet boost to 10 to 1.
06:19He's going to be played, but I'm going to tell you guys something.
06:22Team USA, Billy Horschel loves Europe.
06:24People don't know, I won him last week at 25 to 1.
06:26The guy plays great golf overseas.
06:28He almost won the Open Championship, 30 to 1.
06:30Tristan Lawrence, 35, and I found another guy, Nicholas Norgaard.
06:34I've done some, this guy shot two 63s here, Carver.
06:36I did my research this week at 50 to 1.
06:39Give me the Norgaard plan.
06:40I'm in.
06:41I love this guy.
06:42Let's party.
06:43You love your boy, Norgaard, this week over at the DP World Tour, the Alfred Dunhill,
06:50which is going to be a fun one.
06:51So there you go.
06:52Two tournaments for us this week, Cam.
06:59Bye.
07:00Bye.
07:01Bye.
07:02Bye.
07:03Bye.
07:04Bye.
