00:00:00Previously on the Amazing Race Celebrity Edition, it was the African safari of a lifetime.
00:00:10Oh wow!
00:00:11In Machalisburg.
00:00:12Great!
00:00:13With Brooke and Adam roaring into first place.
00:00:17Good work, hun.
00:00:18But a disastrous dig.
00:00:20We were the first here and last now.
00:00:23Sent DJ Havana and best friend Steph home.
00:00:28What a day.
00:00:30Tonight, our final six teams face the elements in Namibia.
00:00:39Holy Toledo.
00:00:42This is crazy.
00:00:44I can't see shit.
00:00:46They must navigate it.
00:00:48I'm trying to hurt my knee.
00:00:50It's very sore.
00:00:51By any means possible.
00:00:53Oh no, Foppy.
00:00:56Keep pushing, brother.
00:00:57This is sick.
00:01:01You look good on me?
00:01:02Yeah.
00:01:03Yeah, you look like a Samoan Oompa Loompa.
00:01:08But a simple mistake.
00:01:13No, I'm set up.
00:01:14What is that?
00:01:15We're going to have to walk and do this.
00:01:16Leaves one team devastated.
00:01:18I feel terrible.
00:01:19You're going to feel terrible either way we go.
00:01:21The race is getting intense.
00:01:23I don't know where the hell you are.
00:01:24Let's just pray.

00:02:2425.
00:02:25Namibia is a land of extremes.
00:02:29From the coastline teeming with wildlife
00:02:34to the desolate dunes stretching endlessly to the horizon.
00:02:39Originally inhabited by the San, Himba, and Herero people,
00:02:43the country gets its name from the Namib Desert,
00:02:48an indigenous word meaning vast place.
00:02:52This is the oldest desert in the entire world,
00:02:54dating back at least 55 million years.
00:02:57With nothing but sand as far as the eye can see,
00:03:00it's not hard to find yourself getting lost in a place like this.
00:03:04Welcome to the extraordinary Namib Desert,
00:03:07the location for the seventh leg of the Amazing Race Australia.
00:03:13Our six remaining teams have taken a flight to Walvis Bay, Namibia,
00:03:17and are being released in the order they arrived at the previous pit stop.
00:03:20Let's do it.
00:03:21I'm driving.
00:03:22Yep.
00:03:23Oh, honey.
00:03:24Oh, man.
00:03:25This is never a strong point.
00:03:27It was all well and good when it was just a joke.
00:03:30It was.
00:03:31Let's come first today.
00:03:32And then we did.
00:03:33And then we did.
00:03:34And we're like, ooh.
00:03:35And now everyone's trying to beat us down.
00:03:37You got your pep in your step today?
00:03:38I got that fast walk.
00:03:39Yes.
00:03:40Oh, it is warm.
00:03:42Okay.
00:03:43Okay.
00:03:44Okay, route info.
00:03:46Welcome to Namibia.
00:03:47Drive through the most ancient desert in the world to the mighty June 7
00:03:50to find your next clue.
00:03:51You have $365 Namibian dollars for this leg of the race,
00:03:53which is $30 Australian dollars.
00:03:55Let's go.
00:03:56Woo.
00:03:57Let's go.
00:03:58Let's go, Oscar.
00:03:59Beautiful.
00:04:02Teams will be self-driving for this leg.
00:04:05They're racing to June 7, one of the highest dunes in the world.
00:04:09And it's here they'll find their next clue.
00:04:12How do we get out of here?
00:04:13Let's see.
00:04:14Exit there ahead.
00:04:15That's okay.
00:04:16Yep.
00:04:17Now right.
00:04:18Do we turn right?
00:04:19You can turn right.
00:04:20Yep.
00:04:21It might be.
00:04:22What do you mean?
00:04:23It just doesn't look like there's anything happening.
00:04:25It doesn't look like a map.
00:04:26How are we getting lost?
00:04:28It's just so lost.
00:04:29Yep.
00:04:30Go left.
00:04:31And they went right.
00:04:32So we're already in front, Chloe.
00:04:33Being out in front doesn't always help us.
00:04:35I think we go with the three Cs today, Chloe.
00:04:38Cool, calm, collective.
00:04:39Let's read our clues properly.
00:04:41Let's be decisive.
00:04:42I love it.
00:04:43I love it.
00:04:44This is so cool out here.
00:04:45I know there's nothing out here, but I seriously love it.
00:04:49Let's go, Bridgie.
00:04:50Blaze our day.
00:04:52I love the sun.
00:04:53Love it.
00:04:54Oh, hot.
00:04:56Namibia.
00:04:58Let's oges.
00:05:00Let's go, baby.
00:05:02So enter the dystopian world.
00:05:06Mad Max.
00:05:08I'm hoping we don't have to go up June 7th.
00:05:10I hope we just have a chance to look and admire how grand it is.
00:05:15This morning was hard.
00:05:16I woke up, and I couldn't walk properly.
00:05:18I've had shin splints.
00:05:20It's kind of gone into my knee,
00:05:21and it's been bad for the last couple of races.
00:05:24It's too much to think about, actually.
00:05:26I'm like, I'm not running.
00:05:30June 7th.
00:05:31Right, right, right, right.
00:05:32This is another pinch me moment.
00:05:33I know, doll.
00:05:34Here we go.
00:05:36Come on.
00:05:37Just clue box.
00:05:38Yep.
00:05:39Go get it.
00:05:42Let's do this.
00:05:43Let's come over here.
00:05:44Let's go.
00:05:45There we go.
00:05:48Detour, let's go.
00:05:49Two by two or four by four?
00:05:52A detour is a choice between two challenges,
00:05:54each with its own pros and cons.
00:05:57In this detour, teams must choose between two by two or four by four.
00:06:03June 7th is the tallest sand dune in Namibia.
00:06:06In its shadow is Peters Pan,
00:06:08a flat basin and the starting point for teams choosing two by two.
00:06:13They'll have to scale this massive dune on foot.
00:06:17At almost 400 metres tall, it's a gruelling test of endurance and willpower.
00:06:23Once they reach the summit, they'll have to sandboard all the way down
00:06:28to retrieve their next foot.
00:06:30Some of our teams might not like it.
00:06:35It was at this exact moment when I realised I don't like heights.
00:06:39I knew I should have done survivor instead of this.
00:06:42On the other side of Dune 7 is Snake Bend Pan.
00:06:48Teams who choose four by four must complete an extreme 12km drive
00:06:53through the dunes that requires nerves of steel.
00:06:57Maintaining a constant speed is crucial to prevent sinking in the soft sand.
00:07:02Getting bogged will cost you valuable time.
00:07:05A judge will ride with each team watching their every move.
00:07:08Once a team completes a clean run, they'll receive their next clue.
00:07:13Now, there's only three spots available at each detour,
00:07:17so teams better get in quick if they want to secure their first choice.
00:07:21What do you want to do?
00:07:22This is hard.
00:07:23That's up to you, you pick it.
00:07:24They're both sick.
00:07:25Yeah, I know, they're sick.
00:07:26You pick it.
00:07:27I think we should do the four by four.
00:07:30Do you want to walk up? It's going to be pretty intense.
00:07:33No, let's do four by four.
00:07:35Four by four.
00:07:37All three driving spots are taken.
00:07:39The only option now is walking.
00:07:43Detour.
00:07:44Okay, so we're doing two by two, four by four is closed.
00:07:47So we're going to have to get the walk on, mate.
00:07:49Yeah, looks like it.
00:07:51Let's go.
00:07:54Not off to a good start here, lads.
00:07:58Drive to Peter's Pen.
00:08:00Peter's Pen?
00:08:01Yeah.
00:08:03My knees are cooked, so driving is the preferred option today.
00:08:08I know what it takes to do a sand dune,
00:08:10and I've got to get through this with, you know, bad knees.
00:08:13Sand dunes are horrible.
00:08:15You produce a lot of lactic acid,
00:08:17and you just feel like throwing up half the time you do.
00:08:23Driving in the desert, and we got this.
00:08:26Hi.
00:08:27Hi.
00:08:28How are you?
00:08:29Very well, how are you guys doing?
00:08:30Great, thank you.
00:08:31Today you're going to be doing a little bit of a drive
00:08:33through these lovely sand dunes.
00:08:35We've got an instructor who will go in the car with you
00:08:37to guide you through the particular route.
00:08:40What's important is that you keep your momentum
00:08:42and you don't stop because then the car can get stuck.
00:08:46Playing football, we took a team tour to Qatar.
00:08:49We got to go on the sand dune slopes,
00:08:51but we were just passengers.
00:08:52Here we go.
00:08:53You got this, Doz.
00:08:54That's about as close as I've been to fall driving in the sand.
00:08:57Gentle but firm going up.
00:09:00Okay.
00:09:02So not getting it to a spin.
00:09:04Now you're going straight, Doz.
00:09:06Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry.
00:09:07Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry.
00:09:09My bad.
00:09:13Great, we're not off to a good start, are we?
00:09:24That's the Tillys.
00:09:25Oh, shit, they've ruined their car.
00:09:27Can I go around them?
00:09:29We've got a chance to make up some time, maybe.
00:09:32Come on, man.
00:09:37Yes!
00:09:40Look at this.
00:09:41This is pretty wild.
00:09:42Wow.
00:09:43You're driving in the dunes of Namibia.
00:09:46This is just amazing countryside.
00:09:49Don't do a lot of actual forward driving,
00:09:52but thankfully we've got a very bad driveway on our farm.
00:09:57We haven't got to fixing it yet,
00:09:58but every time it rains, we have to forward drive to get home.
00:10:02This is amazing.
00:10:03This is incredible.
00:10:05Oh, my God, look.
00:10:10Oh, wow.
00:10:11That's...
00:10:14Oh, my God, you're smashing it, honey.
00:10:18Look at you, you love driving.
00:10:19Oh, man, I love this shit.
00:10:21You do.
00:10:25We're un-bogging the car.
00:10:28Unfortunately, it was the first hill, wasn't it?
00:10:31Yep.
00:10:32Seatbelt on.
00:10:33Seatbelt on.
00:10:34Right-o, here we go.
00:10:35Let's go, J.P.
00:10:36Oh, that's it.
00:10:37That's it.
00:10:38We're just pushing them to the side.
00:10:39Straight.
00:10:40Oh, bogged.
00:10:41We don't want to end up like that.
00:10:42She's moving around.
00:10:45I've been driving for a long time, believe it or not, about 40 years.
00:10:48Stay in the tracks, that's it.
00:10:50But, no, Dopey hasn't done four-wheel driving before.
00:10:54I've got a tonne on.
00:10:55Oh, I can feel it.
00:10:58Keep going, little car, don't stop.
00:11:00Keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going.
00:11:02Oh, no.
00:11:03Keep going, keep going.
00:11:04Oh.
00:11:06Oh, shit.
00:11:09We're bogged here, mate.
00:11:15Oh, right-o, let's go.
00:11:18Oh, I'll go that side.
00:11:21How's that look?
00:11:23Oh, the front, two off.
00:11:26This is incredible.
00:11:28We are going to do something so cool.
00:11:32So cool.
00:11:34Just watch your step.
00:11:35Go sideways, mate.
00:11:37He's not allowing that, mate.
00:11:39That's hot.
00:11:40We're in for a big one here, lads.
00:11:42We've got this.
00:11:43Hating life already.
00:11:45I've got to help my brother through this.
00:11:47I think it's going to be a little bit of a struggle,
00:11:49but we'll be all right.
00:11:50We're going to get there.
00:11:51Let's go.
00:11:53This is unbelievable.
00:11:55This is incredible.
00:11:56Look where we are.
00:11:58Wow.
00:11:59Doesn't even look real, does it?
00:12:01No.
00:12:02Looks like my screensaver.
00:12:03The sand dunes are spectacular.
00:12:06I feel like Lawrence of Arabia, but in green.
00:12:09I think I've definitely got sand in my bits already.
00:12:11I've got a few sand bits.
00:12:13How are you guys going?
00:12:15I'm good, baby.
00:12:16Damn, you look like Chewbacca and Princess Leia had a baby.
00:12:18You know what you're going to look like soon?
00:12:20I'm too far away.
00:12:21I can't hear you anymore.
00:12:23It's one major hill.
00:12:25Now, if me pushing or dragging you is going to help,
00:12:28you let me know.
00:12:29There's always a part of you that wants to push
00:12:32when you're uncomfortable, and everybody has their own limits.
00:12:35But knowing each other as well as we do,
00:12:38we know what those limits are, we know what we're capable of,
00:12:41and we work toward getting the best out of ourselves in that moment.
00:12:44Just push off the back foot.
00:12:46Just wait a sec, mate.
00:12:48Do you want me to drag you?
00:12:50No, it's the wobbly.
00:12:52So you've kind of just got to have enough support that you're there
00:12:56and find a way to get through it together.
00:12:58I'm thinking of crawling it. I'm thinking of crawling it.
00:13:01Then do whatever you've got to do.
00:13:12It's the training we need.
00:13:16Please.
00:13:17Let's go, let's go.
00:13:18Good work, good work.
00:13:20This is it, lads.
00:13:21Home stretch here.
00:13:23Home stretch.
00:13:25Bit of a mountain.
00:13:28It's game day, Pete.
00:13:30Yeah.
00:13:31It's game day.
00:13:33All day, Forby.
00:13:35Keep pushing, brother.
00:13:37All day, Forby.
00:13:39Keep pushing, brother.
00:13:42These sand dunes are not for the faint-hearted.
00:13:46Come on, lads. 20 metres.
00:13:48Very fortunate to have Bam there to motivate and push those that are struggling along.
00:13:53Let's go, Forby.
00:13:55He's needed water.
00:13:59We're here to compete, but at the end of the day we're human
00:14:02and we're all here to represent each other's charities.
00:14:05Let's push, Forby. Good work.
00:14:07As much as I'm trying to win for my charity, they're trying to do good for their charity as well.
00:14:12And I feel like that's what we're here for.
00:14:14We're here to help each other.
00:14:16This is all about love, you know.
00:14:18What was you thinking as far as doing this compared to the other one?
00:14:21We didn't have a choice.
00:14:23I'd rather do the 4x4.
00:14:25It's easy work.
00:14:29Go, mate, go.
00:14:31Boom.
00:14:34Can you see through, Osk?
00:14:36Oh, the front too, Osk?
00:14:42I'm not happy, I tell you.
00:14:45Good job.
00:14:50You're doing great, honey.
00:14:52I'm so not confident when it comes to forward driving.
00:14:55I get scared even on our property when it's muddy and I slip and slide.
00:14:59I scream like a baby.
00:15:01Oh, dunes are massive.
00:15:03I'm not kidding, they're steep.
00:15:05It was a no-brainer that we both went,
00:15:07Ads, you're doing this.
00:15:09Lightly brake.
00:15:11Hang on.
00:15:13Good job, Tuck.
00:15:15I can see the red and yellow flags.
00:15:17Well started.
00:15:19Well done. I hope you got it.
00:15:21It felt good.
00:15:23How did we go, Reinhardt?
00:15:25Oh, no.
00:15:27Yes!
00:15:29Well done.
00:15:31OK.
00:15:33Route info.
00:15:35A guide to drive you across the salt flats to Pelican Point,
00:15:38where you will kayak with Rowdy Sealife to learn more about them.
00:15:42OK, let's go.
00:15:44Pelican Point is a protected nature reserve
00:15:47and home to a few friendly faces.
00:15:49Up to 60,000 Cape Fir seals pack this beach all year long.
00:15:53You can hear it's loud, it's noisy, they're inquisitive.
00:15:56Not to mention their unique smell,
00:15:58which you'll catch a whiff of from over a kilometre away.
00:16:03Teams must be driven by a guide
00:16:05through this nature reserve to the seals.
00:16:07From there, they'll kayak into the icy waters of the Atlantic.
00:16:11They must navigate through the seal colony
00:16:14and locate four floating buoys
00:16:16containing facts about the local sea life.
00:16:18They'll need to take in everything that's written on each board,
00:16:22so they better keep a sharp eye.
00:16:24Back on land, a local sea life expert
00:16:27will ask one simple question to test their memory.
00:16:30If they get it right, they'll receive their next clue.
00:16:33I know what you're thinking.
00:16:35Celebrities in kayaks with seals?
00:16:37What could go wrong?
00:16:39Hey!
00:16:42Are you hopping, honey? Yep.
00:16:44So you're going to drive us? OK, let's go.
00:16:48OK, we're good.

00:18:29it was a moment of relief for me.
00:18:31Glad to be back.
00:18:33It's tough.
00:18:35Oh, my goodness.
00:18:37I just feel really proud of ourselves
00:18:39for getting up here.
00:18:41Oldest desert in the world.
00:18:43How beautiful.
00:18:45Almost got conquered by it.
00:18:47I thought I was going to eat a lot of sand
00:18:49on the way down,
00:18:51but I really don't care
00:18:53because I just didn't want to walk any further.
00:18:55That was my motivation.
00:18:57Guys, this is your desert speed machine.
00:18:59I can't wait to sandboard.
00:19:01We're ready.
00:19:03Oh, we're going face down here, baby.

00:19:47How good was that?
00:19:49Great.
00:19:51Better than walking.
00:19:53That was awesome!
00:19:55We actually wish we could pause the race
00:19:57and climb up the hill to do it again.
00:19:59That's how much we loved it.
00:20:01What have we got here?
00:20:03Oh, that was incredible.
00:20:07That was amazing.
00:20:13Next clue.
00:20:19Rude info.
00:20:21Your guide to drive you across the South Flats
00:20:23to Pelican Point...
00:20:25Where you will kayak with rowdy sea life
00:20:27and learn more about them.
00:20:29Thank you, brother.
00:20:31Sweet.

00:20:41Oh, that's better.
00:20:43Yep.
00:20:45Finally got it.
00:20:47We got ourselves out of the big bog.
00:20:49Just got to get a bit of momentum here.
00:20:51We thought four-wheel drive
00:20:53should be an easy one to do,
00:20:55but it's taking us longer.
00:20:57We're falling behind further.
00:20:59Thanks, guys.
00:21:05Oh, thank you.
00:21:07Thank you, my friend.
00:21:09Yes, well done.
00:21:11That's what we want.
00:21:13Rude info.
00:21:15Your guide to drive you across the South Flats
00:21:17to Pelican Point...
00:21:19Where you will kayak with rowdy sea life
00:21:21and learn more about them.
00:21:23Go on, Lou.
00:21:25This is great.
00:21:27This is amazing.
00:21:29Does anyone eat the flamingos?
00:21:31No, can't eat flamingos.
00:21:33That's why there's so many of them.
00:21:37Can we see Brookie and Adam just up there?
00:21:3940 metres.
00:21:41They're going a bit slow for my liking.
00:21:43Love to overtake them right now.
00:21:45Oh, jeez.
00:21:47What's she doing?
00:21:49We're getting there.
00:21:51We're getting there.
00:21:55Get our bags.
00:21:57How awesome was that?
00:21:59Wasn't that amazing?
00:22:01That was amazing.
00:22:03I don't think I've ever seen a seal in real life.
00:22:05Look at them go.
00:22:07They're just like...
00:22:09That's got to be Dorpy, that one.
00:22:11Can you hear the seals?
00:22:13The seals are so bloody loud.
00:22:15They've got beautiful big eyes
00:22:17and then they're like...
00:22:19This is sick.
00:22:21Smells like shit.
00:22:23Oh, my God.
00:22:25They're little seals.
00:22:27I hope they don't bump us off.
00:22:31It's a good day
00:22:33to have a good day.
00:22:39Oh, my God. Holy heck.
00:22:41They're up.
00:22:45Holy shit.
00:22:47Holy shit.
00:22:49Holy crap.
00:22:51We're slowing. Yep, I got it.
00:22:55You're going to have to get out right from there.
00:22:57You're going to be okay.
00:22:59They don't bite, do they?
00:23:01Seals are quite scary.
00:23:03Every single buoy, someone's got to jump in.
00:23:05But the seals, they're everywhere.
00:23:07There's hundreds of them.
00:23:09Just keep an eye on the seals, yeah?
00:23:11Yep, I got it.
00:23:13They're coming for you.
00:23:15I'm actually a little bit terrified.
00:23:21Drive.
00:23:23Okay, we're slowing. Yep, I got it.
00:23:25Get used to them.
00:23:27I know. Are you sweaty? Are you okay?
00:23:29I'm all good.
00:23:31If a seal wants to jump in my kayak,
00:23:33I'll go, help him, mate. Let's go.
00:23:35I know that this is going to be a strong point of ours.
00:23:37It's going to come down to stability,
00:23:39cohesion, and we got this.
00:23:41Yep, I got it.
00:23:43They're quite friendly.
00:23:45All right,
00:23:47hit me with the facts.
00:23:49Careful, you got a few friends coming.
00:23:51We've got four buoys, and at every single buoy,
00:23:53someone's got to jump in and retain
00:23:55the information about the sea life.
00:23:57You got it? Okay.
00:23:592.7 million Cape fur seals
00:24:01on the Namibia coastline.
00:24:03There's 40,000 to 60,000 living in this bay.
00:24:05Right. Left.
00:24:07Right. Okay, right.
00:24:09Hey, seals. Hello.
00:24:11Oh, my God.
00:24:13That was having a kiss, I think. Right.
00:24:15The main thing we know about seals
00:24:17is they're very handy on fridges.
00:24:21Cape fur seals eat
00:24:238% of their own body weight daily.
00:24:25Fish, squid, crab.
00:24:27Fish, squid, crab.
00:24:29Fishy, fishy, squiddy, squiddy, fish, squid, crab.
00:24:31Oh, my gosh. Tons of seals.
00:24:33There are a couple.
00:24:35Wow.
00:24:37Hey, guys, block the road.
00:24:39We've got seals there.
00:24:41Oh, that's mad.
00:24:45Do they attack you?
00:24:47Only if you look them dead in the eyes.
00:24:49Really?
00:24:51Mate, I don't know anything about seals.
00:24:53Time to get in there.
00:24:55We're one with the seals.
00:24:57Logan, you should feel at home.
00:24:59It's amazing.
00:25:01Is that a seal, or is that you in a smell?
00:25:09This is a better challenge
00:25:11for us being in the boat.
00:25:13Also, you know, this is for charity.
00:25:15This isn't just a vacation for us.
00:25:17We want to do well.
00:25:19Cool. Yep.
00:25:21Definitely my first time
00:25:23in the water with seals,
00:25:25aside from swimming next to this bloke
00:25:27through his career in his big black suit.
00:25:29I'll paddle, mate. You just sit there.
00:25:31Yep, I'll just try and get you in the right direction,
00:25:33and I'll stop.
00:25:35I mean, you used to see some seals.
00:25:37They're all together.
00:25:39Whimsy bloody things, aren't they?
00:25:41Yeah, just like me.
00:25:43You all right?
00:25:45Let's go.
00:25:47All right, let's go.
00:25:49Watch the waves.
00:25:51Stay still.
00:25:53I like water, but I don't think the water likes us.
00:25:55Do I have to get out?
00:25:57Yeah.
00:25:59Bro, if I get out, I'm not going to be able to get back in.
00:26:02Woo!
00:26:04You big little bugger.
00:26:06That was a good one.
00:26:08This is a physical challenge.
00:26:10We are surrounded by athletes,
00:26:12and Matilda's are out in front.
00:26:14Average is 1.5 rescues per patrol.
00:26:16My secret weapon is my memory.
00:26:18It's one of my strong points,
00:26:20and there's no point going around the course
00:26:22strong and able if you can't memorise.
00:26:24One and a half rescues,
00:26:26and six since April. Six.
00:26:28That's a goal. It's an Aussie rules goal.
00:26:30I'm going to shine. I'm going to memorise all these facts.
00:26:32We're a bloody seal.
00:26:34Which rumble's married to Heidi Klum?
00:26:38Yeah, we're the sixth car.
00:26:40We're the sixth car, yep.
00:26:42All right, let's go, dopey.
00:26:44Let's go, Aussie.
00:26:46Yes, 200-metre effort, yep.
00:26:48Hold this breath for seven and a half minutes.
00:26:50Let's charge back.
00:26:52OK, I'm going to recite, OK?
00:26:5420% squid, 2% crab.
00:26:56Keep going, guys.
00:26:58Keep going.
00:27:00Bloody hell, they are fit, aren't they, those bloody tillies?
00:27:02Seals can swim
00:27:04200 metres below sea level.
00:27:06We're coming second behind the tillies.
00:27:08Woo!
00:27:10I got it, I got it.
00:27:12Emily has this to a T.
00:27:1470% fish, 20% squid,
00:27:162% crab.
00:27:18It's called selective memory.
00:27:20200 metres below sea level
00:27:22in seven and a half minutes.
00:27:24Boom! Sorry.
00:27:26I'm not going to lie.
00:27:28Hi, sir, how are you?
00:27:30Oh, we're so good.
00:27:34Sorry, say again?
00:27:38Oh.
00:27:40Do you remember?
00:27:42What is written on the blue border?
00:27:46Not sure.
00:27:48The only question he asked
00:27:50was what was on the outside of the border
00:27:52of the buoys.
00:27:54I don't have any information that was written on the buoys.
00:27:58Oh, my God.
00:28:00Got it, OK.
00:28:02Here we go.
00:28:04Oh, my God!
00:28:06Do I get up?
00:28:08Yes, that was an amazing experience.
00:28:10They're seals.
00:28:16Catamaran charters.
00:28:18OK, let's go.
00:28:20Whoa!
00:28:22Holy shit, hun, you good?
00:28:24Now, this is going to be hard.
00:28:26Kayaks are definitely designed for little people.
00:28:28So we know that every minute counts.
00:28:32Cup-sizing
00:28:34and then swimming into shore is not what we need.
00:28:36Didn't need that.
00:28:38Let's get all the water out.
00:28:40We're going to flip it every time we get out.
00:28:42We were too heavy
00:28:44for the boat.
00:28:46The kayak was here, the water was there.
00:28:48Yeah, same with us.
00:28:52Shut up.
00:28:54All right, let's go around.
00:28:58Let's go, let's go.
00:29:00It was next to impossible to complete the task,
00:29:02but we had a crack.
00:29:04Have fun, have a crack,
00:29:06and don't look back.
00:29:12Good job, Kai. We're good.
00:29:14Friends of the seal.
00:29:16OK.
00:29:18What is written on the blue border of the fax board?
00:29:24I didn't say it.
00:29:28All right, let's go back and check the first one
00:29:30and come back.
00:29:32OK.
00:29:34Hello again, sir.
00:29:36What is written on the blue border of the fax board?
00:29:38Friends of the seal.
00:29:40Yes!
00:29:42Thank you so much.
00:29:44Friends of the seal.
00:29:46I will remember friends of the seal for the rest of my life.
00:29:48OK, here we go.
00:29:50Our roadblock.
00:29:52Who wants a traditional spa treatment?
00:29:54That's me!
00:29:56OK, you can have it.
00:29:58A roadblock is a challenge that only one team member
00:30:00can complete based on a cryptic clue.
00:30:02One thing you need a lot of in the desert
00:30:04is sunscreen.
00:30:06Luckily, the locals know all about it.
00:30:08The Himba people
00:30:10are the last nomadic tribe of Namibia.
00:30:12To protect themselves from the harsh climate
00:30:14they use Ochizang,
00:30:16a mixture of animal fat and red ochre.
00:30:20Forget your regular day spa clay masks,
00:30:22this ancient remedy works as a sunscreen,
00:30:24bug repellent
00:30:26and gives an iconic red glow.
00:30:28Teams will catch a lift
00:30:30with the Friends of the Seal
00:30:32to the edge of Pelican Point.
00:30:34From there, they'll self-drive to the township of Mundessa
00:30:36and join a Himba tribe's woman
00:30:38to mix up a batch of Ochizang
00:30:40the traditional way.
00:30:42Then, they'll apply it evenly
00:30:44to their forearms and face.
00:30:46Once they're covered,
00:30:48they'll receive their next clue.
00:30:54He's dry.
00:30:56Bag's in the back.
00:31:00We're in a good spot.
00:31:02Proud of us.
00:31:04Proud of us.
00:31:06What is written on the blue border
00:31:08Friends of the Seal.
00:31:18Who wants a traditional spa treatment?
00:31:20It's your turn.
00:31:22OK, I'll take it on.
00:31:24And then the last one was
00:31:26they go down 200 metres, hold their breath for 7.5 minutes.
00:31:28Impressive.
00:31:30Taking these facts in.
00:31:3270% fish, 20% squid,
00:31:342% crab.
00:31:36What is written on the blue border
00:31:38of the facts pool?
00:31:40Friends of the Seal.
00:31:46I don't know.
00:31:48All that other information.
00:31:50Let's go.
00:31:52It's a roadblock.
00:31:54Who wants a traditional spa treatment?
00:31:56You want to be disgusting?
00:31:58Yeah.
00:32:00We're ready to go.
00:32:02Still in the race.
00:32:04Let's go.
00:32:10We're back again.
00:32:12Friends of the Seal.
00:32:14Hey.
00:32:16Thanks, brother.
00:32:20Roadblock.
00:32:22Who wants a traditional spa treatment?
00:32:24That's you all over.
00:32:26What is written on the blue border
00:32:28of the facts pool?
00:32:30That is a good question.
00:32:32I'm pretty sure it was Pelican Point.
00:32:38Oh, no.
00:32:40Bam and Logan still here, aren't they?
00:32:42Yeah.
00:32:44Hold this.
00:32:521.5 average.
00:32:54Friends of the Seal.
00:32:56Very important, that.
00:32:58What is written
00:33:00on the blue border
00:33:02of the facts pool?
00:33:04Friends of the Seal.
00:33:10Roadblock.
00:33:12Who wants a traditional spa treatment?
00:33:14Damn it.
00:33:16Yeah, I got it.
00:33:18Friends of the Seal.
00:33:20Is that all it was?
00:33:24Nice.
00:33:26Roadblock.
00:33:28Who wants a traditional spa treatment?
00:33:30Yes, I do.
00:33:32You do.
00:33:34That ain't my bum bag.
00:33:36Are you serious?
00:33:38Yeah, that ain't my waist.
00:33:40What does it say?
00:33:42I don't know.
00:33:44They've left it.
00:33:46What should we do?
00:33:48Just bring it.
00:33:50Or you could leave it.
00:33:52You're going to have to come and get it.
00:33:54Go boss, go boss.
00:33:56I feel tired leaving that there.
00:33:58It's a big call.
00:34:00It's a hard one.
00:34:02Technically it's not our fault.
00:34:04It is our fault.
00:34:06I do feel a little bit bad.
00:34:08But this is all for charity.
00:34:10We're in it to win it.
00:34:12We want to win.
00:34:16So we're going to Modessa Clinic, aren't we?
00:34:18Yep, it's a fair way.
00:34:20How awesome.
00:34:22We've been to spas all around the world.
00:34:24Literally.
00:34:26That is our little oasis thing to do outside of football.
00:34:28Oh my god.
00:34:30What's wrong?
00:34:34Oh my god.
00:34:36Where is it?
00:34:38I don't know.
00:34:40We're not going back, I don't need it.
00:34:42To cross the line, you need this.
00:34:44You need your backpack.
00:34:46No, you need this.
00:34:48Can you check?
00:34:50Can we find out that it's not there?
00:34:52Can you unlock the boot please?
00:34:58We need to go back.
00:35:00We need to go back.
00:35:02Sorry man.
00:35:04It's alright.
00:35:06We've got the best driver here.
00:35:08He's going to get us.
00:35:10You need to fang it now.
00:35:12Idiot, idiot, idiot.
00:35:14Oh god, we were so far ahead.
00:35:16Shout in.
00:35:18Shout out.
00:35:20It's okay.
00:35:22It's alright.
00:35:28I'm sorry Chloe.
00:35:30I don't want to hear sorry.
00:35:32Honestly, I don't want to hear sorry.
00:35:34I'm gutted.
00:35:36I've left my bum bag back at the kayaks.
00:35:38It's okay.
00:35:40I know Chloe's staying cool, but I feel like I'm letting the team down.
00:35:42It's life in football.
00:35:44It doesn't matter how many times you lose the ball.
00:35:46What are you going to do when you lose it?
00:35:48Go again.
00:35:50That's all that matters.
00:35:52Just feel guilty, that's all.
00:35:54Don't feel guilty.
00:35:56It doesn't matter.
00:35:58We've got two teams behind us.
00:36:00You're driving hun.
00:36:02I'll get out.
00:36:04This is where I'm leaving you.
00:36:06Come on.
00:36:08Can't you come with us?
00:36:10We thought we had a connection.
00:36:12Okay.
00:36:14Yep, that's it.
00:36:16So you're going to Mondessa Spa.
00:36:18You'd love a facial, wouldn't you?
00:36:22I think we're close.
00:36:24Yep, Mondessa.
00:36:26This is bloody amazing.
00:36:28Is this a village?
00:36:30There was a great energy on the street.
00:36:32Everyone smiling and waving.
00:36:34It was cool.
00:36:36It was easy to get lost in, but this looks very confusing to drive through.
00:36:38I don't know if this is right.
00:36:40There's some dudes working here.
00:36:42Yep.
00:36:44We're looking for the Mondessa Clinic.
00:36:46The Mondessa Clinic.
00:36:48I'm about to drive now.
00:36:50Would you be able to follow me?
00:36:52Can we follow you?
00:36:54Yes.
00:36:56He's taking a bit of backtrack.
00:36:58Look at us going cross country.
00:37:00We've got the local knowledge.
00:37:02Look for Mondessa Clinic.
00:37:06Reverse bar treatment.
00:37:08So the big boys tuck shop.
00:37:10I used to work in the tuck shop.
00:37:12I used to give kids their lunches.
00:37:14Hello.
00:37:16Hello.
00:37:20Hi.
00:37:22How are you?
00:37:24I'm Ian. This is Christian.
00:37:26Nice to meet you. Very beautiful.
00:37:28Hello. I'm Pete.
00:37:30Pete, yes.
00:37:32Nice to meet you.
00:37:34He's going to have it on his face.
00:37:36I'm going to watch.
00:37:38Himba women, beautiful.
00:37:40With this reddish kind of glow that you could see.
00:37:42So break it down, roll it.
00:37:44This odd skincare routine.
00:37:46It's a combination of breaking down
00:37:48a rock into a fine powder
00:37:50that has to be mixed together
00:37:52with some fat to form kind of like a paste
00:37:54that then you put over your body.
00:37:56Okay, so all over.
00:37:58I know a bit about skincare
00:38:00and animal fat's not in my routine
00:38:02because it actually won't go below
00:38:04the surface of your skin.
00:38:06I can't help you, mate.
00:38:08That way? Okay.
00:38:10We go this way. Come on.
00:38:12There it is. I see it.
00:38:14Hello.
00:38:16Oh my gosh.
00:38:18Can we work with you?
00:38:20We're at the day spa.
00:38:22Yes.
00:38:24Honey, you do it because Adam's got to do it.
00:38:26You're doing good, honey.
00:38:28This is great.
00:38:30And then you've got to put it in there.
00:38:32Oh, okay.
00:38:36Doesn't smell great.
00:38:38Cool. Okay.
00:38:40It's like a day spa.
00:38:42I feel a bit guilty at the moment because
00:38:44I think we both need some pampering, but I'm going to be
00:38:46the one receiving it.
00:38:48It smells like a Parisian bakery.
00:38:50Parisian bakery?
00:38:52It smells like three-day-old chops that have been left
00:38:54on a plate in the hot sun in the backyard.
00:38:56Make sure all the animal fat's mixed in with the powder.
00:38:59Oh, yeah.
00:39:01We're definitely in last place right now.
00:39:03For sure.
00:39:05We're good, dolls. We're good.
00:39:07It's because you picked up my bum bag and not yours.
00:39:09I know. I know. I know. That's what got me.
00:39:11It doesn't matter. It's my fault.
00:39:13Okay, take three breaths.
00:39:1539, 39.
00:39:17Yeah, I feel we missed that turn.
00:39:19Here, brother. We're looking for this.
00:39:21Mondessa Clinic.
00:39:23Not far.
00:39:25Thank you, my brother. I appreciate you.
00:39:27Let's go.
00:39:29Lock it.
00:39:31So where that big, tall thing is?
00:39:33No.
00:39:35You go left before then.
00:39:37Okay.
00:39:39Okay.
00:39:41Okay.
00:39:43You go left before then.
00:39:45Yeah.
00:39:49So many kids here.
00:39:51It's beautiful.
00:39:55These girls are in hysterics watching you, mate.
00:39:57Great.
00:39:59Go, honey.
00:40:01That's it. Is that right?
00:40:03Oh.
00:40:05Oh, it smells amazing.
00:40:07Hey, Pete.
00:40:09You look good, mate. About time.
00:40:11Oh.
00:40:13My name is Bam.
00:40:15How are you? You look beautiful.
00:40:19Oscar.
00:40:21He's going to do it.
00:40:23It's me.
00:40:25My skin care regime is soap.
00:40:27Good value and works well.
00:40:29Look at this skin.
00:40:31Oh, yeah. It's a nice paste.
00:40:33Now you've got to do
00:40:35all over your face and ears and neck.
00:40:37Woo.
00:40:39Woo.
00:40:41I think you look awesome.
00:40:43You look sexy.
00:40:45Adam's skin care routine is basically
00:40:47putting soap on his hands and rubbing it
00:40:49on his face, which, let's be honest, it's worked.
00:40:51Oh.
00:40:53Oh, wow.
00:40:55Have I missed anywhere?
00:40:57How did I do?
00:40:59Yes.
00:41:01Oh, wow.
00:41:03You're so lovely.
00:41:05Your smiles are universal.
00:41:07Thank you so much.
00:41:09Oh, yes. How cool.
00:41:11Wipe yourself off now
00:41:13and then you give yourself a clean.
00:41:15OK.
00:41:17You look great.
00:41:19OK, root info. It's time to go shopping.
00:41:21You will need help along the way as your shopping list
00:41:23is in the local language.
00:41:25OK, let's go shopping.
00:41:27In this challenge,
00:41:29teams are helping a local shop
00:41:31restock their shelves.
00:41:33There's a list of special orders to pick up.
00:41:35A white shirt,
00:41:37a red hat, a green jacket
00:41:39and blue sleepwear.
00:41:41But there's a catch.
00:41:43The list is written in Damaranama,
00:41:45a language unique to this part of the world.
00:41:47First, they'll need a lesson
00:41:49from the locals.
00:41:57Then, at nearby street stalls,
00:41:59they must find and collect
00:42:01the special orders using their new-found lingo.
00:42:03Once they have correctly identified
00:42:05and collected all four items,
00:42:07they can head back to the store
00:42:09to receive their next clue.
00:42:11Very cool.
00:42:13Brut Fontaine Street.
00:42:15Let's go.
00:42:17Come on, let's go.
00:42:19Anything can happen.
00:42:21We've got the fastest driver here.
00:42:23He's going to haul us to get us there.
00:42:25We're going to pick up that bag, we're going to go back
00:42:27and we're going to do everything else right.
00:42:29It's a turning point for us.
00:42:31Right now, we're in the uncontrollable.
00:42:33I'm going to ruin my day.
00:42:35It's not going to ruin your day because you get to make
00:42:37the decisions whether it's going to ruin your day
00:42:39or not ruin your day.
00:42:41It already has. I can't believe that.
00:42:43Don't worry about it.
00:42:45Anything can happen.
00:42:47We're almost there.
00:42:53Chloe, let's go.
00:42:55We're going to make up for lost time.
00:42:57We're here now, we've got the bag.
00:42:59I'll hold it with my dear life.
00:43:05Don't miss a moment of the action.
00:43:09With full episodes of
00:43:11The Amazing Race Celebrity Edition
00:43:13on TenPlay.
00:43:19Alright, dolls.
00:43:21It's safe to say that I'm never letting go
00:43:23of this bag ever again.
00:43:25Oh, yeah. I'm sorry.
00:43:27Oh, God.
00:43:29What a stress.
00:43:31Is it a bad time to say I really need to pee?
00:43:33Yeah, you can pee when you're in your
00:43:35spa resort, okay?
00:43:45They're all having a lovely go.
00:43:47We're doing the roadblock and I have to basically cover myself
00:43:49in a red ochre as a
00:43:51kind of a sun protection.
00:43:53It's UV, baby.
00:43:55That's good.
00:43:57Yeah, this is
00:43:59different sunscreen
00:44:01than I'm used to.
00:44:03It feels like gritty kind of dirt
00:44:05because I probably haven't done it
00:44:07fine enough.
00:44:09Plus the hairs on your arms don't help.
00:44:11You're supposed to be sitting there
00:44:13and shutting up, aren't you?
00:44:17It suits you, Pete.
00:44:19The colouring suits you.
00:44:21Women are absolutely loving me.
00:44:23I can't exactly say why.
00:44:33I agree.
00:44:35I'm big in Namibia.
00:44:39Do you think you'll be doing this at home, mate?
00:44:41Absolutely not.
00:44:43I am not doing this at home.
00:44:45Yes?
00:44:47Yes.
00:44:49Check, please.
00:44:53Your hands are all dirty.
00:44:55Red at the moment.
00:44:57Time to go shopping.
00:45:07Hey, look.
00:45:09It's down here.
00:45:11It's looking shoppy down here.
00:45:13Is this it?
00:45:15Oh my God!
00:45:17Hello!
00:45:19This is my shop.
00:45:21This is my shopping list.
00:45:23This is my children.
00:45:25They can help you with the language.
00:45:29Are you going to teach us?
00:45:31Show us where to go?
00:45:33Are you going to teach us?
00:45:35We've been given a shopping list.
00:45:37Where do we go?
00:45:39We have to go through the town and find stalls.
00:45:41This is cool.
00:45:43Our two little beautiful kids
00:45:45are going to walk us to the fashion place
00:45:47where we need to find our items.
00:45:49And they've got to teach us the language.
00:45:51So when there's a thing that...
00:45:53Uri?
00:45:55Hems?
00:45:57What's that?
00:45:59Om tres.
00:46:01Om tres.
00:46:03Om tres.
00:46:05And then it's a...
00:46:07Uri hems?

00:47:13Yeah, I think she definitely is.
00:47:17Beautiful.
00:47:19I just love the ladies.
00:47:21The ladies love me.
00:47:23It's just a bare bare thing, you know.
00:47:25Alright, check.
00:47:27Good?
00:47:33Yeah, definitely an improvement.
00:47:35Looks like Shrek.
00:47:37How was it? Good?
00:47:39Yeah, thank you.
00:47:41Blow a kiss.
00:47:43Mwah.
00:47:49Sorry, you've got red hands.
00:47:51It's time to go shopping.

00:48:05Okay, let's go.
00:48:07Which one?
00:48:09Abatabas.

00:48:27I don't know.
00:48:29I don't know.
00:48:31Where did you learn this stuff?
00:48:33I hurt my knee.
00:48:35It's very sore.
00:48:37I need to get the
00:48:39clicking and first part of the word.
00:48:41Arm tray.
00:48:43Arm tray.

00:49:22want us to stay calm like this because
00:49:24at the end of the day if we're frantic
00:49:26it's not going to help either of our
00:49:28situations.
00:49:30It's 38 degrees
00:49:32outside. They're all wearing sweaters.
00:49:34They must be so climatised to this heat.
00:49:36Hey.

00:52:10of the words, we're getting one thing
00:52:12wrong. I'm not confident with that last one.
00:52:14That's not quite Omsarab.
00:52:16We had a green puffer jacket
00:52:18and that needed to be a blue
00:52:20pair of... Pyjama pants.

00:52:24Not Omsarab.

00:56:00Tumas Pan and search for Bo
00:56:02at the next pick stop.
00:56:08An ancient river once ran through here
00:56:10out into the Atlantic Ocean.
00:56:12Now all that remains is this dry riverbed
00:56:14known as Tumas Pan.
00:56:16Teams are now racing their way
00:56:18through Doe Rob National Park
00:56:20where I'll be hanging out with Park Warden,
00:56:22Freda.
00:56:24It's dusty, it's in the middle of nowhere
00:56:26and it's where our teams will find me
00:56:28for the extremely dry pit stop
00:56:30for the seventh leg of the Amazing Race Australia.
00:56:32Do you have
00:56:34scorpions out here and stuff like cobras
00:56:36and that? Scorpions, yeah.
00:56:38They look great. Awesome.
00:56:42Hurry the last teams who are alive.
00:56:44Go, go, go.

00:57:08Hurry the last teams who are alive may be eliminated.
00:57:12Come on, get in.
00:57:14Oh God, it's unlocked.
00:57:16Copy in.
00:57:18Personality wise, we've all really
00:57:20meshed, all the teams, we're making great
00:57:22friendships. Okay, tumours pan.
00:57:24But when it's race time,
00:57:26it's on.
00:57:30It's going to be a race to the finish.
00:57:32We've got to get out of here and get on the freeway.
00:57:34Go.
00:57:36This is where we've got to go.
00:57:38Tumours pan over here.
00:57:40It's like there's a sandstorm
00:57:42coming.
00:57:44Oh my God, look at it.
00:57:46There's a sandstorm.
00:57:48It's just dirt and dust.
00:57:50Oh my God,
00:57:52this is crazy.
00:57:54This is nuts.
00:57:56I can't see shit.
00:57:58Sand everywhere.
00:58:00The race
00:58:02is getting intense.
00:58:10So Freda, when was the last
00:58:12time it rained here?
00:58:14Over 10 years.
00:58:16Over 10 years ago?
00:58:18Oh my God, this is
00:58:20crazy.
00:58:22Driving on a freeway in a sandstorm.
00:58:24Whoa.
00:58:26You just couldn't care not having
00:58:28sand in your house living here.
00:58:30At the start of the race, we didn't see ourselves
00:58:32as serious contenders, but
00:58:34we're in it.
00:58:36I think I see a flag.
00:58:38We're getting more hungry and we're not ready to go
00:58:40home yet.
00:58:42Logan, get ready to run.
00:58:44We're gunning for first. We need to get back on top.
00:58:46That's for sure. Watch your feet.
00:58:48Watch your feet.
00:58:50Here we go.
00:58:56Welcome to the Namib Desert.
00:59:00Bam Bam and Logan, you are the first team
00:59:02to check in.

00:59:08Very excited, boys.
00:59:10Oh.
00:59:12Back up the top.
00:59:14That's it.
00:59:16I'm ready to have a drink.
00:59:18You might have to hold that drink because it is
00:59:20a virtual pit stop, boys.
00:59:22On your way.
00:59:24Here we go again, boys.
00:59:26Still racing.
00:59:28Still on that clock, but we've put ourselves in a good
00:59:30position here.
00:59:36Welcome to the Namib Desert.
00:59:38Thank you for having us.
00:59:40Brooke and Adam, you are the second team
00:59:42to check in.
00:59:44Oh my God.
00:59:46You're kidding. I thought we got lost.
00:59:48That's amazing.
00:59:50Time to rest and recover. I'd love to give you that time,
00:59:52but I can't because it is a virtual pit stop.
00:59:54Oh my God.
00:59:56Okay, we've got to go. See you.
00:59:58See you soon.
01:00:04Hi. How are you?
01:00:14Thank you so much.
01:00:16We've got to get our kids and we go back.
01:00:20Everyone's close.
01:00:24Yes.
01:00:30Yes!
01:00:32Well done.
01:00:38Hurry, the last team to arrive may be eliminated.
01:00:40Let's go.
01:00:42Pete, honestly, I've got no idea where we are going.
01:00:44Step by step.
01:00:46I feel terrible.
01:00:48Either way we go.
01:00:50I've gone left and then we follow
01:00:52that road all the way down to
01:00:54Tumus Pan.
01:00:56It's crazy how the desert is on the
01:00:58Atlantic Ocean and the water is very
01:01:00cold. Very.
01:01:02I thought it'd be hot, you know.
01:01:04It'll be interesting. We're in for a race.
01:01:06Let's go.
01:01:08This is it.
01:01:10Is this a road? Yeah, crossing the railway.
01:01:12Look both ways and be alert.
01:01:14Train hits you, it's going to hurt.
01:01:16Oh, there's another road too.
01:01:18There's Pete and
01:01:20Bridge.
01:01:22We need the keys to open the boot.
01:01:24Keys open the boot.
01:01:26One, two, three. Stopping.
01:01:28Go, go, go, go.
01:01:30Go off-ski.
01:01:32Bridgie.
01:01:34I can see both.
01:01:36Here we go.
01:01:42Pete and Bridget, you are the third
01:01:44team to check in.
01:01:48Are you fluoro-red
01:01:50or am I hallucinating?
01:01:52There's a nice little sparse treatment I had. I booked you in.
01:01:54Awesome.
01:01:56But it is time to rest, isn't it?
01:01:58You'd think so, but this is a virtual pit stop.
01:02:00Run again.
01:02:02Run again.
01:02:04No worries. See you soon.
01:02:06Maybe not.
01:02:08Yes, that's both.
01:02:12Billy and Oscar,
01:02:14you are the fourth team to check in.
01:02:16And where are we?
01:02:18Right now, the two must pan.
01:02:20This used to run to the Atlantic Ocean.
01:02:22As you can see, it hasn't run for a while.
01:02:24But you know who is going to run?
01:02:26You guys, because this is a virtual pit stop.
01:02:30We've got to keep going.
01:02:32I'd love to stay and talk for hours,
01:02:34but we are in the desert and the cobras are coming.
01:02:36Thanks, Bo.
01:02:38We need to win. We need to make some time up.
01:02:40Let's keep going.
01:02:42Yes.
01:02:44Perfect.
01:02:46Oh, yes.
01:02:50Yes.
01:02:52This is where it gets fun.
01:02:54The belief is back.
01:03:00We see Porfy and Christian.
01:03:02We've got to go.
01:03:04Let's put a little fire in the belly.
01:03:06Yes.
01:03:08We need to get in our car right now.
01:03:10We just got in the car.
01:03:12If we take the wrong turn, we can be going home soon.
01:03:14There's the water, Chloe.
01:03:16There's the water.
01:03:18We need to go away from the water, don't we?
01:03:20We've got to go back around, Chloe.
01:03:22Yes.
01:03:24We've got to get back out to the motorway, Chloe.
01:03:26We just got ourselves lost.
01:03:30We have had no idea
01:03:32where this tumus pan is.
01:03:34Have we gone past it?
01:03:36I don't know where the hell you are.
01:03:38We know that we could be up for elimination.
01:03:40We have no idea where Chloe and Emily are.
01:03:42Which road are we on now?
01:03:44Do you remember
01:03:46going through all this, Chloe?
01:03:48Do you remember all this?
01:03:50Because I don't.
01:03:52I'm actually
01:03:54a bit worried, Chloe.
01:03:56Emily and I have been going off our gut instinct
01:03:58and it is
01:04:00not a good feeling that we're getting right now.
01:04:02We don't know where the hell we are.
01:04:12Someone's got to go home today.
01:04:14It could come from here,
01:04:16the teams, or it could come from here.
01:04:18At least we can see them.
01:04:20They're not just going to surprise us and pop up.
01:04:22Yeah, we can see them coming.
01:04:24There is not a single car in sight.
01:04:26There is not a single car in sight.
01:04:28So I don't know
01:04:30if that's good or bad.
01:04:32There's no way we want to be eliminated right now.
01:04:34We're not ready.
01:04:36This experience that Emily and I are getting to learn more about each other,
01:04:38get our friendship a little bit stronger,
01:04:40I'm not ready to give that up.
01:04:42Let's just pray.
01:04:44We're not losing.
01:04:46Is that the railway line just there?
01:04:48Yeah.
01:04:50So we've got to turn.
01:04:52So the railway line's going to go that way.
01:04:54We've got to go just after it.
01:04:56I've been in pain for a few days,
01:04:58but I won't stop.
01:05:00I'm doing this for charity at home.
01:05:02Reach Out Australia, there's a lot of people
01:05:04that are doing it tough.
01:05:06So until we finish, I'm in race mode.
01:05:08Is that a flag?
01:05:10I can see a flag right up in front of us.
01:05:12Is it flapping in the wind?
01:05:14Red and yellow up here.
01:05:18Christian and Thorpy.
01:05:22How far is it?
01:05:24Go. I'll lock the car.
01:05:32Let's go.
01:05:36Welcome to Namib Desert.
01:05:40Thorpy and Christian, you are the fifth team to check in.
01:05:42How are you going, mate?
01:05:44Wounded?
01:05:46I'm not good.
01:05:48At the beginning of this, I didn't think I'd make it through the day.
01:05:50That was a thought.
01:05:52And then it was just overcoming it
01:05:54bit by bit throughout the day.
01:05:56But that's what you do, mate.
01:05:58You just push through, and you will dig deep.
01:06:00And you'll have to rely on each other.
01:06:02We've got more to give, mate.
01:06:04That's great, because I've got more to give as well.
01:06:06This is a virtual pit stop.
01:06:08I'd love to stay and chat,
01:06:10but I'm in the desert.
01:06:12Push through, mate.
01:06:14Very proud of you.
01:06:16See you, guys.
01:06:18No one behind us,
01:06:20which means I think we're last, Chloe.
01:06:22I know, Dolph.
01:06:24If we're going out, at least we're going out together.
01:06:26Come on, Dolph.
01:06:28Together.
01:06:32Chloe and Emily, you are the last team to check in.
01:06:34You are eliminated.
01:06:36I'm sorry.
01:06:38Unfortunately, your time in the race is over.
01:06:44I can't believe it.
01:06:48I feel disappointed to let down the charity.
01:06:50My mother-in-law
01:06:52and my nonna
01:06:54have both been affected by breast cancer.
01:06:56The racing for them
01:06:58was what made this so enjoyable.
01:07:00And as athletes,
01:07:02we don't like letting other people down.
01:07:04We don't let ourselves down,
01:07:06but letting other people down is the biggest thing.
01:07:08I think for me,
01:07:10I feel a bit guilty.
01:07:12I left this thing.
01:07:14It's fine, Dolph.
01:07:16We make decisions and we went through it together.
01:07:18You girls gave it every ounce of energy you had
01:07:20and that's what it's all about, right?
01:07:22We didn't win it,
01:07:24but we met some pretty incredible people.
01:07:26We've been to some incredible places
01:07:28and we're grateful for what we're given.
01:07:30We've made some really good friends on this show.
01:07:32And even though we're all competing,
01:07:34it's human nature to come together.
01:07:38I think that's beautiful,
01:07:40to see people from all around the world be so happy
01:07:42in no matter what situation.
01:07:44I wouldn't rather race with anyone else.
01:07:46She's my best mate and I had a pretty good run.
01:07:48You did.
01:07:50Oh, man.
01:07:52You're kidding me.
01:07:54You're kidding me.
01:07:56Why isn't this a non-elimination?
01:07:58I know.
01:08:00Sorry.
01:08:02Thanks for all these experiences,
01:08:04but I appreciate it.
01:08:06I think being on this race,
01:08:08I've definitely...
01:08:10I don't know why that makes me emotional,
01:08:12but I think for us,
01:08:14you almost feel internally
01:08:16that you are just a footballer.
01:08:18But I know there's a lot more to me.
01:08:20Chloe and I,
01:08:22for once in our life,
01:08:24got to put football second.
01:08:26We got to race for something that's bigger than us,
01:08:28bigger than football.
01:08:30We're proud. I'm proud of Chloe.
01:08:32I'm proud of how far we've come.
01:08:34I'd love to still be in it, but our time's up.
01:08:42Next time on The Amazing Race Celebrity Edition.
01:08:46As the sun sets in Namibia,
01:08:48the most relentless day on the race
01:08:50takes its toll.
01:08:52It's been a massive day.
01:08:54Did I get you?
01:08:56You alright?
01:08:58This is a lot of food.
01:09:00Pushing our celebrities
01:09:02to breaking point.
01:09:04Quite possibly the longest day of our lives.
01:09:06I'm out of my league here. It actually hurts to walk.
01:09:08I can't see shit.
01:09:10That pork knuckle got me buckled.
01:09:12Feeling alright?
01:09:14No.
