00:14Thank you Ms. Mel.
00:17Dear listeners, whatever the time, it is still possible for the typhoon Hulian to rise as a super typhoon
00:22that almost hit the extreme northern Luzon yesterday.
00:26Signal No. 4 is still high in Batanes, while Signal No. 3 is in the northern and western portions of Babuyan Islands.
00:35Signal No. 2 is in the northern and western portions of Mayland, Cagayan,
00:39in the remaining parts of Babuyan Islands, Apayaw, Abra, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte,
00:44and also in the northern and central portions of Ilocos Sura.
00:49Signal No. 1 is high in the remaining parts of Ilocos Sura, La Union, Pangasinan, Ifugao,

01:03and also the northern portion of Nueva Ecija.
01:06Aside from the strong winds and heavy rains,
01:09the northern Luzon may also experience high waves,
01:14which is why small sea vehicles may not be allowed to sail.
01:18Last but not least, the eyes of Hurricane Julian
01:21at a distance of 95 kilometers is in the west-southwest of Itbayak, Batanes.
01:26It will cause strong winds of 175 kilometers per hour
01:30and heavy rains of 215 kilometers per hour.
01:34It will move west-northwest at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour.
01:40According to the forecast track of Pag-Asa, based on the 5 p.m. latest bulletin of Pag-Asa,
01:45Hurricane Julian will continue to move west-northwest,
01:50and it will gradually curve or turn to the southwestern coast of Taiwan.
01:58It is possible that it will look out of our park for a while,
02:01but it will only look out for a while,
02:04and it will also return inside,
02:06and it will landfall here in the part of Taiwan by Wednesday.
02:11It is expected that it will also cross
02:14the mountains of Taiwan,
02:15which is why it is possible that Hurricane Julian will weaken.
02:19According to Pag-Asa,
02:20it is possible that it will leave our Philippine Area of Responsibility by Thursday.
02:24I just want to add that it is inside our park,
02:28this part of Taiwan,
02:29so even if it lands here in Taiwan,
02:32it is still inside our Area of Responsibility.
02:36In our satellite image,
02:37we can clearly see the eyes of Hurricane Julian,
02:40as well as the eye wall or its surroundings,
02:43where the heavy rains and winds are coming from.
02:47This is how wide the circulation of Hurricane Julian,
02:50and its outer rainbans,
02:52which is part of the trough of this hurricane,
02:55it also covers some parts of Luzon,
02:57even if there is no high wind signal.
03:00Based on the status of the metro weather,
03:02there will continue to be high chances of rain,

03:07and also in Babuyan Islands,
03:09as well as here in Ilocos Provinces,
03:11Apayau,
03:12and some parts of Cordillera.
03:14It will almost stop raining later,
03:16and it is possible that it will continue to rain tomorrow.
03:18There are still heavy to intense rains,
03:20that is why the winds are still high,
03:23or maybe it is a landslide,
03:24so be careful for our loved ones there.
03:27It is also possible that it will rain in Pangasinan,
03:30as well as Zambales,
03:32Bataan,
03:32and other parts of Central Luzon.
03:35There are also scattered rains,
03:36here in the part of Mimaropa,
03:38and also in Calabarzona.
03:40Here in Metro Manila,
03:42there are times when it is a bit hot,
03:44or the weather is a bit rainy,
03:45but there are still chances of rain,
03:47so don't forget to bring an umbrella.
03:50There are also rains in the remaining parts of our country,
03:53especially in the afternoon,
03:54including Samar and later provinces,
03:57as well as in the Negros Island region,
