01:15And now, tonight on Monday Night Raw is his chance
01:18to get down on his hands and knees
01:20and beg the big Bam-Bam for forgiveness.
01:23That would be the smart thing to do.
01:25That could be what we're gonna hear, but who knows.
01:27I've got the inside.
01:29We're gonna see, hopefully, the culmination
01:32of one of the hottest rivalries ever in the WWF.
01:35Made in America, Lex Luger tonight
01:38against Native American Tatanka.
01:41Let's take you now to pre-recorded comments of Lex Luger.
01:45It all started back at SummerSlam.
01:48DBS and Tatanka had the whole world convinced
01:52it was I who had sold out.
01:56Even the most ardent Lex Luger fans had their doubts.
02:01But it was you, Tatanka, who showed your true colors that night.
02:05And then you had to take DBS's dirty, filthy $100 bill
02:10and jam it down my throat.
02:12A humiliation I will never forget.
02:16It was right then I vowed revenge.
02:20And then in a six-man tag,
02:23three weeks ago, you ambushed me from behind again.
02:28And then two weeks ago, on Action Zone,
02:33Tatanka, you stooped to an all-time low depth,
02:39even for you, when you attacked
02:43Chief J. Strongbow from behind,
02:46a man who treated you like a son.
02:51Well, Tatanka, tonight,
02:55it's payback time for everything that's happened.
02:59And Chief J. Strongbow's gonna be in my corner
03:04to keep an eye on DBS.
03:07And I dare you to put a hand on him.

03:14And yes, here comes the Native American Tatanka.
03:17No doubt, walking down the muddy trail behind him,
03:20the Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase.
03:23What a match-up this is gonna be here this week, Jim Carnage.
03:27Oh, and I can hardly wait to see this, too,
03:29because if that old Chief J. Strongbow
03:31walks his decrepit fossil bones out the ringside,
03:33I am sure that this man has a few things to say to him
03:36face-to-face, as well as Luger.
03:38Wait a minute now, we're talking about a Hall of Famer
03:40and Chief J. Strongbow.
03:42Oh, come on, I don't care if he's the Hall of Fame.
03:44This is the new generation, and Tatanka and Ted DiBiase
03:47epitomize that.
03:49Chief J. Strongbow, ladies and gentlemen,
03:51there is no doubting this man's acumen
03:54when it comes to wrestling knowledge.
03:56You can bet he is going to impart some of that knowledge
03:58to Lex Luger.
03:59I'll tell you what there's no doubting.
04:01There's no doubting Chief J. Strongbow's age.
04:03He's three days older than Dirk, and there's no doubting
04:05that Tatanka is gonna finish Luger tonight.
04:08He's been on his back week after week after week.
04:10This is the final chapter.
04:12Lex Luger, unlike Tatanka, respecting his elders
04:16and certainly respecting the knowledge
04:18of Chief J. Strongbow, one of the all-time greats,
04:21indeed a legend here in the World Wrestling Federation.
04:23You know where that respect the elders came from,
04:25don't you, from Strongbow?
04:26Because he's older than everybody.
04:28Being the Million Dollar Man made a fool of you
04:31at SummerSlam and destroyed you at Survivor Series.
04:34But tonight, I'm gonna teach you the Native American way.
04:39I would suggest that indeed Tatanka
04:41does not represent Native Americans anyway.

05:34Lawrence Taylor, and joining us as well,
05:37Bam Bam Bigelow.
05:38Wait a minute, here we go.
05:39Oh, we're off to the races already,
05:41and look at Tatanka.
05:42He's leading Luger right away.

05:45Tatanka chomping away on Lex Luger.
05:46Perhaps Luger coming into this matchup
05:48with a little too, well, maybe a little too aggressive,
05:51maybe a little too ambitious,
05:52and Luger firing back on Tatanka.

05:55Yes, down he goes.
05:57Lex Luger has gone fired up human being,
05:59ready for action, and now it's Tatanka to the outside.
06:02And Ted DiBiase's got to get Tatanka to regroup

06:08because he wants to get even for what happened to that man,

06:21whether or not Ted DiBiase and Tatanka

06:34That may be to his disadvantage.

07:15He's just trying to get a little fair break here.
07:17All these people in the building are on him.
07:19Luger's on him. Here he comes.
07:20And Tatanka chopping his way back into the ring.

07:48would probably be reduced to a more brawling type matchup.
07:53And Tatanka chopping away on Lex Luger.

08:01If anything, this is emboldening Lex Luger.

10:26You just saw Tatanka doing a war dance
10:28on top of Lex Luger.
10:29Luger's breath now smelling like kiwi boot polish.
10:32And look at him crawl on his hands and knees.
10:34That's the position that Tatanka and Ted DiBiase
10:37have wanted Luger in ever since this thing started
10:40before SummerSlam.
10:41And Tatanka relishing the fact
10:43that Luger is literally just hanging on now.
10:46Tatanka with the advantage, likely to keep it.
10:49The Native American, he was the one
10:51who sold out to Ted DiBiase.
10:53Sold out his heritage.
10:54Sold out his friends.

11:15It's got a lot of germs on it, but it still spins.
11:18Especially the kind that DiBiase pays Tatanka.
11:21Native American Tatanka with a deciding advantage now.
11:25And Chief J. Strongbow doing what he can
11:28to encourage Lex Luger to get back to his feet.
11:32I think he better encourage him to get back out of the ring.
11:35Maybe Luger ought to join Strongbow in retirement
11:37after Tatanka gets finished with him
11:39because Luger, he exploded earlier in the match,
11:41but he's not looking too sharp now
11:43after Tatanka made a few strategic moves.
11:47This match, of course, ladies and gentlemen,
11:49this controversy beginning back at SummerSlam
11:52and Luger has been waiting, not very patiently,
11:55to even the score.
11:56Tonight is the opportunity.
11:58Can Lex Luger rise to the occasion
12:00against Tatanka and Ted DiBiase?
12:03And I've got to say that he rose to the occasion
12:06earlier in the match
12:07and he has been lowered back down to his current level,
12:10which is subservient to Tatanka.
12:12And at this point, Tatanka is squeezing the breath out of him.
12:16Look at Strongbow.
12:17Oh, now the crowd are getting into it.
12:19And yes, there's no doubt
12:20who the fans are behind in this match.
12:22A very partisan crowd on him.
12:24J. Strongbow saying, go to the inside.
12:26Go to the inside. Break the hold.
12:29But with Luger's strength,
12:30maybe you can do it in another way.
12:33Tatanka's strength is gonna prevent Luger
12:35from being able to get inside that drip.
12:37I can see it right now.
12:38He's got his hair.
12:39Oh, yes, and Lex Luger hammering away
12:41and breaks the hold.
12:42Well, sure, if you want to cheat,
12:43you can do it that way.
12:45Lex Luger, no.
12:46The roundhouse misses and Tatanka,

12:52to turn the tide a bit.
12:53But unfortunately, the toll that Lex Luger has taken

23:18Hey, I guarantee you, Lawrence Taylor isn't that stupid.
23:20Lawrence Taylor's not that stupid to try to physically match with Bam Bam
23:24Bigelow, just like Larry Santo shouldn't have tried to do the same thing
23:27with the King of Hearts, Owen Hart, because this is what he's getting
23:30for his trouble.

23:34Another one following up is Owen Hart, better known as the King of Hearts,

26:14And then furthering that, even in today's USA Today newspaper,
26:18the rumors continue to abound.
26:20And now, ladies and gentlemen, joining us in our studios
26:23to put an end to all of these rumors,
26:25the one and the only Lawrence Taylor.

27:52And I would suggest an embarrassing one for you as well.
27:55Well, it was embarrassing, so to speak, simply because
28:01I wasn't expecting that.
28:02And if I was expecting that, I would have been ready for it.
28:04But I wasn't expecting that.
28:06People, you know, they take the time out and they acknowledge me out there.
28:10And the World Wrestling Federation was very gracious in the beginning of the show
28:15and showed me out there and acknowledged myself being there.
28:19But then we just keep playing it over and over and over on national TV.
28:25That's when it becomes really embarrassing,
28:28especially when the fans actually know what's going on.
28:31And I wasn't pushed like that when I was in the NFL,
28:34so I don't expect to be pushed like that right now.
28:37Well, let's talk about that a little bit more.
28:39And I would suggest that you have been barraged, have you not,
28:42by so many, many fans who have said,
28:44Lawrence, what are you going to do about this?
28:46You know, how did it feel to be shoved by Bam Bam Bigelow?
28:49And, yes, it was played over and over and over again.
28:53To me, I would suggest that you have been barraged, have you not,
28:56by any number of individuals wanting to know what you're going to do about this.
28:59Yeah, a lot of people ask me, you know, what am I going to do
29:03How does it feel to be pushed by Bam Bam?
29:05But, you know, he pushed like a sissy anyway, so it didn't really hurt.

38:36Finally, this past weekend on WWF Superstars,
38:40the Bulldog got another chance to prove himself.
38:43A battle royal.
38:45This time, all the competitors began at once.
38:48And at once, Shawn Michaels eliminated himself.
38:52Shawn claims he did it to save himself for his title match at WrestleMania.
38:57But who was he saving when he attacked the Bulldog later on?
39:00The Bulldog persevered and went on to win the battle royal.
39:04Next week, on Monday Night Raw,
39:07two of the world's most accomplished wrestlers,
39:09Shawn Michaels and the British Bulldog,
39:11finally meet one-on-one.
39:14Or will they?
39:15Who knows what role Shawn's new bodyguard, Sid, will play in the match.
