Once there lived a bird so bright,
Chidia Rani, a lovely sight!
She flew high in the clear blue sky,
Waving her wings as she soared by.
Chidia Rani sang so sweet,
Every morning, her tune a treat.
Children danced, and flowers bloomed,
When her happy song was tuned.
"Oh little ones, come play with me,
In the garden, near the tree.
We'll sing and laugh, so full of cheer,
With Chidia Rani always near!"
Her feathers shone in golden light,
In the sunshine, such a pretty sight!
She fluttered here, she fluttered there,
Bringing joy everywhere.
And when the day would come to end,
She'd call out to her little friends,
"Goodnight, goodnight, my dear ones all,
Tomorrow we'll fly and have a ball!"
Chidia Rani, so full of grace,
Lives in every child's embrace.
A song of joy, a tune so sweet,
A melody that can't be beat!
