00:00Hello everyone, this is Paul Branson Reviews and So Much More, and I have tried some of
00:07these munchies. These are munchies. Now, I remember them being small bags, and they were
00:12just regular. They didn't have many multiple flavors. They didn't have chips. Well, they
00:18had chips. I'm being stupid here, I can't even think. They had chips, but in small bags,
00:24but not flavor chips. Now, they seem to have popcorn, and I think I put that one up just
00:30recently. They have tortilla ones, all in different flavors, and this one here is the
00:36munchies old school barbecue. Now, I don't know what old school is. I remember old school,
00:43so maybe they did come out with different flavors with small bags, but I just remember
00:47it being regular, small bags, saying 99 cents at the top, and then finally I saw these munchies,
00:53bigger bags, different flavors, popcorn, tortilla chips, and $3 a bag. Now, got the
01:01munchies, and each bag has different pictures of them. Here they're barbecuing, because
01:08it's obviously barbecue, and it's hostess, it's represented in hostess there. So let's
01:14see here, 270 calories, 23% fat, 10 trans fat, fiber 7, sugar 3, sodium 11, potassium
01:2518, calcium 2, and iron 6. So, the first ingredient's potatoes, because someone told me potatoes
01:35weren't really in munchies, because you may not know this, but Pringles, they can't call
01:40them potato chips, because Pringles don't have potatoes in them. So that's why they're
01:44not called chips. They're called Pringles. That's what I've been told. I looked at the
01:50Pringles recently, and I was going, yeah, they're not called potato chips in any way.
01:54So they're not potato chips, because potato chips cannot look that perfectly in a tube.
02:00That's what my friend said, but they have other tube ones, and they look good. But anyway,
02:07that being said, this is guaranteed fresh. So if you have any problems with it, they
02:11actually have an information there that you can call and say, look, I spit it out. I didn't
02:16like it at all. It wasn't even barbecue. You had a different flavor in the bag. And I've
02:21actually had that happen. I was so excited. I come home, and I'm going, I'm having my
02:25salt and vinegar chips. Go in the bag, and I'm like, what's this? It's sour cream? And
02:32I'm looking, did I grab the wrong bag? But anyway, this is munchies. This is old school.
02:38Maybe, I don't know what that means, but maybe, I know Lay's actually had, Lay's, I think
02:45it was Lay's, Lay's actually had a different type of barbecue. And then years later, they
02:52changed it. So they have like an old school barbecue, and the newer barbecue. Maybe they
02:57did have something. I don't know. But anyway, potatoes, vegetable oil, seasoning, yeast,
03:03onion powder, tomato powder, better have that. And some words I just can't pronounce.
03:11I have pronunciation problems with some things I just can't say. Let's open this.
03:23It's not anything I've smelt before. I'm actually kind of, and look at the bag too. It goes
03:28way down to there. Like, I don't think that's fair. I know they could fill it higher. They
03:33say it's an air thing though, that they have to have air in the bag to keep the chips fresh.
03:38You know, I've heard that. Oh, we need air in the bag to keep the air fresh. And I'm
03:42like, well, yeah, but you could still fill the bag higher to do that. Maybe they can't.
03:46I don't know. But that's what they say. Okay, now I'm just going to, look at that. Well,
03:54it's not clearing my sinuses or nothing.
04:04Oh, there they are.
04:14Maybe munchies did have a barbecue back in the day. Because they definitely remind me.
04:19They bring me back as when, when I was a kid. I like these actually. I really like these.
04:26They bring me back. Like when something can bring you back as a kid when you eat it, because
04:30a lot of treats they've taken away now. They don't have them anymore.
04:42Right away people, I have to give this, oh man, oh yeah. These are going to be eaten
04:48while I watch a movie today. I drink Coke a day and I always have either popcorn or
04:55chips, mainly popcorn. But today it's going to be munchies, old school. Oh my God, I love
05:00these actually. Okay, no, no, no, no. I got to put it away. Put it away. The smell doesn't
05:08remind me of everything. There's several things that remind you of something. Music, smell
05:13and taste. And places. Places can remind you of things, but the smell, the taste of food
05:21and music can remind you. And you know, back in the day I used to study with music. I used
05:28to actually have my study notes behind the music, kind of like subliminal messages and
05:33it worked. Did I get A's? Of course not. I still did okay. Alright everyone. Well maybe
05:40I did get some A's, I don't remember. But these are good. I give these an 8.5 out of
05:4510. They definitely bring back my childhood. An 8.5 out of 10 for sure. They seem to be
05:51consistent and I really like them. Munchies, old school barbecue. If you want your childhood
05:57back, check them out. I'm sure it's going to remind you of something, especially if
06:01you're my age. I'm in my 50s, so let's just say that. No, I'm 52. And yep. Bye for now
