Celebrity preacher Azman Syah Alias, better known as PU Azman, has been sentenced to 24 years imprisonment and two lashes for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy two years ago.
Klang Sessions Court judge Noridah Adam sentenced Azman, 43, on Friday (Sept 27) after ruling that the defence failed to raise reasonable doubt at the end of the trial.

01:00It mentioned that the victim now suffers from prolonged trauma and has experienced both
01:05physical and emotional harm after the dark incident.
01:09The victim also lives in constant fear when in public, and the family is also embarrassed
01:15to participate in local community activities, Azman is facing nine more charges related
01:20to sexual crimes, namely five charges in the Seremban Sessions Court, two cases in
01:26the Shah Alam Sessions Court, and one case each in the Klang Magistrates Court and the
01:31Ampang Sessions Court.
