00:00Have you ever wondered what am I doing here on this space rock? How did I get
00:06here and what am I supposed to do? Or maybe you felt a longing deep within you
00:11something resembling an emptiness that you're not quite sure how to define. This
00:16means that we have to unlock your soul and let it blossom into something
00:21beautiful and that's exactly what we're going to go through in this video. Now
00:26unlocking your soul can be done if you act on five important tips especially
00:32number four. Let's dive in. Number one shape your purpose. Working hard for
00:41something we don't care about is called stress. Working hard for something we
00:45love is called passion. Your why is your purpose cause or belief that inspires
00:52you to do what you do. Your soul is fueled by meaning and purpose and this
00:59needs to be defined by you. Defining your purpose is going to take time and
01:04reflection and it's more of a journey of discovery than a destination. So don't
01:09get frustrated if the answer doesn't pop up immediately but it's good to set some
01:13systems and habits in place to help you in your search. To bring shape to what
01:18your purpose in life is it's good to approach it from a variety of different
01:21angles. Here are three. One write down moments in your life where you felt very
01:28purpose-driven where you felt truly alive and proud of yourself. What was the
01:32driver of these moments? What were the activities that led to them? You should
01:37be able to discover pieces of truth that points towards what is purposeful for
01:41you in life and it goes without saying you should continue to accumulate
01:46different experiences in life. Learn a little about a lot and follow through
01:50with the things that spark your interest. This is especially true earlier
01:55in life but it remains true throughout all of life. Number two create a vision
02:02board that holds images, words, statements that resonate with what you feel is your
02:08purpose in life. You can start one on a PPT, Google Slides or any medium you
02:14prefer. Scour the internet through search terms that you feel relate to your
02:18purpose. Copy and paste the most relevant items onto the vision board.
02:23Over time you'll have collected several meaningful indicators of your purpose in
02:28life and when it is time to reflect and refine on your purpose you can come to
02:33your vision board and scan and reflect and meditate. A helpful tool that becomes
02:38more valuable over time. And number three pretend you are from the future and you
02:44are writing a letter to your current self. Imagine that in the future you are
02:48living a life that is very much in tune with your purpose and you have become
02:52the vision state self that makes you feel really good. Make this a journal
02:57habit. Write to your current self and describe the life you live. Give some
03:02advice to yourself. Give stories of how interesting your projects are in the
03:06future. What challenges are you helping to solve? What contribution are you
03:12making to someone or to a group of people? Let your imagination flow. You
03:16will be surprised at how fun and insightful this activity can be. Number
03:23two exercise gratitude. Gratitude is a way of life. It's not only the greatest
03:30of virtues but the parent of all the others. It allows us to see the good in
03:36our life in the present moment. One of the most powerful activities to help you
03:41heal and strengthen the soul is exercising gratitude. Think of gratitude
03:47as oxygen for your soul. Think of it as clean water for your soul. Moments of
03:53gratitude require you to reflect on your life and think in abundance which
03:58combats depression and an overall feeling of being lost. As you strengthen
04:03your gratitude muscle your mind will start to be more aware of the
04:06opportunities around you. It's like opening up your mind's eye so that the
04:10chances of you colliding with life-changing opportunities increases.
04:14It also drives you closer to people that resonate with that same positive
04:19energy. Practicing gratitude starts to materialize in all of your actions and
04:25even your appearance. Subtle cues of a grateful person start to emanate and
04:30people pick up on this and the world starts working in mysterious ways to
04:36empower you and help you to live more purposefully. Also being thankful for
04:42what you have in life big or small generates a sense of wanting to give
04:45back. It nurtures an element of service in your purpose. Generally having service
04:52to others, to society, to your loved ones is a very good characteristic of purpose.
04:57Therefore gratitude works in many ways to set you up for a very effective soul
05:03unlocking journey. How about you share a comment below on what you are grateful
05:08for and we can get the ball rolling. Number three be vulnerably you.
05:16Vulnerability is not weakness it's our greatest measure of courage. In today's
05:22society there are many forces that try to shape us and how we live our lives
05:27especially the news and social media but sometimes even our family and
05:32friends. These forces can cage up our inner child which is basically locking
05:38up our soul. Being vulnerably you invites a profound connection with others yes
05:45but most importantly with yourself. It's in this space of vulnerability that we
05:51often find our most authentic passions and the seeds of our purpose. This isn't
05:57just about embracing your strengths it's about acknowledging your fears your
06:02challenges and your imperfections. So here's a way to start. Start small. Write
06:09down truths about yourself including your fears and your dreams. Add it to
06:13your journaling routine. The prompt could be something like what is an authentic
06:18truth about myself. This will help you become aware of what you may be
06:22concealing. These will identify opportunities to be vulnerably you. As
06:27you pinpoint which truths you want to be more vulnerable about you can discuss
06:32them with someone you trust. Slowly peel away the masks that society has given
06:38you. Being vulnerably you is not only okay it's beautiful it's powerful and
06:44it's the key to unlocking the boundless potential within your soul. Your
06:49authenticity is your superpower. Embrace it. It's from this place of unapologetic
06:56truth that you can truly start to craft a life filled with meaning guided by an
07:02inner purpose that resonates with the very core of your being. Number four. Life
07:09is fleeting. Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool
07:15that I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because
07:20almost everything, all external expectations, all pride, all fear of
07:26embarrassment or failure, these things just fall away in the face of death
07:30leaving only what is truly important. This isn't meant to dishearten you
07:37rather it's a call to embrace the preciousness of each moment and live
07:42with a heightened sense of purpose and urgency. In today's society death is so
07:48villainized but it's a natural part of our life and if we understand its
07:54inevitability and embrace it then we can start to live more intentionally and
07:59accumulate less regrets. So how do we practically embrace this approach to
08:04life? Here's a simple exercise that will help. Each morning ask yourself if today
08:10were my last day what would I want to do? What would truly matter? Again it would
08:16be a great journal prompt to add. This question isn't meant to invoke fear but
08:21to clarify your priorities and help you focus on what's genuinely important. Next
08:27make a bucket list of meaningful experiences. Prioritize relationships,
08:32personal growth, and contributions to others. This list will start to bring
08:36shape to what matters most to you. Another actionable tip is to practice
08:41letting go of grudges and grievances. It is self-damaging to hold on to
08:46resentment. This release can incredibly free up emotional energy that's better
08:51invested in your passions and purpose. Lastly embrace change and uncertainty as
08:59part of life's beauty. Instead of fearing change view it as an opportunity for
09:04growth and new experiences. Remember the only constant in life is change and
09:10embracing it is key to living fully. In embracing the fleeting nature of life we
09:17find a compelling reason to live authentically, love deeply, and leave a
09:23legacy of kindness and purpose behind. So let's not waste a single moment. Let's
09:29make it all count. Number five reflect often. An unexamined life is not worth
09:39living. Reflecting often is a powerful tool in our journey to unlock our soul
09:45and discover our purpose. It's through reflection that we gain insights into
09:51our desires, our passions, and the direction we wish our life to take. To
09:55incorporate reflection into your daily routine start with a simple practice.
09:59Allocate a few minutes each day to sit quietly and think about your day. What
10:04were the highs? The lows? What did you learn? This practice doesn't require
10:08anything more than a few moments of your time and an open mind. Journaling is
10:13another powerful reflective tool. A theme that has popped up a few times in this
10:18video, hint hint, write down your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Ask yourself
10:25reflective questions like what am I grateful for? What am I proud of? And what
10:30could I have done better? These questions can lead to profound insights and foster
10:36a mindset of growth and gratitude. Reflection can also be a shared activity.
10:41Engage in deep conversations with trusted friends or family about life,
10:46dreams, and challenges. These discussions can provide different perspectives and
10:51deepen your understanding of yourself and your path. Lastly, don't shy away from
10:57reflecting on the difficult moments. It's often in our struggles that we find our
11:02strength in our purpose. Reflecting on these moments can teach us resilience
11:06and give us clarity on what is truly in. By making reflection a regular part of
11:12our lives, we open ourselves up to continuous learning and growth. We become
11:16more aware of who we are, what we value, and where we want to go. So take the time
11:22to reflect often. It's a simple practice with the power to transform your life.
