00:00Barney is a dinosaur from our imagination, and when he's tall he's what we call a dinosaur sensation.
00:19Barney's friends are big and small, they come from lots of places. After school they meet to play and sing with happy faces.
00:31Barney shows us lots of things, like how to play pretend, ABC's and 1-2-3's and how to be a friend.
00:39Barney comes to play with us whenever we may need him. Barney can be your friend too if you just make believe him.
00:48This is going to be lots of fun. It's easy to make lots of colors when you finger paint. I love to finger paint. Me too.
01:04Green is just the color I need for my picture. What are you going to paint? Well, I'm starting with some green grass.
01:11What are you going to paint, Jeff? Well, I don't really know yet. Can I see what you're painting, Robert? Yeah, in just a minute.
01:18Will you pass the red paint, please? Sure.
01:27This is kind of icky and ooey and fun!
01:41Icky, squishy, gooey, ooey. Icky, squishy, gooey, ew! Icky, squishy, gooey, ooey. Look what we can do!
01:54First up on the icky list. Paint, squeezing through our fists. It's the best, don't you know? Try both hands and let it go. Yuck!
02:08Icky, squishy, gooey, ooey. Icky, squishy, gooey, ew! Icky, squishy, gooey, ooey. Look what we can do!
02:21Spaghetti and pudding, me oh my. Just the right stuff for a goofy pie. Mug puddles still are number one for having some icky, squishy, gooey fun!
02:35Icky, squishy, gooey, ooey. Icky, squishy, gooey, ew! Icky, squishy, gooey, ooey. Look what we can do!
02:48Icky, squishy, gooey, ooey. Icky, squishy, gooey, ew! Icky, squishy, gooey, ooey. Look what we can do!
03:02So what do you think of my tree? Well, it's a very green tree. Almost as green as your hands!
03:09Green? You know, I could use some green. See, I mixed red and blue together to make purple, and I need some green right here to make this look just like...
03:22Barney! Wait!
03:24What's the matter, Jeff?
03:26Well, Barney, we're a little messy.
03:28Because we've been finger painting.
03:30Oh, so I see.
03:32Look at my picture.
03:35Can you guess who it is?
03:37Well, let's see. Lots of purple and a little green. Those are two of the prettiest colors I've ever seen.
03:46Who could it be? Why, I think it looks a lot like me!
03:52That's right, Barney. I painted a picture of you.
03:55Oh, thank you, Robert. I think it's too... appendice!
03:59We'd better get cleaned up.
04:01Yeah, I don't think I want my hands to stay like this.
04:04Oh, right. Well then, let's step right out to the sink. It's the perfect place to wash messy hands.
04:12My mom says it's important to keep my hands clean because it helps me to stay healthy.
04:16That's right, Kristen. Washing your hands before you eat, after you use the bathroom, and when you're finished playing helps keep germs away.
04:25Ooh, this water feels warm.
04:29And don't forget to use some soap, Robert.
04:32This soap makes lots of bubbly suds.
04:36It sure does. To stay healthy and clean, just scrub, scrub, scrub while you make suds, suds, suds.
04:45Squishy, squishy, squashy, give your hands a washy.
04:50Oh, squishy, squishy, squashy, give your hands a washy.
04:56You can't wear out your skin, so squishy, squashy, wash your hands all clean.
05:07Germs are oh so small.
05:10Germs are oh so small.
05:13You can't see them at all.
05:16You can't see them at all.
05:18You can't taste them, you can't see them.
05:21And after you wash, I wouldn't want to be them.
05:25So squishy, squashy, wash your hands all clean.
05:31Squishy, squishy, squashy, give your hands a washy.
05:36Oh, squishy, squishy, squashy, give your hands a washy.
05:42You can't wear out your skin, so squishy, squashy, wash your hands all clean.
05:50You can't wear out your skin, so squishy, squashy, wash your hands all clean.
06:02Squishy, squashy, wash your hands all clean.
06:07Boy, I didn't know getting clean could be so much fun.
06:11Well, as my great-aunt Myrtle used to say...
06:15You want to have too much fun?
06:19Yes, too.
06:22Hi, everybody.
06:23Hi, Barney.
06:25Are you going on a trip?
06:27Well, kind of.
06:28I'm going to a sleepover party.
06:31Oh, boy.
06:32A sleepover's lots of fun.
06:35It really is, especially at Aunt Paula's house.
06:38She gave me this cool suitcase to carry my things in when I sleepover.
06:43See?
06:46I've packed my comb, my brush, and some shampoo.
06:51So you can wash your hair.
06:53Uh-huh. My Aunt Paula and I really have fun pretending we're getting our hair done.
06:58And here's my toothbrush and my toothpaste.
07:01I always brush my teeth before I go to bed.
07:04Me too, Robert.
07:05My aunt says it's important to brush your teeth twice a day so they're clean and healthy.
07:10And for a beautiful smile.
07:14Here are my PJs and my slippers.
07:17And, of course, my favorite doll, Annie.
07:20Oh, it looks like you've packed everything you need for a good night's sleep.
07:25Well, there is one more thing my Aunt Paula does for me before I go to sleep.
07:30What's that?
07:31She sings my favorite bedtime songs.
07:35Twinkle, twinkle, little star
07:39How I wonder what you are
07:43Up above the world so high
07:48Like a diamond in the sky
07:52Twinkle, twinkle, little star
07:56How I wonder what you are
08:04Lullabies make me sleepy.
08:06And speaking of sleeping...
08:10Are you sleeping?
08:12Are you sleeping?
08:14All day long
08:16All day long
08:18Morning bells are ringing
08:21Morning bells are ringing
08:23Ding, ding, dong
08:25Ding, ding, dong
08:29Sleepy time, lullabies.
08:32So what exactly do you do at a sleepover party?
08:36Get ready for bed and sleep?
08:38Well, not before we have some fun.
08:41We usually watch some silly old movies.
08:43And my Aunt makes us lots and lots of popcorn to eat.
08:47Ooh, I love popcorn.
08:49Me too.
08:50You'd really like this popcorn.
08:52My Aunt sprinkles it with yummy toppings.
08:55Oh, yum. That sounds delicious.
08:59I could eat some popcorn right now.
09:01Let's make some.
09:03That's a great idea.
09:05There's nothing better than popcorn.
09:08It's fun to make and even more fun to eat.
09:12Hey, did someone say popcorn?
09:15Why, I love popcorn almost as much as nuts.
09:18Oh, popcorn is delicious.
09:21Especially caramel popcorn.
09:24It's quite delicious indeed.
09:26I can almost taste it now.
09:28Oh, you're making me really hungry, Miss Anna.
09:31Hey, guys, let me make the popcorn.
09:36I'll meet you up in the treehouse.

11:42Wow.
11:44Well, Sissy, if my nose knows anything,
11:47it knows that yummy smell is coming from inside the treehouse.
11:52Oh, I hope your nose is right because I'm right behind you.
11:58Hey, guys.
11:59Hey, PJ.
12:00Hi, guys.
12:01Do I smell popcorn?
12:03Oh, you sure do.
12:04Would you like to have some with us?
12:06Oh, you bet.
12:07I want some.
12:08Oh, yummy.

12:19My mom says I should always brush my teeth after I eat.
12:23Oh, that's right, Jeff.
12:25Brushing your teeth after eating helps keep your teeth clean and safe from germs.
12:30Worms?
12:31Are there worms on our teeth?
12:35Why?
12:37Why?
12:38Ay-yi-yi, Sissy.
12:40He said germs, not worms.
12:43Oh.
12:45Well, it still sounds pretty yucky, Barney.
12:48Oh, well, Baby Bop, we can get rid of germs by brushing our teeth up and down and all around.
12:55Oh, that's good because I like to brush my teeth.
12:58You know, maybe we should brush our teeth now since we just ate popcorn.
13:02Oh, that's a great idea, Kristen.

20:15Okay, Barney, next time I'll try to remember to cover my nose and mouth.
20:21Okay, here you go, B.J.
20:23This will help.
20:25If you feel another sneeze sneaking up on you,
20:28just turn your head and sneeze into this.
20:31Okay, thanks, Barney.
20:33Maybe I should try blowing my nose.
20:36Uh-oh.
20:39Oh, look out, Barney!
20:41Whoa, bless you again.
20:44With our friends at school and play,
20:47we share and share alike each day.
20:50I'll share a toy, you'll share a snack.
20:53You'll share with me and I'll share right back.
20:56But there is one thing that you should not share.
21:00Keep your sneeze to yourself,
21:03don't share your germs with anyone else.
21:07Get a tissue off the shelf
21:09and keep your sneeze to yourself.
21:14With our friends at school and play,
21:18we share and share alike each day.
21:21I'll share a ball, you'll share a game.
21:24You'll share with me and I'll do the same.
21:27But there is one thing that you should not share.
21:31Keep your sneeze to yourself,
21:34don't share your germs with anyone else.
21:38Turn your head and cover your mouth
21:40and keep your sneeze to yourself.
21:44Every time after a sneeze,
21:47give your hands a scrub.
21:49If you think you're going to sneeze,
21:52get a tissue off the shelf
21:55and keep your sneeze to yourself.
22:00And keep your sneeze to yourself.

22:25Or at least a little nap.
22:28Come on, Sissy. Let's go home.
22:37Very good, PJ.
22:39That was a very polite sneeze.
22:42PJ, I'm ready to go now.
22:46Bye-bye, everybody.
22:48Bye, Baby Bot. It's time to go.
22:53Is it time for you to go to your sleepover yet?

22:59I know it can be really hard to wait for something fun,
23:04especially a sleepover party.
23:06It sure is, Barney.
23:08Can we go back to the classroom now?
23:10You're supposed to pick me up there, and I don't want to miss her.
23:13Why, sure, Anna. Let's go.

23:37And how I feel when I know my cousin is coming over to play for the day.
23:41It's very exciting to spend special times with family and friends.
23:46Oh, Aunt Paula and I always have a wonderful time when we're together.
23:50And I always have a super-dee-duper time when I'm with all of you.

25:44The fun and learning never end.
25:46Here's what we did today.
25:49Finger painting is a fun way to get messy.
25:52And washing your hands with warm, soapy water is a great way to clean up.
25:56BJ learned to cover his mouth and nose when he sneezes,
25:59so he doesn't share germs.
26:01And it's important to brush your teeth after you eat.
26:04Keeping clean keeps you healthy.
26:07And remember, I love you.
