00:253,855 tests at sea, 24% more than the previous edition.
00:32These are some of the excellent results of the 64th edition of the International Nautical Salon of Genoa, which tell in numerical terms the enthusiasm and the positive feeling had by the visitors, despite the adverse weather on Monday.
00:47The exhibitors were very happy, they saw the Salon welcoming visitors in a more extensive environment, a very complete, continuous and uninterrupted tour, in an environment of a renewed waterfront, which is very rewarding.
01:04Also the fact of being able to enter through the transport was a rewarding thing, which made our customers, the customers of our shipyards, our exhibitors, enter feeling already in a very positive mood.
01:16We hear the numbers and of course we will see them at the end of the year, we will see them in the future, however, think that the data of the sea tests, plus 24%, already testifies to what was the enthusiasm, the enthusiasm of the visitors, the interest that there was for the demonstration towards the Nautica.
01:35And it is a very positive thing if we think about it, because if we think that what had suffered a little in these years, what our partners, our exhibitors, that is, the Nautica of smaller dimensions, the Nautica of smaller dimensions is what makes it the protagonist in the sea tests.
01:49Seeing a motorway of the sea, of boats that entered and left during the weekend in the sea test with enthusiastic people, this makes us think that there is a renewed interest and enthusiasm that makes us hope for the future.
02:02The 64th edition of the Nautica Salon was very important for the sector, as it has been confirmed as a showcase of international nautical and the great Italian nautical industry.
02:13We presented the numbers of the sector in 2023, with a double growth for the seventh year of 13.6%, an important growth also in the occupation, which grew by 7.2%, thus exceeding 200,000 additives in the row and 30,000 direct additives.
02:37We had the confirmation of our industry as the first export country in the world with a worldwide export quota of 19.3%, but this Salon was also the Salon in which we finally had the confirmation of the approval and regulation of the code of the Nautica, which brings important simplifications for users, for small nautical producers, for large nautical producers.
03:05It was the Salon in which we talked a lot, it was our guiding thread, that of sustainability and green innovation. The Nautica Salon obtained the ISO 2121 certification for the design of an entirely sustainable event, this was a source of pride for us.
