00:00I think you know at IKEA obviously we live and breathe the importance of home
00:04and we have this partnership with shelter and we're reading their recent
00:09statistics and their recent analysis and we were frankly horrified, horrified to
00:14think that there are so many children in our local communities living in this
00:18situation. I mean I'm a mother myself, I have two small children, I know how
00:24important it is that they get a good night's sleep, that they eat a
00:27nutritious meal and you think of all those families forced to live in this
00:31really unsuitable temporary accommodation, one in three of these
00:36children sharing a bed, no place to cook meals, no place for the children to play
00:41or do their homework. I think we all felt you know that claustrophobia a little
00:47bit during COVID but can you imagine if you and your whole family were in one
00:50room? And the fact that we even call it temporary accommodation, I mean
00:55statistics show that almost half of the people living in temporary accommodation
00:59are there for over two years. This is you know a really systematic problem that we
01:05felt we wanted to address, that we wanted to make our customers aware of and we're
01:10really proud to shine a light on to try to get a conversation going around this.
