00:53Obaseki being a Benin man could respect the palace and the traditions of Edo people.
00:59In a manner that appeared furious, the Benin Monarch confronted Adams Oshomole, called
01:05one of the palace chiefs who may be an eyewitness during Adams Oshomole's visit then, and stressed
01:11he never talked against Godwin Obaseki or advised Adams Oshomole against Godwin Obaseki
01:17as his choice to support as successor.

01:27A video posted online showed that Adams Oshomole quickly tendered apology for the statement.
01:35We had reported that the last Saturday Edo state gubernatorial election appeared to be

01:49Edo North and FCT minister, Adams Oshomole and Nyesomweke respectively.

03:41Governor Obaseki had refused to sign the traditional routine peace accord agreement on the ground
03:46that those who ought to be the promoters of peace are already causing violence ahead the
03:51gubernatorial election by thus intimidating, harassing and arresting members of his political
03:56party, PDP, to weaken the chances of PDP winning the areas where the arrested and detained
04:04party chieftains held from, saying, the authorities and the federal government are doing so for
