John Leguizamo thinks Kamala Harris needs more than just Taylor Swift's endorsement to beat Donald Trump in November ... he says she needs a celeb from the Latin community too.

00:00Kamala Harris is polling at around 55% for the Latina vote, Joe Biden polled 61%.
00:12But Trump is low, but Trump is nowhere near those numbers.
00:16Well Trump's at 35%.
00:19I thought he was in the 40s.
00:20Kamala is still doing way better and you just got to be more aggressive.
00:25You got to court us.
00:26We're not going to be there waiting for you.
00:28You got to come to us and give us what we need.
00:31You got to have Latin consultants, you have to have Latin experts, you have to talk about
00:34our issues, you have to come into our communities.
00:37You got to have people that look like us and represent us by your side.
00:40You got to have Bad Bunny on one side and Miracle Prayer on the other.
00:45That is an interesting point because a lot was made about Taylor Swift's endorsement
00:50a few weeks ago.
00:52And there are people who would like to see someone from the Latino community, a big celebrity,
00:57an artist, step forward with an endorsement like that.
01:01You mentioned Bad Bunny there.
01:04Is that something that you think would really make a difference?
01:07I think for the young folk, definitely.
01:08I mean, Bad Bunny is the biggest artist in the world, in the world, and really huge in
01:14the Latin community.
01:15So he would get some of the young folk out there for it.
01:19And you know, the Latino population, the majority of us are under 26 years old.
01:24I mean, I'm just a little bit above that.
01:26Just slightly.
01:27Just slightly.
01:28Just slightly.
01:29Just 28.
01:30Donald Trump, I saw a poll over the weekend, he is going up in terms of, you know, courting
01:36the-
01:37Arizona.
01:38Yeah.
01:39Yeah.
01:40So he's going upward.
01:41Trending up.
01:42So is it inflation?
01:44What is it that is driving people toward him and I guess by definition away from Kamala
01:51Harris?
01:52Well, you know, Latino people are not a monolith, you know, we're just not.
01:55No group is.
01:56No group is.
01:57No group is.
01:58Right.
01:59So religious Latinos are, you know, they're anti-abortion and and homophobic.
02:07And so, yeah, I mean, you know, you might get them because the thing that Latinos care
02:13most about is jobs and housing.
02:17You know, so if you if you're talking about startup businesses, Latino women are number
02:23one startup businesses in America.
02:26And we we always Latinos poll very large in keeping the housing market going.
02:31Usually it's 60 percent of housing sales.
02:36So if you're talking in Kamala brought up those points and she's got to keep hitting
02:39those points.
02:40You know, I read an article a month or so ago, which was really interesting.
02:45And they were talking about this whole phenomenon that why Latino voters seem to be moving away
02:51from the Democrats, you know, over time.
02:53And the premise of this article was that there are a lot of Latino Americans who came in
03:02here legally.
03:03And there's almost a resentment of anybody who comes in illegally or even if they come
03:10in, for example, based on political asylum, which has really been opened up over the last
03:15four years.
03:16No, I think I think that's true.
03:18I think a lot of immigrants who came here, you know, are competitive with other immigrants
03:24coming in for some weird reason and have no sympathy or empathy for people looking for
03:29a better life.
03:30Having nobody wants to come through the border that way.
03:33Nobody wants to do that.
03:34You only do that if you have no other option, if you're running away from violence, starving
03:38to death.
03:39I mean, why are you going to risk your life for a better life because they're only coming
03:43here to work to get a job?
03:45No American would risk their life for a job.
