00:00A 7-year-old girl in Bagong Silang, Caloocan died a few hours after being stung by a snake.

00:13Her mother saw the snake inside their house, near the child's bed.

00:19The child was tried to be admitted to the hospital after experiencing pain in the stomach and vomiting,

00:25but she did not survive.

00:27This is Bea Pinlac.

00:32A 7-year-old girl in Bagong Silang, Caloocan died a few hours after being stung by a snake.

00:38Her mother saw the snake inside their house, near the child's bed.

00:45When she was dreaming, it was not just for herself.

00:48All of us were there.

00:49She said, I want to see it on TV.

00:51But why?

00:53She saw it, but she was already dead.

00:55James and his sister were still sleeping next to the bed when they were quickly taken out of their mother's house

01:02after noticing the moving snake at the door.

01:06At that time, James was already expecting pain in his stomach.

01:10She said, my stomach hurts, help me.

01:12Then I called my husband.

01:14I said, your son is delirious, he is vomiting.

01:18I said, his stomach hurts.

01:20Then he vomited.

01:22Then he vomited.

01:24I told him, come on son, let's go to the hospital.

01:26A few hours later, James was rushed to the hospital.

01:29But he was declared dead on arrival.

01:32Based on the death certificate of the child,

01:34he died of stomach pain and dehydration.

01:38It was the last time they noticed that James had a wound on his hand

01:42because he was stung by a snake.

01:44James' father was at work at that time, so he could not save his son.

01:50I cried a lot.

01:52I felt bad because I was far away when he passed away.

01:58I didn't know that it was them.

02:11Their neighbor caught and killed the snake near James' house.

02:16It is not yet known what kind and if the snake is venomous.

02:21This kind of incident is rare in the barangay.
