Air Ambulance Aur Bohat Kuch.. Shehrion Ke Thafz Mein Jadeed Training Ke Istemal Honay Walay Alat..
Transcript
00:00So this is a UN certified site, which has a 4-story building collapse, which has all kinds of possible scenarios.
00:06If there is a horizontal approach, a round channel, a vertical, an underground snake channel, a confined space, a narrow channel, some ditches, a square channel.
00:14So we specifically designed this with our UN mentors and today this site is being properly trained.
00:21So let me show you, if you have any metal or concrete, first you have to cut it, then you have to go inside the tunnels and search for it.
00:32This is not an easy task. Sometimes it takes 2-3 days to get inside.
00:36I can relate to this because when we go to report, I have been to Turkey and other places where there are incidents like this.
00:44So of course, we are also trying to go close to the Malba and show the situation inside.
00:49So this is a very scary thing that a person is going inside the Malba and trying to save a life.
00:55And in such a situation, don't forget that he is getting a little shock.
00:59Yes, your shock is also like that.
01:01All the equipment that is used here, you can see it being used here.
01:07And with that, let me show you, all the equipment is here.
01:12These are lifting bags, from 26 tons to different weights that can be lifted.
01:19So this is of 26 tons, these are spreaders, these are combi tools, these are crushers.
01:26So in the same way, this is all the equipment that is used.
01:29These are chainsaws and this was the most effective thing for us, the life and motion tracer.
01:33This was a big advantage for us there.
01:35Because of this, we could see inside if someone was alive or not.
01:38One of the most unique things in Turkey, I still don't forget that,
01:41where we were seeing the lives of the living people, we saw small movements there.
01:46So we realized that their cats or their animals, especially cats, had not left them.
01:52And they were moving in such narrow spaces that we could see them moving here.
01:57Now instead of entering completely, you can make a hole and see if there is a victim inside.
02:02And we are seeing the visuals inside.
02:04So you don't have to go inside completely, you can just make a hole and check if there is a victim inside.
02:09Then you will do the entire operation for getting the victim out.
02:18You can see this, this is our runway, if you put it on it.
02:21And this is the model training simulator that we made,
02:25because this was not the only important thing in the air, its training was also very important.
02:29So this is a new initiative of our Prime Minister of Punjab,
02:33in which when he said from remote areas, like Bakkar, Mianwali and Bahawalnagar,
02:38which used to take 4-4 hours, today with the help of this, the critical and serious patients...
02:42And the actual air ambulance is comparatively bigger in size.
02:45Bigger in size.
02:47This is a model that we took a plane,
02:49and if this environment can work, then obviously it becomes easier to fly.
02:54So there were 6 people in this, and normally the people who go here at this time,
02:57there are two pilots, one is our doctor, one is the patient and one is the attendant who goes with him.
03:03So let's show you how, if he is sitting inside, the monitor is on,
03:08the oxygen supply system is present in it, and with the help of this,
03:11this is an automatic external defibrillator, in this there is a transport ventilator.
03:14Now we will do patient shifting and show you.
03:19So one patient and one attendant will come together and take two pilots.
03:23And when the distance is more than 100 miles, this fixed-wing aircraft is recommended.
03:27Thank God, in Punjab, I can say that in Lahore, in Girdhonwaha, in Sialkot,
03:32in all places, the hospital is present within an hour.
03:35Great.
03:35So here is the ventilator and here is the automatic external defib.
03:39All these things are present in it.
03:42You will take the patient and now you are ready to fly the plane.
03:46Absolutely.
03:47So sir, this is the initiative of the air ambulance,
03:50this is a recent government initiative?
03:51When we presented the data, we came to know that there were 1540 such cases,
03:59which were from Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar and Mianwali in 2023,
04:03where there was no specialized hospital,
04:05so if there is a patient with a serious head injury, a heart patient,
04:08we had to take him to Muntan or Bahawalpur or somewhere else,
04:11so it used to take a lot of time there.
04:13So for such patients, as they said, what is recommended in the world,
04:17so there was an air ambulance there, so that's why we started this air ambulance.
04:20And in 2024?
04:22Yes, in 2024, we started it in May,
04:25its pilot testing was done, all the things were done,
04:27we trained doctors from the Vakayda Aviation School,
04:30so this is a completely separate department,
04:32and we are gradually developing it,
04:36so that in mountainous areas, wherever we have to rescue, we meet there.
04:40And sir, when the 1122 number was being finalized,
04:44I am sure you must have had your input in it,
04:46what did you think behind it?
04:48There was a lot of debate, that this should be such an emergency number.
04:51Because 9-1-1 was obviously in everyone's mind.
04:53This was in those days when there was a dial phone,
04:55so if you look at Europe, the number is 112.
04:57So if we start 9-1-1, which once started here in the middle,
05:01but no one thought about why we didn't make 9-1-1.
05:04Today, all our government exchanges start with 9,
05:06which means all the government exchanges are closed,
05:08and we get a lot of false calls.
05:10So that's why 1-1-2-2,
05:12the first two digits are there, which you can easily remember,
05:15so that's why this number was introduced.
05:17And that's why Europe made the emergency number 1-1-2.
05:20That's great.
05:21Let's go.
05:36Sir, we are moving towards the end of the program,
05:39and we would like you to tell us about our heroes,
05:44those who sacrificed their lives to save the lives of others.
05:47These are the martyrs of the rescue.
05:50Their story is a little less,
05:52but today we would like to pay tribute to them.
05:54These are our real martyred rescuers,
05:56who put their lives in danger and saved others' lives.
06:00There are many people, like Wasim,
06:02what they did was, when there was a fire,
06:05and when they opened the fire,
06:07a pressure effect was created.
06:09And there were 3-4 people there,
06:11who were pushed back so that they don't fall into the fire.
06:15And in that process, he lost his own life.
06:18So there are many such heroes,
06:20many of them drowned.
06:21And similarly, our Gakhar Plaza was the biggest for us, 9-11.
06:2513 firefighters lost their lives there.
06:28What are their families, what are their honors?
06:31Obviously, this is very respectable.
06:34For them, we have a double compensation mechanism.
06:37They get a formal package of the martyr,
06:39and after that, we look after their families throughout.
06:41Right.
06:45This is our scout key.
06:46This is an honor for me.
06:47We only give this to him,
06:48because he works with us voluntarily.
06:50Definitely.
06:52So today, you are our rescue scout,
06:54and you are also becoming an ambassador.
06:57We congratulate you on becoming a scout.
07:00Thank you so much.
07:01Thank you, sir.
07:03Thank you very much.
07:04So congratulations on becoming a rescue scout.
07:06I am so honored. Thank you.
07:07Sir, is there anything that you share with people?
07:10Because the calls that come in,
07:12because you are in contact with people on a daily basis.
07:14Is there anything that you share with people?
07:16I am only familiar with three things with people.
07:18First of all,
07:19today you saw that 27,000 calls came in.
07:22There were 6,700 emergency calls.
07:24The rest that call us irrelevant,
07:26that information,
07:27That was 21,000.
07:28This is 27,000.
07:29So in this, emergency,
07:30the number, this is the emergency number,
07:32call us in an emergency at any time,
07:33so that we can be at your rescue on time.
07:35But don't call for no reason.
07:36If there are 6,000 out of 27,000 emergency calls,
07:38One or two calls,
07:40it will be 10,000.
07:41But still, it is a very big number.
07:43So don't call us for no reason.
07:45Number one.
07:46Number two,
07:47if today you saw that there is an accident every 15 minutes,
07:49then the families,
07:50whether it is their parents,
07:52whether it is their children,
07:53or their wife,
07:54whoever their family is,
07:56I tell them that
07:57whenever they go out on a motorbike,
07:59tell them to go out on time,
08:00so that they don't rush.
08:01Keep your speed less than 50,
08:03and go in the side lane.
08:04So that, God forbid,
08:05if there is an accident,
08:07you are not seriously injured,
08:09and your life is saved.
08:11So don't put your life in danger.
08:14Third,
08:15I will appeal to everyone,
08:16and especially to your volunteers,
08:18that today,
08:20we have made a rescue system.
08:23And today, thank God,
08:24in 7 to 8 minutes,
08:25they reach you immediately.
08:27But whenever you call,
08:28it will take time for them to come.
08:30And if, God forbid,
08:32someone has a cardiac arrest,
08:33then in that case,
08:34if the brain does not get blood
08:36and oxygen for 4 minutes,
08:38then brain damage starts.
08:40So that is why I will appeal to people,
08:42that you all become a pure lifesaver.
08:45We have made this process very easy.
08:47You just have to download an app,
08:49Park Lifesaver,
08:50you will get online training on that.
08:52On social media,
08:53where you waste so much time,
08:54download the Park Lifesaver app,
08:55you can get online training on that.
08:57Tomorrow, God forbid,
08:58if there is an emergency in your house,
09:00then immediately,
09:01you will be able to save a loved one's life.
09:04Or if you are working somewhere,
09:06or you are travelling somewhere,
09:07and someone has an emergency there,
09:08you will be able to save a life there too.
09:10So it is said,
09:11the one who has saved a life,
09:12has saved the whole of humanity.
09:13So thank God,
09:14that you will also be a part of that.
09:17So I will appeal to you
09:18to save the 7 to 8 lives of Rescue 112.
09:21Change a little bit of your attitude
09:24so that you remain safe,
09:26even while travelling,
09:27and promote safety.
09:29So that we can remember a safe Pakistan.
09:32Sir, thank you so much.
09:33On behalf of me,
09:34on behalf of Team Saryam,
09:35and on behalf of the whole of Pakistan,
09:37thank you so much.
09:38And thank you to all the rescue workers
09:40who are working right now.
09:42Thank you so much, sir.
09:43I am very proud of you.
