A gym chain has launched ballet classes - for dads only.
The sessions - run by David Lloyd Clubs - are designed to teach dads the pirouette, fouetté, and penché while spending quality time with their kids.
Olympic gold medalist Greg Rutherford was among the fathers to take part.
The London 2012 long jump gold medalist, who took part in the class with his daughter Daphne [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YE4jO_j0UJA], said: “I’m no stranger to dancing but having the chance to get involved with my daughter by my side has been really special.

00:20But, it's not always that easy.
00:22So today, I've come down with Daphne to try one of David Lloyd Club's brand new classes, Daddy Ballet.
00:28This is going to be really exciting.
00:29I'm definitely going to look like a bit of a wally at times, I can imagine.
00:31But I'm going to learn, I'm going to have so much fun.
00:33I cannot wait for it.
00:38We'll welcome boys and girls to Daddy Ballet, the perfect way to spend quality time together.
00:48Research is showing that dads want to spend more time with their kids.
00:51Often, two thirds of dads are taking their kids to lots of sporting events and clubs, etc.
00:55But only a third of them are ever getting involved with it.
00:57And that sometimes comes down to the fact that they've never learnt the skills themselves.
01:01They've never been involved with certain clubs and things.
01:03But it's nothing like just playing and getting involved and watching the sports and having fun with them.
01:13That guilt is something that I really suffer with at times.
01:15But again today, this is going to be something where I just have a lot of fun and really spend that quality time with my daughter.
01:26I had an absolute blast giving Daddy Ballet a go.
