Miracle Doctor Episode 77

Ali is the son of a poor family who grew up in a provincial city. Due to his autism and savant syndrome, he has been constantly excluded and marginalized. Ali has difficulty communicating, and has two friends in his life: His brother and his rabbit. Ali loses both of them and now has only one wish: Saving people. After his brother's death, Ali is disowned by his father and grows up in an orphanage. Dr Adil discovers that Ali has tremendous medical skills due to savant syndrome and takes care of him. After attending medical school and graduating at the top of his class, Ali starts working as an assistant surgeon at the hospital where Dr Adil is the head physician. Although some people in the hospital administration say that Ali is not suitable for the job due to his condition, Dr Adil stands behind Ali and gets him hired. Ali will change everyone around him during his time at the hospital

00:21I don't think anything like this has ever happened to me.
00:41What's going on here?
00:43Ali!
00:47What's going on here?
00:48Ali!
00:50Mind your own business. Come on!
00:58Ali, what are you doing?
01:01What are you doing?
01:05Come here.
01:07Come.
01:18What are you doing, son?
01:21Are you okay?
01:24I'm fine, Mr. Tanju.
01:26Were you on duty or something? Are you sleepy?
01:29Are you meditating or something?
01:32Ali, what are you doing?
01:34You're an assistant surgeon, you're a big man.
01:37What are you doing in the middle of the corridor, in front of the people?
01:41Were you dreaming or something?
01:46I was looking for a way.
01:48A way?
01:50What way?
01:53Look, if you're up to something, I'll find it on you.
01:57Ali, what way?
02:01It would be more accurate if I didn't tell you this.
02:04Look, don't say I'm doing something stupid.
02:07Ali, I can't handle another case.
02:09Are you a problem for me?
02:11Are you a problem for me?
02:14Are you a problem for me?
02:15Are you a problem for me?
02:17God, if I had sinned against you, you would have given me a crippled child.
02:22He's not crippled, he's not my mother.
02:26You're here again.
02:29Ahmet!
02:31Move, move, move.
02:33Get up, get up.
02:35Okay, I'll show you.
02:37No.
02:39I'll show you.
02:41No.
02:43No.
02:45Ali!
02:59Ali!
03:00Ali!
03:26Your lunchtime is here, and I took and brought the things you like.
03:28Thank you, Naz.
03:30Toast.
03:34Toast.
03:39Come on.
03:47Didn't you like it?
03:50Very nice. Thank you very much.
03:53Don't worry about Tanj.
03:55Ali, nothing will happen.
03:57We won't have to make a choice.
04:00We'll get through this.
04:02It's not that.
04:04I'm thinking about my patient.
04:07We opened the airway.
04:09He can breathe without a tube now.
04:11That's great.
04:13But he still can't talk.
04:15Can't he do a throat transplant from a cadaver?
04:18No.
04:20At that age, the possibility of a child rejecting tissue is very high.
04:23The pharmacist said that option was eliminated.
04:25Then we'll have to wait for him to grow up.
04:28If he doesn't learn how to talk now, he won't be able to talk again.
04:31Ali.
04:33No, I'm going to do some research.
04:35Ali, wait. Didn't the case close?
04:37No, I didn't close it.
04:39He has to talk, Nazlı. He has to talk.
04:41I said Ali.
04:45Look, I don't want to worry you.
04:48But the situation is very sensitive.
04:51If you act according to your head, Tanju will get angry again.
04:53If you act according to your head.
04:57If you don't do it once.
04:59For today.
05:01Ali.
05:04For us.
05:21He has to talk, Nazlı.
05:23He has to tell his problems.
05:26Otherwise, no one will understand him.
05:29He has to talk.
05:31He has to talk.
05:41How was Ali?
05:43He was fine, sir.
05:45He didn't do anything to the patient, did he?
05:47Or didn't he terrorize the family?
05:49No, he just fixed his breathing pulse.
05:51We're going to have an abortion tomorrow anyway.
05:53You're following him until he gets out of the hospital.
05:56I want it to be over before there's a problem, okay?
05:59Okay, sir.
06:01Damla.
06:03It seems like Demir and Nazlı are up to something.
06:07Do you have any information?
06:11No, sir.
06:13Am I going to come and tell you everything that's going on in the hospital?
06:18Because that wasn't my intention.
06:21What happened? Are you sick?
06:24Look, girl, I don't care what your intention is.
06:28I'm just hopeful of you.
06:30Please don't waste my hopes.
06:33Okay?
06:45I found it.
06:47I found it.
06:49We're going to invest in a new clinic tonight.
06:51A new clinic?
06:53What do you mean?
06:55There are a lot of beds there.
06:57People come in and out all the time.
06:59Half of them have no identity.
07:01No one will understand.
07:05Nazlı, are you out of your mind?
07:07Are we going to invest in a secret clinic?
07:14You're already there, Demir.
07:17I made myself write it down.
07:18I'm going to keep an eye on everything.
07:20I'm not going to run away.
07:22I can't believe we're talking about this.
07:24What's the point of investing in a secret clinic?
07:27Why? Are we crazy?
07:29Because he needs it.
07:32Okay, he might have done something really bad.
07:35But do we have to punish him right away?
07:37Can't you give him a chance?
07:39He's still young, Demir.
07:44Okay, let's say we invested in a secret clinic.
07:47Are we going to do the surgery ourselves?
07:49Or are you saying, we're in the world of crime.
07:52Let's steal the equipment from the hospital.
07:54We'll do the surgery in your house.
07:56I'll help Ali.
07:58You're together.
08:00Great.
08:02Don't be ridiculous.
08:04Of course, we'll tell Mr. Sultan from my point of view.
08:06But until we call the police,
08:08maybe we'll find a way to save Ä°lhan.
08:10We'll find him.
08:12We'll find him tonight.
08:13You had a look at a barter case this morning.
08:18Where's the report?
08:23Sir, well...
08:25What, sir?
08:27What? I'm listening, tell me.
08:29If you don't know how to write a report,
08:32you won't look at the patient, Demir.
08:35I was going to write it, sir.
08:37But I'm so sorry.
08:39We gave him mucilage,
08:41observed the barter movements,
08:43and then we stabbed the patient.
08:45He was very interested in other cases,
08:47so I skipped him.
08:49I'm so sorry, it won't happen again.
08:51It won't happen again, sir.
08:53Yeah.
08:56That report will be on my desk for 15 minutes.
09:00Fifteen.
09:01Fifteen.
09:07What are you doing to me?
09:10You were like a peanut, girl.
09:12Did you finish it?
09:24You'll have to come back for the rabies vaccine, Aunt Naciye.
09:27Okay.
09:29Look, I took your date here.
09:43How much time do you have left?
09:45I can't make it, beauty.
09:47I have a shift, I have to go on.
09:49What shift?
09:52Demir, I wish you had told me.
09:54I would have prepared myself.
09:56Where did the shift come from?
09:58I don't know, Tanju teacher told me.
09:59Tanju teacher?
10:01I was with Tanju teacher all day.
10:03Why didn't he tell me?
10:05I'm Tanju teacher's watchman, Aunt Naciye.
10:07How should I know?
10:09Why are you getting mad at me now?
10:11Then don't bother me.
10:13It's a shift, I love it.
10:15Okay, okay, super.
10:17I hope your shift goes well, okay?
10:19Aunt Naciye.
10:21Aunt Naciye, Aunt Naciye, Aunt Naciye.
10:23I'm sorry, I'm really sorry.
10:25You're really bothering me.
10:27Okay, then let's go to the concert this weekend, huh?
10:30Forgive yourself.
10:32Tell me something, I'm starting to feel really bad about those concerts.
10:36Let's eat alone, huh?
10:39A kiss from the belly.
10:47Okay, then I'll give you my favorite make-up product.
10:50What is this?
10:54You love it so much.
10:58Look, Demir, I forgive you this time.
11:01But Demir, if you explode me like this again,
11:05I swear to you, I'll explode you at the same speed.
11:08Do you understand?
11:10Okay.
11:20Okay.
11:41What are you doing there?
11:45I'm working.
11:47What are you working on?
11:50I'm working.
11:55Ali, this is not over.
11:57We did the surgery, we did it.
11:59What are you after?
12:03I want him to talk.
12:05Ali, he's talking in sign language.
12:07They'll make fun of him, too.
12:09Ali, we convinced him to do the surgery.
12:11Nobody wants more.
12:13Look, you're following Mr. Tanju.
12:15Let go of this.
12:21You won't let go, will you?
12:34Ali.
12:38I can't protect you until you die.
12:41Okay?
12:50Okay.
13:21A new clinic has opened in the hospital.
13:24We'll take you there tonight.
13:27Really?
13:29And then?
13:31We can't do the surgery ourselves.
13:33We'll let our teacher know at some point, I guess.
13:38Is he someone who understands you?
13:41He wouldn't let the police know, would he?
13:43It depends on what's inside.
13:45Ilhan.
13:47I'll take you there.
13:49I don't want to lie to you.
13:52If you really swallowed something illegal,
13:55we have to tell the police.
13:58You promised not to tell the police.
14:01Ilhan.
14:03Don't laugh.
14:06Do you know what happens if one of them explodes?
14:12Let me tell you.
14:13First you'll fall weak.
14:15Then you'll get cold.
14:17You'll get as cold as you've never been before.
14:20Then your lungs and lungs will be filled with fluids.
14:25You'll ask for help.
14:28You'll want to scream, but you won't.
14:31No one will hear you.
14:33No one will come to you.
14:35Do you understand?
14:36No one will come to you.
14:38Do you understand?
14:55Okay, we'll send you.
15:00Demir.
15:02Can you take care of the documents?
15:07Yes.
15:22I know what you've been through.
15:24How do you know?
15:26You're a doctor.
15:28I was the last commie.
15:30Before that, I was a laundry man, a dishwasher, a carpenter.
15:33Take it easy.
15:35Sit down.
15:37Look.
15:39I grew up in very difficult conditions.
15:42My father was very strict.
15:44He would spend whatever he had on himself.
15:47You know the jobs you just mentioned?
15:51I've worked so much in a lot of jobs like them before I became a doctor.
15:55You can't even imagine how these hands got in and out of work.
15:59You're out of your mind.
16:05Ilhan.
16:07I really want to help you.
16:11I know you have nothing to do with drugs.
16:14I believe you.
16:16Just give me some time.
16:18Just for tonight.
16:20Okay?
16:22Okay.
16:23Just for tonight.
16:26I'll treat you without an identity.
16:29And I'll find a way to make sure nothing happens to you.
16:32Okay?
16:36If I can't find it,
16:38then you'll leave.
16:50Just for tonight.
16:51Okay?
17:05Adil.
17:13Here.
17:15See for yourself.
17:17Good.
17:19You gave up on Sedef's case.
17:21I didn't give up.
17:23I told Ali.
17:25He gave up.
17:27Tanju, as you can see,
17:29there's nothing to grow up on.
17:32If you thought about the department as much as you thought about that kid,
17:35you'd give me the right, believe me.
17:38Tanju.
17:40Stop following Ali.
17:47What happens if I don't?
17:50Then I'll have something to say about you in that department.
18:00Are you threatening me now?
18:02Never.
18:04I'm talking to you like you do.
18:07Believe me, I'm glad to hear that.
18:09Just wait one more day for this case to close.
18:11We won't need this war between us then.
18:14See?
18:16I'm so fair, aren't I?
18:19Good night.
18:26Good night.
18:41Good night.
18:57Ali.
18:59I'm going to the new clinic.
19:01I have a night shift.
19:04But if you want...
19:06See you tomorrow.
19:11See you tomorrow.
19:42I have 15 minutes. How are you?
19:45I'm fine.
19:47He's sleeping, Ilhan.
19:50Did he try to steal something? Did he fight with someone?
19:54I'm telling you, Demir is sleeping.
20:03Did you tell Ace?
20:06Yes, I did.
20:07I told him...
20:09I told him we hid the baggage in the new clinic with Nazli.
20:12Don't call him a baggage.
20:14We don't even know what's in his stomach.
20:17If nothing bad had happened, we would have told Nazli.
20:24What did you tell Ali?
20:30I told him I have a night shift.
20:32So?
20:34What are we going to do?
20:35Did you find anything?
20:36I don't know. I'm thinking.
20:39Don't panic. He'll be here before dawn.
20:43We don't have much time.
20:45Okay, why are you getting on my nerves?
20:48We're trying to save a young boy's life.
20:51It's an important matter.
20:54His life won't change without the rashes in his stomach, Nazli.
21:04Where did we get into this?
21:06I don't know.
21:12I found it!
21:14What?
21:15I found out how we're going to get out of this.
21:16All of us.
21:20Look at the baby.
21:31When is Berk going to be discharged?
21:33This afternoon.
21:37Guys, let's wrap this up before Ali makes a mistake.
21:39I don't want anything else.
21:41I hope so.
21:43I hope so.
21:44I have a question.
21:47Are they happy?
21:52Very.
21:54Really?
21:56Really.
21:59I'm getting emotional.
22:02The hospital has turned into Dallas.
22:06What else was going to happen?
22:07We haven't seen anyone but each other.
22:12What?
22:13What does that mean?
22:16Did you fall in love with me because you had to?
22:19Because you can't see anyone here?
22:21How can that be?
22:22Look, my queen.
22:24If I saw a thousand people a day, I'd still fall in love with you.

27:59I can't talk.
28:00I can't talk.
28:01I can't talk.
28:02Wait.
28:03Denmen, you have to get me the heart.
28:04Good
28:15day sirs.
28:22Didn't I tell you? The kid is screaming that he's guilty.
28:25What are you waiting for?
28:27Let's operate on someone who doesn't have an ID.
28:29And then you say we should call the police.
28:31Because Azal is not a gangster, he's just a kid.
28:34Just a kid.
28:36You should see how much help he needs.
28:38He did everything for his sister.
28:42Demir, I'm telling you, he's the right man for you.
28:45You're being ridiculous every time, son.
28:48We'll talk about this later.
28:51Nazlı, when it comes to you.
28:53While Ali was in the market robbery, didn't we treat the attacker with you?
28:57Teacher, didn't you ask me to get me out of this case?
29:02Didn't you say I can't do this crime with this man?
29:05What is this now?
29:07My daughter, I know your heart.
29:10Did you commit the smallest crime in your life?
29:13I did.
29:16I was a thief, too.
29:23What?
29:24Yes, I was a thief, too.
29:28My family life wasn't easy at all.
29:32Sometimes my mother couldn't stand my father, she would go to her relatives.
29:35But I had a school, I couldn't go to her.
29:37My father couldn't go home anyway.
29:40I was alone for days.
29:42I was alone for days, for days.
29:49I couldn't stand it once.
29:51I couldn't stand my hunger, I was so hungry.
29:57I went and stole bread from the bakery.
30:01Bread.
30:02It was this much.
30:07Then I was caught, of course.
30:10He grabbed my arm and said, it's over.
30:13I'm shaking, it's over, my life is over.
30:18Then he looked at my face.
30:21He looked at my clothes.
30:26He said, go, my daughter.
30:28Go, you'll fill your stomach.
30:31That's it.
30:34If that woman hadn't told me to go that day,
30:40I wouldn't be sitting in front of you as a doctor now.
30:50My teacher, Ilhan, has always been one of them all his life.
30:54He has always been one of them all his life.
30:57Can't you help him just once?
31:02Just once.
31:07No matter what he's done,
31:09have you ever made a mistake, even if it's a small one?
31:20Teacher.
31:21You go, I'll let you know.
31:28Go.
31:45Don't cry, don't cry, okay?
31:48Erman, I feel like a murderer.
31:51How could I forget this?
31:53It could have been a baby's life.
31:55I took it from him.
31:56Beliz, tens of thousands of babies can't be held every day.
32:00He was in a risk pregnancy group.
32:02Maybe the baby wouldn't even live.
32:05It wasn't going to happen because of me.
32:07Erman, I can't forgive myself.
32:10What are you going to do?
32:19I'll take back what I got from Kıvılcım.
32:28If it's going to be good for you, do it.
32:31But I have to ask, are you sure?
32:35Because you're making an emotional decision right now.
32:42That baby is gone because of this.
32:45At least let me do this much.
32:51Okay.
32:52Come.
32:55Okay.
33:07You go, I have to do this.
33:16You go, I have to do this.
33:28Voice doesn't come out only with vocal cords.
33:32Slow down, slow down.
33:34Look, look, look.
33:35Then control.
33:36Yes, yes, careful.
33:37Examine.
33:38Examine.
33:41Do you want me to talk while wearing it?
33:43Yes, it's possible.
33:45It was a joke.
33:47Okay.
33:48Horlama is a better model.
33:50Yes, it vibrates the soft palate tissue...
33:52...and makes people make the sound of horlama.
33:54But they are not tense enough to completely copy the vocal cords.
33:58However, we can use it as a vocal cord from our own ribs.
34:02Okay, but Ali, the throat is a very complex organ.
34:05So it's like a small musical instrument.
34:08Exactly.
34:09Look now.
34:10Look now.
34:13Look.
34:17If we take the two ribs and create an internal and external throat frame...
34:21...we can get as much vocal cord vibration as we want.
34:24Then should we cut the wire we worked so hard to close?
34:27We can ruin everything we fix, teacher.
34:30He can talk.
34:31Yes.
34:32Isn't it worth it, teacher?
34:33Isn't it worth it, teacher?
34:34Look, Ali, okay.
34:35I understand you very well.
34:36You make the child look like you...
34:38...and you think he should speak loudly for him to be understood.
34:41You're right, but I think...
34:42Ali is right.
34:50I think he's absolutely right.
34:54If you could think of this, Ali...
34:57...if you could think of this, Ali...
34:59...if you could think of this, Ali...
35:01...if you could think of this, Ali...
35:04...I could make a vocal cord from your rib.
35:08Well done.
35:13Well done.
35:27Absolutely not.
35:28I will never allow it.
35:29You should have waited for him to finish.
35:31No, didn't you say it was risky?
35:33Yes, I did.
35:34Yes, it's risky.
35:36But if we don't think we can do this, we won't offer you these options, ma'am.
35:40Look, our son is healthy.
35:42For the first time in years, he's healthy.
35:44He's breathing.
35:45How can we risk this when he's breathing on his own?
35:50So what's the risk?
35:51We were going to do it ourselves.
35:52But this is a very risky thing.
35:54Mr. Ferman accepted it again.
35:55Now they're telling Ali downstairs.
35:57Is this Ali's idea?
35:59Yes, sir.
36:02Look, you don't have to make a decision right away.
36:06Think as much as you want.
36:08You can ask us all the questions you can think of.
36:11I'm serious.
36:12Really.
36:14What's going on here?
36:15Nothing.
36:17We're discussing options with my patient's family, Mr. Tanju.
36:21Okay, let's solve it right away.
36:23Do you want this operation?
36:25No.
36:26You?
36:27No.
36:28Okay, it's closed.
36:29Guys, please let me get you out.
36:34Mr. Ferman, please.
36:38Mr. Ali, you too.
36:42Mr. Ali.
36:43You're making a mistake.
36:44You're making a mistake.
36:51Maybe he'll always be on the border.
36:53He won't have friends, he'll be alone, he won't talk to anyone.
36:55He'll make fun of you.
36:56Ali, okay.
36:57No, it's not okay.
36:58Why don't you ask him?
37:00Why don't you ask him?
37:02Maybe he wants it.
37:04Who are you to decide about his life?
37:06Ali Vefa.
37:07No, no, it's not okay.
37:08It's not okay.
37:09Ali, look at me.
37:14If you don't go out now, I'll hold you by your arm and throw you out as much as you want.
37:19No, no, no, no.
37:22He has the right to talk.
37:24Why can't he talk?
37:25Why can't he open his mouth and say anything?
37:27Why doesn't anyone listen to him?
37:29Why doesn't anyone listen to Berke?
37:30Why don't you ask him?
37:31Why don't you ask Berke?
37:33Ali Vefa.
37:34Ali, is it his fault?
37:36Is it his fault?
37:37Why don't you ask Berke?
37:38Ali.
37:39Ferman.
37:40Ferman.
37:41Ferman.
37:42What is he doing?
37:43What is this?
37:44What is this?
37:45Ferman.
37:46Ferman.
37:47Ferman.
37:48Ali, enough.
37:49Enough.
37:56Get out.
38:00Get out.
38:02He's a dead man.
38:04What kind of doctor is this?
38:05We're really sorry.
38:07What is this?
38:08There will be a price for this.
38:10We're really sorry.
38:16What kind of thing is this?
38:17Is this man crazy?
38:21It's nothing.
38:22Look, ma'am.
38:23If you knew Ali this much,
38:26you would understand what he's doing for your little son.
38:32I'm sorry again.
38:40Like a joke.
38:42Mom.
38:43No, it's okay.
38:45It's over.
38:55They don't listen to me.
38:56They don't listen to me.
38:57They don't listen to me.
38:58They don't listen to me.
39:00They don't listen to me.

39:47They don't listen to me.
39:49They don't listen to me.
39:54Leave it.
40:08There's something I haven't told you before.
40:10And I have to do it now.
40:15Sure.
40:16I'm listening.
40:18I was very angry.
40:20I didn't like anyone as much as I liked you.
40:25I hated you.
40:31But...
40:35But on the other hand...
40:41I always admired you.
40:48Really?
40:52You don't know how to do business, you don't know how to be a lawyer, but...
40:55...you didn't hesitate for a moment when my father offered you a job here.
41:00You weren't afraid.
41:02You didn't run away, you didn't give up.
41:04You brought this hospital to this day, nail by nail.
41:10What difference does it make now?
41:14Still, thank you.
41:18Well, which one am I going to believe in, Kıvılcım?
41:20I don't know which one I'm going to believe in.
41:22The woman who stole my whole life, or...
41:26...the woman I admire?
41:29Who's in front of me right now?
41:32The other one.
41:35The ignorant...
41:37...but ambitious one.
41:41Well, if I believe her...
41:43...can you promise that the other one won't come back?
41:48Can we start over?
41:51Can we do this?
41:53We can.
41:55Of course, we can.
41:58I can do it for you, we can start over.
42:04Then welcome back to us.
42:09Really?
42:10Really.
42:12I told everyone, everyone thinks I'm crazy, but I...
42:15...want to believe I'm not crazy.
42:19I want to believe that we can start a new page.
42:23I'm taking you back to work.
42:37You know...
42:39...you're a really good person.
42:44I mean, Faruk...
42:45Faruk...
42:47...you raised a perfect child.
42:50Look, I'm not like you.
42:53And actually, I didn't do anything to deserve this.
42:58But I'm going to do it for you.
43:01I'm going to change for you.
43:03We're going to start over.
43:05I promise.
43:15I promise.
43:25Thank you, Elif.
43:31Thank you so much.
