00:00Yeah, and I don't disagree with that.
00:04I mean, we've seen the script for the Steelers who have a strong defense and then an offense
00:08that has fleeting moments of coming to life, but there's no happy ending for this team.
00:13We know exactly at which point they fizzle out.
00:16My brain saying week seven, maybe because again, I'm sitting there because of how much
00:20action has already happened through week two, but you can't beat the script sometimes.
00:24And that's where the Steelers lie in my book.
00:26As for your rundown when it comes to the Raiders and the Ravens, I just think they haven't
00:29really had a chance to piece together their best game and a disruptive defense early on
00:33in seasons can usually throw some of the top teams for a loop.
00:36We saw that in a number of games today.
00:38Max Crosby coming out with two socks and with socks, sacks in leading the charge for the
00:43defense.
00:44They were already hyped up to have this matchup.
00:46And when a team like that is counted out and when they're led by a guy like Crosby on the
00:50defense, you're going to see some interesting things.
00:52So I really much chalk it up to that not to take away from any quality progressions that
00:57the Raiders had today.
00:58But we're not going to get too high on what we saw.
01:00But speaking of another defense that shook things up, Saints, there was a lot of question
01:05marks.
01:06They beat a Panthers team.
01:07Who cares?
01:08The Panthers team are in rebuild mode.
01:09Nobody was expecting much out of them.
01:11Of course, at one point you're screaming, why don't we have mercy role in NFL?
01:14And then you get to Saints versus Cowboys matchup 44 44 to 19.
01:19The Saints put up 44 points on the freaking Cowboys who last week everybody was swearing
01:24up and down was going to a Super Bowl.
01:26And yes, most of them were fans of the Cowboys who always have the expectations equivalent
01:30to New York fans.
01:31Sorry, everybody.
01:32That's what you get from a Tampa Bay girl.
01:34But I mean, you got Derek Carr 243 passing yards to Teddy's one interception, Dak Prescott
01:39not falling far behind.
01:41I mean, 293 one touchdown, two costly interceptions.
01:45That's for sure.
01:46CeeDee Lamb showed up with 90 receiving yards.
01:48But I mean, it was the Saints that had the balance attack on the offensive side of the
01:51ball and came up stronger on the defensive side of the ball.
01:53What do you see in this?
01:56The Saints obviously off to this flying start.
01:58I would say it's it's a great start for them.
02:02They are putting up points left and right there.
02:05The status there.
02:06They've scored on every drive that they have, whether field goal or touchdown.
02:11It's not an easy stretch of games for them.
02:13Eagles, Falcons, Chiefs, Buccaneers are the next for a very tough stretch.
02:18So I would say if you believe in the Saints long term now might not be the best time to
02:24buy into them on an NFC future, whatever it might be, because theoretically they could
02:29lose two out of these next four games, three of the next four games.
02:32They're sitting at plus 1300 right now for the NFC championship.
02:37If they lose two of the two or three of the next four games, which I think is plausible
02:40given the quality of competition that they're going up against, that number is not going
02:44to be 13 to one.
02:45It's gonna be closer to 20 to one.
02:46So again, I don't love talking futures too much, but off to a super high, hot start.
02:51If you miss the boat, I'm betting on them before the season starts.
02:54We should actually pump the brakes and wait a little bit until this next stretch of games
02:59plays out.
03:00And then you could get back in at, I'm going to say what's going to be closer to 20 to
03:03one if they end up three and three after this next, next stretch of games.
