00:00Let's begin with the Jets. Of this four-pack of teams here, I think they had the highest
00:09expectations. They were the only division favorite in New York this year. Favor to win
00:14a very difficult AFC East. The panic meter has a number of scales, Leecey. Where did
00:20you land on it for the New York Jets?
00:22I asked the production crew before we started in regards to the show, could we put the panic
00:27meter off the charts for the New York Jets? Hot! Hot! Hot!
00:31Really?
00:32Yeah, I did. I said, I am panicking in a big way in regards to the New York Jets. That
00:38performance on Monday night was absolutely pathetic. Not just from an offensive perspective,
00:43more concerned with the defense. This was a defense that was supposed to be a top ten
00:47unit, right? All the best defense in regards to the AFC, Donnie. If all they had was a
00:51quarterback last year, they would have won the Super Bowl. Bring back Joe Namath and
00:55the 1969 New York Jets, this is it. Nine and a half win total. Favorites to potentially
01:01win the AFC East. Gutless. Gutless, gutless effort. And if that defense falls apart in
01:07somehow, some way, they lose to Will Levis in Tennessee today, that's going to be off
01:11the charts because Aaron Rodgers potentially isn't the answer.
01:14I mean, said like a true Homer Dolphins fan who doesn't like the Jets at this point.
01:19Stop!
01:20It's apparent there. We're being biased in this equation. Here's what I got. And yes,
01:24we will go back to last year with the New York Jets and say if they just got company
01:27quarterback play, they would be fine. You know what the only thing I cared about Monday
01:30night was? Is Aaron Rodgers upright? Does his arm look good? They will be just fine.
01:34The defense will come around, no doubt about it. And today is one of those games where
01:37the defense should have a walk in the park based on what we saw last week from the Titans.
01:41But for my Jets, as long as I take a look at Aaron Rodgers, still playing well here
01:45and now I'm a fan of the Jets, I feel like a true Dolphins fan, I've got to go against
01:48you here. I'm not worried about the Jets. I'm just not worried about the Jets.
01:51So I believe you checked in at concern, which then might make me feel like I'm worried due
01:57to my breakdown. But I'm calm on the Jets. I don't see it at all. They went to San Francisco.
02:05Look, I am somewhat fading the Niners this year relative to expectations. But I'm also
02:11not going to be right about everything, Miami Dolphins. There's a world the Niners are the
02:15absolute best team in football. And they pounded the rock. I think today, yes, if Tony Pollard
02:21runs for $1.50 on him, we got problems, okay? Because now, what does it matter if you have
02:26a superstar secondary if you can't stop the run? And I thought Rodgers looked fine. They
02:32didn't play well in the game. They got smashed by a great team. You're jumping off the meter
02:38one game?
02:39Yes, jumping off. They beat them down by double digits without Christian McCaffrey. Without
02:44IUK, leading that team in receptions with Debo basically lining up and carrying the
02:49football for 10 times and your gutless front seven didn't stop anybody. I mean, here's
02:54the thing. They go 0-2, right? Then it's all we heard all offseason. Easy schedule. They'll
03:00be there 4-2, 5-3 at worst after the first eight games. What if this team is under 500?
03:07Is Aaron Rodgers then going to step up and be accountable? Is he going to get in front
03:11of the podium? We know he runs the organization. And what is Robert Salah going to do?
03:16Listen, I mean, Robert Salah is going to get fired if this goes bad.
03:20But again, that is a major reason why I'm panicking right now.
